Not sure that I will ever go back. The service was okay not great! We asked for eggs over medium and they came broken and over cooked. The hash brown had so much oil on the plate that I could fried a few elephant ears. The food tasted okay. The ambiance was very country.

Country. Cooking. Cook's. My lunch choice was the buffet. Salad fixings. The works. Meat loaf. Chicken and Dumplings. REAL Mashed Potatoes and gravy. A good selection of Veggies, including juicy corn on the cob. Then, some fruit or ice cream. And the BEST banana pudding I've had in years! ALL that for just $13.99 with the Senior Discount! My buds got the Patty Melt. With Tater Tots. Both were excellent! Tots were nicely toasty. Just $11.99! What goes great with hearty country cooking? Excellent service! Hanah handled us handily. Happily hands down! I can thank Sheila at the Blairsville Chamber of Commerce for this restaurant recommendation! Bravo.

From the welcoming steps at the entry to the cute decor inside everything was great! The food tasted great and the server was very attentive to our needs. We would definitely go back again!

OH MY GOD. This place was so amazing. I was hesitant to come because of the rating but it's so bright and airy in here, the service is amazing and the pies Came here with my kids for Hurricane Milton evacuation and was hella stressed and they were amazing. I got a burger and it wasn't too greasy. The small burger was still a great size! My kids got the kids burger and kids chicken tenders - the fries were like you'd make at home, and the chicken was nice and big and fresh and real chicken, which is great for a kids meal. The French silk chocolate pie slice was DIVINE. We split it. I could eat 6 more lol

We tried this place for breakfast and should have read reviews before hand. The restaurant was not close to full capacity. Service was VERY slow and there were tables all around with dirty dishes. Needless to say they were understaffed. When ordering I asked "what type of bread does the egg sandwich come on". The waitress responded "I assume white" Wait ... what???? How do you not know the menu?!? I proceeded with ordering sausage EGG and cheese on a biscuit and a side of hash browns. Pretty simple! When my order arrived I got a biscuit that was falling apart, small sausage patty that didn't even fit on 1/2 a biscuit and a piece of cheese that was no where close to melted. I took the top off the biscuit and said to the waitress "there's no egg". She took it back to the kitchen and returned it a few minutes later in an unassembled presentation. It was not good at all. The hash browns were another story. The portions size as seen in the photo was pathetic ... about 20 strings of hash browns scattered on a small blue plate for $3.25. Not at all tasty and way over priced. My husband ordered the country fried steak and eggs. He reported it was "ok". It looked disgusting. We had to ask for more coffee and the response was "it will be a few minutes, it's still brewing". I did like the tin cup they served water in and noticed they had them for sale at the register. Finally something positive about this place. Wait for it ... they were out of mugs. Well of course they were. Skip this place is my only recommendation.

1st time stopping in after wanting to give this place a try for awhile now. So glad we came in for dinner as it was very tasty with large portions. The sweet tea is some of the best in the area and served in large and cute mugs. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the buffalo chicken salad which was very flavorful and a nice serving size for the price. We also ordered the blackened shrimp skewers with baked potato and butter peas which were 2 full skewers and a very large potato. Definitely excited to come back and try more off the menu. The menu offers a wide range of southern food, seafood, sandwiches, salads, Philly cheesesteaks, etc. and you also have the option of the daily meat and vegetable plates or the fresh soups. The restaurant itself is pretty large with ample seating and has a decent amount of parking. Breakfast is offered on weekends until 10:30am.

We were looking for a place to eat before heading back to Florida and we were striking out. Several places closed, a couple under construction, but guess that was luck striking as we stumbled across Cook's. Ambiance was pretty much what we expected for a little country kitchen, well, not so little. Was really in the mood for a burger and tots and great place to end up. Double meat burger with cheese and bacon.... Mmmm. Really hit the spot. And tots were perfect, crunchy outside and not greasy at all (ate every one on that tot mountains). If anything, the prices were a tad high but then again, the food sure didn't have us leaving hungry. Didn't try the buffet but saw a lot of people heading that way. And could not stop reading the soda cup!

We visited Blairsville and went to Cooks for a quick lunch. We ordered country fried steak sandwich and french dip with homemade fries.... tea was amazing, food came out, looked amazing.... sandwiches tasted amazing, we both noticed the fries were not cooked thru, we told the waitress, she said she eould get us fresh fries. we had eaten our sandwiches and waited a while, i ask for our check, the came owner came out (Blair) said were getting you crispy fries, i said im not concerned about crispy, we only said something becouse these fries are half raw. She said you could have ordered tots, and i said we could have gone anywhere but we chose here.... she then looked at me and said your right , you can go anywhere, you can go to hell for all i care....i responded, i think im already there.... very unprofessional, I have done catering for 200 to 300 hunded people at a time, you cant please everyone, but when there is an issue with your menu, you make it correct....not get deffensive and tell clients to go to hell

Coming out the the North Georgia mountains we found this little gem. Perched on top of the hill/overpass made it an easy in and out. Service was quick and very friendly. Food was just as good. I had the country fried steak with fries and a salad. Everything was prepared very well and the taste was excellent. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich with what they call potato babies (seasoned wedges). Excellent choice as well. Great food and service. Stop by you won't be disappointed.

The delicious Hollandaise Sauce kept me begging for more. The others in our group ordered the brunch meatloaf. The meat portion was huge, approximately 6" long by 4" wide by about 1 1/2" to 2" thick. It was served over a bed of mashed potatoes with a side of green beans. We shared an order of lava cake. Arriving with whipped cream & a scoop of vanilla ice cream all were greatly satisfied. The only negative is because the floors are wood, and not carpet, the acoustics are quite "echoey". Plus we arrived at the height of the Sunday brunch crowd. Therefore, this made it a challenge for our 93 year old friend with hearing aids to understand the conversation. The restaurant is a big hall with no booths. The chairs are comfortable. Our server Josh was great to make recommendations. Food was delivered hot. After eating I wandered out to a large outdoor patio. On Saturday nights there is often live music. The ladies bathroom is equipped with gorgeous duo copper sinks. The toilet booths are nostalgic "old school wooden", reminiscent of the church basement of my childhood. I look forward to going back to try their catfish meal!

I wanted to try their pancakes but didn't want a full stack, and our server Robin was wonderful in recommending the Sweet Start. One thing we really appreciated is that all breakfast entrees include coffee or tea, and the prices are already very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that even though we ordered specialty coffees, we could still enjoy complimentary refills of regular coffee. The restaurant has a charming and unique atmosphere, with every table looking a little different from the next. For my meal, I ordered the Sweet Start, which included one pancake, eggs, and bacon. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days. My husband ordered the Banana Nut French Toast comes with homemade whipped cream and homemade pecan butter, which also came with bacon. He added a side of eggs as well. Everything was delicious.
