My wife and I came in soon after they had opened and we were the only customers in the restaurant. We liked the style of the restaurant - it was very colorful, bright, and festive. We started off with the chips and guacamole and it was amazing! I love thick and crunchy chips and these were probably the thickest and crunchiest tortilla chips that I have had in a restaurant - they went perfectly with the guacamole. They gave us salsa as well and told us it was spicy. I love spicy food and found it to not be spicy at all. My wife who does not like spicy food stated that it was not that spicy to her either (which worked for her!) My wife ordered the vegetarian fajitas and I ordered the vegetarian giant burrito. Both of our entrees were generous portions. We liked the taste of both of them but felt that both could have used just a little more kick. They just seemed a little more bland than the Mexican food I'm used to eating. Also, the vegetables that they put in my burrito included broccoli and other vegetables that I normally would not expect in a burrito. It was still tasty, but a little unexpected. Overall, it was good food, great portions (enough for two meals), and a great experience. My wife and I plan on going back. read more

I've come here several times in the last few weeks and overall I've been fairly happy. While I wouldn't say it was amazing, it's decent, basic semi-Americanized Mexican food, the kind of place you will keep going back to and trying new things. I'm particularly impressed with their Chipotle sauce, which is spicy the RIGHT way - the heat is there for flavor, not to test your limit of self-punishment! I will definitely keep going back - until something better comes along. read more

Food was great and the prices were decent! The margarita was good, but kinda pricy. Decor was fun and low key. Great to find a new spot in a new town! Didn't see the outdoor seating though, which was originally why we came... It was so nice out!! Oh well, good find regardless! read more

I'm not sure if we were just there on a bad night or what, but what a disappointment! Service was chaotic at best and our party of 6 waited over 45 minutes to have our order taken (in fact, we were done with our appetizers before the dinner order was even taken). Meals were then brought out one-by-one with so much time in between, the first orders were stone cold when others arrived. One order even went to another table first! Fajitas are supposed to be sizzling, but so much the steak is burnt black and tough as nails? And the smoke from the plates was enough to fill the restaurant with serious smoke and an acrid smell that hung on my clothes long after we'd left. No drink refills, no pupusas (waitress didn't even know what they were - and when they were pointed out on the menus she told me they didn't make them anymore), no green salsa. Did notice very large double pours of tequila and Red Bull heading back into the kitchen, so perhaps therein lies the problem. Won't be back. read more

This food is amazing. Love it. However, it's kinda pricey. They don't put refried beans in Chimichangas but every other mexican rest i have ever been to does, but it's ok because their red beans in the chimi taste just as good. read more

the food arrived piping hot within Minutes! and it was Delicious! the taco salad may have been the best I've ever had, and the beef enchiladas with rice and beans was all good. Whoever said the margaritas weren't good was mistaken! a great find!!!! read more

This is my favorite go to Mexican Spot. If you want reasonably authentic and tasty Mexican this is the spot. The family that runs the place is from Monterrey. The nail two of the simpler things that shockingly too many places mess up. For instance; they have great chips, the rice and beans are properly cooked and seasoned (shockingly too many places get this wrong!) and the beer is always served in a frosted mug. Chile relleyos, enchilladas (any filling) and tamales are great as are the tacos. Prices are very low which sometimes causes them to be a bit skimpy on the fresh ingredients; Salsa and garnishes. All in all, great food and super friendly service. read more

Service was mediocre and Food came out fast but it was SIMPLY NOT GOOD. They gave a skimpy serving of salsa on my taco salad but the instrumental amount of sour cream made up for it. In fact there was so much disgusting sour cream (in which I asked are waiter several times to NOT put sour cream on my food) that it would have been more appropriate to call it sour cream with a little bit of bagged lettuce and "beef". I'm not sure if I'd go way out of my way for Aztec, but if you live or work anywhere near the southern part of the Natick/Framingham border, this is a great place to go for quick service and reliably tasty "Mexican" food. (I put "Mexican" in quotes since I am not certain one can find "authentic" Mexican food in the vast majority of New England restaurants that claim to be Mexican.) We love going here with our kids on nights when we want a good hassle-free meal: no wait, quick service, good and hot food. Some have commented the prices are relatively high, but we just went there last week and I would say our bill was literally half of what we pay for dinner at most of the other places we go to dinner, including other local Mexican restaurants. The only downside is that the while the salsa and chips they serve when you sit down are excellent, Aztec charges you for a refill. Perhaps they once were "burned" by a group who ordered buckets of free chips and gallons of free salsa refills, but it would be nice if they changed the policy and just trusted their customers not to abuse the chips and salsa refill privileges. read more

It was so nice, when we lived a block from the Aztec. Closest to being in Mexico City, of any place I've tried in the US. Fresh, fresh. And priced great! The place is not a lot to look at -- but the service and quality are the best. read more

Tex-Mex chain food. Nothing special, very bland,. The three enchilada lunch special at under 10 bucks is the only thing I go for. The chips are the deep fried authentic ones. The lunch meals are premade so they simply reheat them. So yeah lunch is fast and affordable. Dinner is a different story more fresh and you should always ask to mix it up like one chicken one beef. read more

Yes, you can get good Mexican food in Massachusetts! Call it Tex-Mex, not authentic, whatever, it just tastes good. Staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable. I've never been disappointed. read more

I was feeling adventurous when I decided to try this place out. I've driven by it a million times, and it always looked to me like one of those sketchy hole in the wall places that you'd get food poisoning at. But I couldn't have been more wrong! The food is excellent (though there isn't a huge menu so if you're looking for a ton of choices, a bigger chain restaurant would probably be better). The inside is tiny, but they let you seat yourself, and the waiter was at our table almost immediately. The chips were good, but the salsa was a little watery and bland (I think it was homemade, so maybe it was just that one batch...I'll have to go back and try it again to see). I was surprised by how much I ended up liking this place. This is definitely a case of "don't judge a book by its cover". I'd recommend this place to a friend. Prices are super reasonable, so its at least worth giving it a chance! read more

i like this place but their close mondays and i have to watch my kids making it impossible to get their. the food is pretty good i like that they have two hot sauces one that is green and the other is the typical red. the green stands out because its so damn spicy. they give you free chips while you wait which is another great gesture. the drinks r good and the chicken flavoring they use is out of this world. read more
