They forgot the toasted bagel with butter, so I had to place another order. When I asked if I had already been charged for it, the employee said he couldn't remember. I ended up paying close to $24, and I couldn't justify the total because I was not given a receipt when I paid. Prices aren't posted on the menu board, and with mistakes on the order, the cost is hard to justify. Very disappointing.

Now I know why, bagels are below average because they taste like a loaf of bread in the shape of a bagel. The bagels don't have that traditional bagel texture I expect to taste when biting into a bagel. There really aren't any other options in the immediate area which is why this place survives. I have to try "Not Just Bagels" around the corner because if they have solid bagels they should be killing it. Service is top notch, staff is superb. The selection of bagels is limited and when asked what cheese they had, they only had American despite the sign listing several types of cheese. We ordered an everything bagel and a salt bagel, both with butter and tomato and a small coffee. There is an up charge for the everything bagel due to it being an "egg everything bagel". The everything bagel was hard. (And anyone who knows bagels knows egg bagels are the softest bagels). It didn't taste fresh even though it was 830 am. The salt bagel was softer, better and decent. The coffee was hot but taken from a carafe- not freshly brewed, so it also tasted old and flat. The servers were friendly enough and the prices were decent (despite the up charge) , $9.25 dollars for the 2 bagels and coffee. Probably not coming here again, going to look further around for a better bagel shop, I know they're hard to find in this area.
