I've given this places so many chances and today has been my last time. The food is flavorless I got a bfast burrito and it had no flavor at all the green salsa gave it flavor. My husband had a wrap and that thing was drenched in dressing. Bagels r ok but not the best I feel like they taste kinda like a pizza crust very doughy. I visited my in laws in Salinas and was taken here. Great menu, great selection, and good customer service. However, I selected a special, their tri tip sandwich. Unfortunately it was soaked in BBQ sauce, overwhelmingly. They should tell you that so you can have the option of getting the sauce on the side. Not good, I pulled the meat out, wiped it off and left the soaked bun. Also, they didn't have the capability of redeeming my brother in laws gift cards. Kind of embarrassing. Just tried this place for the first time. I don't know why I haven't eaten here sooner. My mind and body was not ready for the burrito I got. Order a supreme breakfast burrito with avocado. Absolutely delicious. And my girlfriend ordered the Capri panini (which she usually gets) and that was delicious as well. Will certainly be coming back for more. read more

I frequent the Bagel Corner 1 to 3 times per week. Their bagels are fresh, oversized and priced right. The selection of flavors is impressive, even though I get the same thing each visit. They have a nice selection of coffee blends with a well-stocked array of coffee creamers, sugars, etc. Plenty of seating (indoors and out) makes for a nice visit. The outdoor patio is nice if you have your dog with you. My only complaint is that their service is slow. In the morning, when it's busiest, the line of customers waiting can go out the door. Regardless, the employees do not hustle one bit. On numerous occasions, I've had to do a 180 and go elsewhere. I find this odd as the employees have two tip cans by the registers. Overall: It's a great bagel shop-probably one of the best in Salinas, but don't be in a hurry. read more

I love the bagels here. There always seems to be a line but well worth the short wait. The bagels are being made in the back so fresh is the word...the seed bagel is my favorite with all different seeds and SALT! Not alot but that makes it for me! Yumo! I like this place but it isn't as great as everyone says. I usually get a breakfast burrito, but I haven't been there in a while and I forgot what was in it. When I think of breakfast burrito I think of egg, cheese, bell pepper, onion etc. but all it has is egg and potato. Really bland and not worth the price. I also agree with people who say it's a little too expensive. The bagel I got also did not have very much taste to it and they put way too much cream cheese. I've been coming here for years but just two days ago I came to the realization that the lady that takes your orders is not so friendly! Don't get me wrong the bagels are good but the lady who takes orders always rushes even though there is no one behind you and doesn't let you think about what you will order! Once again VERY DISAPPOINTING! I'm currently admitted in the hospital so we order through the phone. She got our WHOLE ORDER WRONG! So when my mom came back with what was suppose to be a chorizo burrito and I bit into a an egg and sausage burrito that taste DISGUSTING you can imagine my disappointment! She cut me off two time repeating that she may have taken the wrong bag. Once she finally heard me say that for the 3rd time she told me "well you going too have to bring it all back if you want us to make it right" first of all OBVIOUSLY I don't want to eat this nasty stuff. But secondly you didn't have to be swear up and down that we made the mistake when your business did! Teach your employees to take ownership of making the moment right instead of accusing your paying customers of taking the wrong phone order. I think it was more than 2 years ago that my sister first introduced me to the bagels here. She didn't finish half of her bagel and I ended up finishing it for her and I have been hooked ever since. I'm just saddened that the spread they used o' so long ago (I think it was a pineapple spread) was discontinued, but they carry an incredibly light and tasty bagel called the TRIPLE BERRY. Get it toasted and spread some really really light strawberry cream cheese on that puppy and you are good to go. Cons: Expensive. Little bang for your buck. Ground level changes as soon as you walk in! It really throws you off! The menu is written in chalk and you can barely understand what's written on it. This place gets good reviews only due to its lack of competition. Seriously, there are no other bagels available for miles. Unless you count the disgusting grocery store bagel, which is really bread shaped as a ring. If you have ever had an actual bagel, like from New York City, You will know these hardly bare any resemblance. Hard pass on this place, it was my second time coming because I wanted to give it one more chance. The first time around I came on a Saturday morning obviously they were busy so I didn't make a big deal about the 30 minute wait even though it was a little ridiculous. I didn't like my bagel but that was my fault for not asking for no capers on my Lox bagel. Today tho I ordered the Santa Fe bagel on a sesame toasted bagel and the bagel itself it's supposed to consist of chicken, avocado, jack cheese and chipotle sauce. I omitted the jack cheese but the chicken was extremely dry and rubbery/chewy and just plain out bland, the avocado ratio was alright but the chipotle sauce was non existence, I literally order the bagel just for the sauce and received none in it. I mean for $9 I could of gotten something way better anywhere else. But honestly overall both times the staff is just rude, no acknowledgement it's just a uncomfortable atmosphere. read more
