    Cookies and scones

This is hands down the BEST bakery in town. If you are going to splurge on a delicious treat (or one of their savory creations), this is the place to do it! The service is beyond compare. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the nicest group of individuals. The baker, Heather, is one of the kindest people you will meet and is lovely to talk to. She often has samples of her products out to taste, and will happily tell you all about her delicious treats she has available. In addition, she does special orders and large events. Have someone with a diet or allergy need? Don't worry, she can make something for everyone! I've had her make cakes for two different birthdays, and WOW, each was amazing. The cake is the exact texture you'd want it to be and the flavors are top-notch. My personal favorite has to be her scones and cookies. She often has them daily and you'll be lucky to get one if you don't go early! Enjoy this delicious place!

Finding bakeries that are absolutely out of this world amazing are extremely hard... after visiting family in Mims I searched up some local bakeries to visit and this one popped up at the top of the list. The shop is a bit small but don't let that defer you because the desserts are SO delicious that you'll want to buy out all of the store! I got the chocolate cake, which was described to me as a staple on a crying break up night (shes 100% right), not too sweet where it becomes overpowering, it's just perfect and the chocolate flavor is decadent! I also got the key lime tart, coconut cream tart, scones, and a lemon cookie! I couldn't help myself and I did try them all after I got home (hence the half eaten pic) but it was all I could do to not finish them off! MUST try this place!!! You'll be back for more!

Definitely a gem find - small, local, family run bakery with flavors rivaling the big city! My first bakery find in NSB was a complete flop, so I was somewhat hesitant when I rolled up to an unassuming building in a NSB neighboring town. So happy I did! Great creative flavor combos for the different season (coconut + eggnog, pumpkin + Nutella, etc.. Be sure to stop in next time you're on this side of the state!

We got a vegan chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream icing with dark chocolate vegan pea but birder cups on top. So decadent and freakin delicious.

Amazing! Delicious, not too sweet and lime flavor is brilliant. Staff and owner very helpful. Stop by there for one of their delicious treats as well.

I hired Heather and The Bake Shop for my wedding cake and two birthday cakes for April 12, 2019, and all of the cakes were a huge hit! First, Heather is really fun, yet extremely professional! Second, the cake tasting with her was my favorite experience of the whole planning process. She completely understood what we were looking for - simple and beautiful- and she nailed it. We had a naked cake with blueberry lemon preserves, decorated with rosemary and candies blueberries- all Heather's ideas based off our conversations with her. The wedding cake was not only gorgeous, it was absolutely delicious! And holy cow was it affordable!! Heather is a treasure. Thank you for making our dream wedding come true!!

    Pretty Boxed Treats!

10/10 recommend this place! Kayla went out of her way to make my Aunt and Uncle's Anniversary special. I'm not in the area but picked from the menu and she put it in a pretty box and wrote out a card. She then hand delivered it to them. It is so hard to find good customer service and this bake shop went above and beyond! My uncle and aunt said they love everything I sent them!

I'm certain that this is an iconic ice cream shop to the locals and I don't want to knock it or upset anyone here, really, but here is my thought, stick to ice cream. If you're not selling other foods and doing those as well as your ice cream, take them off the menu. My hot dog was hot- yes. It had a decent bun. The dog itself was meh. I've had better, I've had worse. The price was good. The chili and liquid cheese - I could have bought Hormel and cheese whiz. It's great if you like THAT! But if you're going to do it- do it well. Do it BETTER than the others! Or don't do it. Based on that experience, I'm just not going out of my way to hurry back, but I'm sure there a lot of people that will and that's okay. I missed photos of our starters; Soup of the Day - Crab and Corn Chowder and Potato Latke. The chowder had great flavor and plenty of vegetables and crab with each bite. The base was thinner than a traditional chowder but still very delicious. Latkes were good but I saw the foie gras go to another table and wish we had tried that instead. All of the entrees were delicious. Filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The Tile fish was beautifully prepared. Very light and flavorful with the fennel salad and bean cassoulet. The winner was the House-made gnocchi. Deep in flavors and the gnocchi melted in your mouth. Because they were made with flour (vs potato), they were like pillows of goodness on a plate. We were tapped out...and then we looked at the dessert menu. Banana pudding caught our attention and it did not disappoint. Beautiful layering of banana jam (think banana foster), pudding, wafers and whip cream. Great end to the meal! We will be back...maybe even twice on trip!

We have been coming here for years, and it has consistently delivered a wonderful experience every single time. This is truly a French pâtisserie right out of France. The authenticity is obvious from the moment you walk in, from the atmosphere to the care put into every pastry and dish. From their fresh, flavorful sandwiches to my wife's all-time favorite Pavlova, everything we have tried has been beautifully prepared and genuinely delicious. The quality really stands out, and you can tell pride and tradition go into what they create. The owners, who are authentically French, add an extra layer of charm and credibility, and the staff are equally welcoming. They are kind, patient, and always happy to guide you if you are unsure what to order, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you are looking for a place that offers both savory bites and outstanding desserts, this spot is absolutely worth seeking out. Whether you want something sweet, a light meal, or simply a cozy café atmosphere that feels like a brief escape to France, Mon Délice is an easy recommendation. Give it a try. There is a very good chance you will walk out already planning your next visit. And very important: Don't forget to give the standard, properly French "Bon Jour!" when you step through the door. They will appreciate the reminder of home. (Plus it is the acceptable greeting all French make as they enter certain establishments.)

The pears in the tart were flavorful, but the crust was wet, and soggy. I don't think anything I sampled was fresh baked.
