It's a rough week. I tell my husband I would appreciate a surprise sometime as a pick me up. He does some searching and finds this amazing gem. He tells me we're going to McDonald's. I get 'somewhat' excited for a McFlurry. We drive past McDonald's. He has duped me. We pull up to The Baked Bear, a place I've never been. How cool of a name is that? And they have outdoor seating? Count me excited. We enter, and the place is chilly (expectedly). They have a million flavors in ice creams and cookies. Your brain whizzes through so many combinations. I settle on their cookie of the month (or week, I forget), which is a chocolate cookie with a Mexican cinnamon twist on it if I remember correctly, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. My husband picks a snickerdoodle cookie with a pretzel toffee-type ice cream. We get so excited to pay and eat these outside in the cool evening weather. We sit down at their blue tables, wondering if they get wiped down occasionally (answer is yes, they do). We bite into our rather big ice cream sandwiches, and it's heaven. It is so fun to catch up on our days and enjoy such a delicious treat in a new place as my pick-me-up surprise. Would highly recommend to anyone having a bad or a good week. We can't wait to be back!

After eating next door, decided to try. When you walk in you see the selection of cookies to make your sandwich. They look good! We went around to ice cream. Husband picked Red velvet cookies with salted caramel in middle. I passed due to limited flavors of ice cream. I only like in a cup but didn't have a flavor I liked. He got to go so they put in a good plastic container. A fun place for the young. I say rate a 3 but for someone that likes sandwich and toppings I can see a 4.

Oh the patience of the girls working on the day we visited The Baked Bear for the very first time ever. Such a great place to snag a birthday treat!!! What's better than fresh-from-the-oven, ooeygooey cookies? Homemade ice cream sandwiched between two of them!! It took us forever to pick out two cookies and one flavor of ice cream. Soooo many wonderful choices!!! We could've easily split one of the large ice cream sandwiches but we didn't. We each devoured one of our own. Thankfully there's more than one location. Doubly thankful there isn't one in my town...could be dangerous!!!

Very cute shop that has lots of sweets to choose from. Baked Bear offers Costum ice cream sandwiches with many flavors of ice cream and a variety of cookies and brownies to choose from along with coffee choices. Very sweet and the portions are big but I always enjoy this or Baked Bears food truck. Definitely would recommend!

Their chocolate ice cream is my absolute favorite. The service is pretty good. For some reason they only have about 2-3 employees at a time. The outside seating is great and the ice cream sandwiches are delicious. I totally recommend! :)

I did a call in order here right in the beginning of Covid. It was such a breeze calling in the order and paying over the phone. I was able to swing by and the girl working walked right out with a chocolate chip cookie and root beer float! Both were delicious! The float was presented by just two scoops of ice cream and a side of root beer that wasn't anything over the top next time I'd actually prefer getting ice cream separately since the ice cream was delicious. The cookie was good not too dry or not too buttery but i did notice a peanut butter taste to it and it was chocolate chip! Overall though no complaints both were delicious and something different to try!

The Baked Bear made a great choice when it picked Yukon as the next city to open up their 2nd franchise in Oklahoma. It is located in a newly constructed plaza not far from Yukon High School. Given the presence of Freddy's, Dairy Queen, and Braum's already, having the Baked Bear where they are pretty much gives you immediate access to ice cream in any part of Yukon. What distinguishes the Baked Bear from the others is that they provide ice cream sandwiches. And no, not those ice cream sandwiches that you buy in a package and pull out of your freezer. The ice cream here is sandwiched with cookies, brownies or donuts, mixed and matched to your liking. If that's not enough options for ya, fret not - you then have the choice between a dozen types of cookies, a dozen flavors of ice cream and lastly between a dozen toppings(which are 50 cents each). At the end of the assembly line, you can get your sandwich "hot pressed" where the cookie and/or brownie is warmed up without melting the ice cream. The end result is delightful - if you've ever enjoyed warm cookies with a glass of milk there's a good chance you'll like the Baked Bear. The possibilities are endless, and I've enjoyed every combination I've tried. Looking forward to trying many more!

My family and I visit this location at least once a week and love to bring our friends. They have plenty of options for everyone. My personal favorite is the raspberry crumble icecream alone but you can add a donut, brownie, or cookie to any scoop. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! read more

It is a small place with mediocre cookies and brownies that puts ice cream in them. I have no idea why people flock to it. Microwave a cookie at home and slap some store bought ice cream on it and save yourself the time of standing in line and the money for the overpriced experience. read more

I always like to give good reviews but this place was disappointing at best. The ice was extremely soft to the point that it was dripping mush. The cookies were extremely hard as was the brownies. When I said something to the person at the counter they were dismissive and said "it's hot outside the ice cream will be softer". Can't say I will be returning. read more

Omg!! This place is awesome! Would eat here every day if i could! I've had several things from here. I've tried many cookie sandwich combos but my favorite is plain chocolate chip cookies with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I recently got a bear bowl which consists of a warm cookie on the bottom with ice cream and topping of your choice on top. It was my favorite by far! It was easier to eat and less messy than the sandwich. My husband got the donut sandwich on our most recent trip. We weren't fans of it. The donut was plain without any icing and the ice cream inside just didn't make up for it. All in all i highly recommend this place! read more

Best hidden gem in the area. The staff is friendly and have amazing suggestions. I had a brownie with cookie dough ice cream with Nutella and a cookie on bottom then smooshed in a pudgy pie maker thing. This takes dat stacking to a whole new level. Cool dessert concept and great customer service. You basically build yourself an ice cream sandwich and then they put it on a sandwich press that warms the cookies and not the ice cream. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't know how you have an ice cream spot with no pecans or walnuts??! That's GOT to be a cardinal sin. They don't EEEM carry butter pecan ice cream, I know unbelievable, right?? Maybe it's the southern girl in me but you just can't have an ice cream spot and don't offer butter pecan, it seems... UNAMERICAN! Other than that give it a try, if you have a sweet tooth this spot won't disappoint! Well unless you want butter pecan. read more

I was excited to finally try this place. I have seen many friends mention it on Facebook and it looked good. And it was until I reached sugar overload. My wife and I both got our own sandwiches. The cookies were good. The ice cream was good. But it was all just too sugary. And I have a major sweet tooth. It was just too much for us to finish it all. But it was good. We also both went for the option to warm the cookies sandwich. We saw them put them in the warmer/presser, but the machine must not have been working as nothing seemed to be warm. This is the best place to get cookies hands down. I'm a person that loves soft and chewy cookies and this place is the best spot for that! I always go home with at least a dozen cookies of different varieties, but always get their red velvet and snicker doodle ones. They have tasty ice cream, but what makes their ice cream over the top is paring it with two of your favorite cookies to make an ice cream sandwich. Or you can have them throw your ice cream and cookies in a blender to make a shake. Either way if your out on a date or out with the family getting dinner, skip desert there and come get it here! read more

Pack the insulin and put this on your to do list! I got a cookie and cream cookie, and a red velvet cookie with a strawberry cheesecake ice cream on their opening day celebration. It was delicious. Our son liked this place but my husband and I didn't....not sure if it was what we ordered or if it's just not our thing. The sandwiches are huge and can be cut in half for more reasonable portions. Ice cream was ok, but again maybe ordered the wrong thing. Pricy too for dessert. read more

I originally heard about The Baked Bear when it opened on campus corner in Norman. I sadly never had the chance to go since the line was always out the door! When I heard the second location opened in Yukon this past week I was eager to finally get a taste!! The location is great and they are open till 9 so you can fix your sweet tooth late at night! The cookies are fresh and the they have plenty of options! I mix and matched the cookies and cream with bear tracks (cookie of the month). To finish off my ice cream sandwich, I added the bear batter ice cream that came in a bright blue color! Pro-tip, get your sandwich hot pressed. My only complaint is the seating situation. I visited The Baked Bear with a one year old but there were no high chairs to be found so she had to sit on our laps. The store is also lacking tables and chairs in general. With the amount of customers visiting, there should be enough that people aren't standing and eating their ice cream. read more

For my daughter's graduation this year, I wanted decorated theme cookies for her college and figured I'd ask if Eileen's did that. They said they did so I brought in some photos to see how detailed they could do. When I say they came out so incredible.... I mean my daughter was over the moon and felt so special, especially since they were Eileen's. Check out the photos. I moved from Las Vegas where we have a ton of grocery stores from big names to Mexican Grocery stores to Asian Grocery Stores all over the place. Most are big , but this one by far is bigger. I usually shopped at Smith's which is part of Kroger. We also had Albertson's , Von's , and recently Aldi. My son said they usually ordered from Kroger for most of their stuff , but come here for other stuff like meat. We just got an email that Kroger will no longer be doing deliveries after January 31st , so I guess this store will be getting busier. I found most of the prices to be close to what I paid in Las Vegas , but the family says it's a little more expensive. I like the store and the employees I spoke with were friendly and helpful. My son and I stopped in on November 13 to get some meat and they had the Coca-Cola 18 wheeler truck in the parking lot decorated for Christmas and Santa meeting with the kids and taking pictures. It was a nice setup and it gave me that small hometown feel that I had growing up in my hometown of Bennettsville , South Carolina. I love they were doing this. I'm really happy that my son and his wife choose this area to move to and buy their first home.

After all, this is an "East Coast style" deli, so you know what they are going to be really good at. Most recently, my Turkey Rueben was a great choice and I might have a hard time ordering something else. It was love at first bite. I'm also really a fan of the mushrueben- which is a Vegan option made with portobello mushrooms. Super unique, and man is it good. I also love that little platter of pickles and green tomatoes they give you here. So great to just snack on them or add them to your sandwich. They give you plenty to do both. You'll pay a bit more here than an average sandwich shop, but the food quality, nice dining room and friendly service make it all worth it. There's even cloth napkins and silverware on the tables so you can pretend you are fancy as you wipe the Russian dressing off your shirt. Check them out!
