Placed a order for a birthday cake!! Amazing! The order process and the kind staff, Best cake in town. It's literally the only bakery I will order from now on. Thank you for making this memory so special. Everyone loved the cake!!

I've been here twice now, the food & service is excellent. I tried the schnitzel special with German potato salad and It was great. The garlic sauce and bread is a must. Second time I tried The Barcelona burger suggested by a regular who was sitting next to us, and I was not disappointed. I will come back, great and reasonably priced food!

I can only speak for the baked goods, but I'd say that they are relatively average in quality and taste compared to Wal-Mart and other chains in the area. Compared to bakeries I've been to in Germany (grew up there as a child), this place is not very good. We ordered a cake here and the buttercream icing was very good but alas the cake itself was dry. They'd do well to use more butter/oil in their batter. We ordered a raspberry chocolate mouse pastry which was also just average. It had a layer of the dry cake on the button which subtracted from the experience. The pumpkin cheesecake was decent. It tasted like a cream cheese pumpkin pie. I think it would have been better with a nice graham crust on the spine of the slice. It was not overly sweat, definitely less sweet than the cheesecake factory and of equal quality. The French baguette was a slight disappointment. It was not bad but it wasn't great. It's as good as what you get at local groceries. I should say it had a slight smell of sourdough, and that's not something I've ever experienced in France or in any bakery in Europe.

However, if you need to eat gluten-free due to a medical condition like Celiac disease, please be very, very cautious. Although this establishment claims to offer gluten-free options, there seems to be a concerning lack of understanding of what "gluten-free" actually requires. I asked detailed questions before ordering and was assured that my selection was safe. After the food arrived--and after I had already started eating--I was then informed that while the crepe itself was gluten-free, the filling was not. That kind of distinction should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer specifically asks about gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the same situation happened with my daughter, who also has celiac. To make matters worse, we were charged for both the incorrect meals and the replacements. In hindsight, I should have asked for a manager, but we were there to visit with a friend and I didn't want to make a scene. Our total for three people ended up being over $80 with the tip I still left. I understand that eating out always carries risk when you have dietary restrictions, and I ALWAYS try to approach it with patience and kindness. We were traveling, so we didn't have much choice. But if a restaurant says they offer gluten-free items, there needs to be a basic understanding (by the wait staff AND the kitchen cooks) of ingredients and clear communication. What should have been a fun outing turned into a weekend of being very sick. Just something to be aware of if you have to eat gluten-free for health reasons - this is probably not the spot for you.
