Crab cake sandwich with lobster bisque
    Amy L.

Delicious food and such a cute little spot. Indoor and some outdoor seating. Loved the paintings all over the walls for sale created by local artists. Very homey feel. Tried the crab cake sandwich, lobster bisque, and prime dip and all were delicious! Service was quick and they were all very nice.

For a first time try, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, staff is the country southern charm and so sweet. Service is great walk in find a table and they will bring you everything. Ambiance was wonderful. If you were to have a conversation you will not be drowned out by loud music. I had the California Melt, Oh!!! So yummy the food taste anything like the melt it's a definitely try something new every time you come in.

We went here for brunch on Labor Day while visiting Southern Pines/Pinehurst. The Croque sandwich was what both of we're sold on when picking out a restaurant. With Canadian bacon, different cheeses, an English muffin, and an egg on top, it was an easy choice. And so delicious! Unfortunately, they were out of home fries but the fresh fruit was good. Our waitress was very sweet and i really like how the place was decorated. The patio would have been nice to sit at if there had been more tables, but it's also a small bistro so we will just have to come back! Service was a little slow but they were also pretty steady, to be fair. If you're in the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area, this is definitely a cute place for brunch---also, they have bottomless mimosas. If you need a push.

Sept 2022 menu - no longer serving lobster roll

Meh. Not much of a varied selection. Almost all of the sandwiches have a garlic aioli and my husband can't handle garlic (I got it on the side so I could add it to my sandwich myself, and it was very garlic-y). I came here specifically for the lobster roll (one of the items available on an old Yelp menu post) but they've replaced it with a Maryland crab roll.

Staff are cheerful and friendly. Food is very good. Hubby had the country eggs Benedict and practically wiped the plate clean. He said their hollandaise is almost as good as mine! I had the their version of the croque and it was delicious! Super rich and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfasts come with rosemary potatoes or fruit. Our first time here and it won't be our last! Highly recommend.

To expensive for what they serve, small portions and long wait. Better of going somewhere else.

The food here is average and the service is horrible. Management should either learn to staff better or find more competent employees.

I had the waffles they were very dense. The maple syrup was adequate. The space is rather cold and uninviting

At most 8 oz but given what a terrible cut it was irellevant. It was ordered medium rare and it came back medium to well but it was so thin it almost did not matter. It was also smothered with pepper kernals which made it worse. Definitely one of the worst steaks i have ever eaten in my entire life of 67 years. That includes supermarket steaks. Next the whipped potatoes were cold and hard. I guess at some point they were whipped? The $3 surcharge for the creamed spinach was also cold and had no taste. If this were a $10 Food Lion steak i would have been disappointed but for $65 the restaurant ahould be shut down. To top it off, the server who i had to call over as he never checked on dinner saw the steak and agreed. Yet, the restaurant did nothing to cure the issue and to add insult to injury added their 20% tip to the meal since we had a large group. DEPLORABLE!!!! This was absolutely disgraceful how the restaurant could serve a fatty small veiny, tastless piece of $65 steak and not apologize and try to cure it in any fashion. ZERO ACKNOWLEDGMENT. ....but.....they did a great job of making sure the credit card charge went through!!!

What was to be a quick lunch turned into a fine dining experience…read more We most definitely did not expect the wonderful meal that was to come! Let's start with the location: located right off a main road, Wolcott's is situated in a beautiful homelike building that fits in seamlessly with the feel of the area. It is upscale and classy looking from the exterior, with nice landscaping, deep blue and white features. Walking in the place feels very chic but comfortable. There is a bar and indoor seating, along with a lovely covered porch for dining. We came at a "late lunch" time and received great service (would rate it perfect had she refilled our tea). She was helpful, answered our questions, and made us feel very at home and welcome. Wonderful! Then came the fun! The FOOD! So if you don't know me, I travel the country and eat a LOT of good food. I've also deckhanded for offshore fishing guides and worked at a seafood market... so when I start off by saying the Lobster Bisque was out of this world... I mean it! The lobster bisque was one of the most delicious things I've eaten. The flavor of the lobster was the main feature with rich butter tones and the perfect blend of salty. I ate every bite possible, and I don't do that. My partner ordered the Chicken Kiev. It was beautifully crispy and moist. It came out piping hot and my partner greatly enjoyed it. I tried a bite and it was really good. The lobster Mac n cheese was full of actual lobster bites but I felt like the creaminess you seek with Mac n cheese wasn't there, it was very runny and didn't hold. The flavor was good but the sauce didn't back up calling it Mac n cheese. Now for the dish that was a challenge to win me over: today's special included a Reuben. I am a Reuben connoisseur... I have eaten them all over the country and I will say this was very good. The pastrami had beautifully savory flavor to it, the bread was perfectly crisp (a huge pet peeve of mine!), and the cheese and sauce was beautifully melted and delicious. While I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, it was extremely good! The thing that won me over on that plate was most definitely the French fries! Holy smokes they had salt, they had flavor, they were crisp but some still squishy (JUST HOW I LIKE!) the parm and seasoning was just perfect. Omg they were good.

Good experience. Definitely try this place…read more Plan for 2 hours. Not a negative or positive- just an observation. Bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts = $175 not including tip. Complimentary biscuits were not fully cooked - still doughy. Waitstaff said they were "waiting for the biscuits to cook" - totally understandable, but wait 3 more minutes so you don't serve uncooked dough. This is a time management thing for the kitchen: 5:00 reservations = put biscuits in the oven no later than 4:40. Escargot was good. Disappointed that our dirty/empty appetizer plates stayed all over the table so long. This is the difference between "fine dining" & a typical restaurant. Utensils used for appetizers should be removed & replaced for main meal. Just another little detail that sets apart "price is worth it" & "why'd I pay that much?" Steak frites were good. Lamb was good. Desserts were good. Cacao nibs were entirely too hard - I thought I was eating pieces of nut shells. Not enjoyable. Waitress was very friendly, but we did get the feeling that we weren't regulars, so it was ok to not pay attention to us (like remove dirty dishes).
