The property was gorgeous, the room was spacious yet still felt cozy and had the perfect view of the harbor (across the street!) The inn keepers were so warm, kind and helpful. Especially Ryan, possibly the sweetest person I've ever met. And THE BEST breakfast. They even left me a card on my birthday which was so thoughtful- I was on a solo trip for my 30th. The location was ideal for me. It is off the island so you drive about an hour to get to most of Acadia but the drive is so stunning and goes by fast. MUCH preferred to some noisy, packed hotel in Bar Harbor. Trust me on that. Plus, the night sky is way more breathtaking without all the lights from town. And it's a few minutes from the Schoodic part of the park which is perfect for catching the sunset after a long day of exploring. there are also so many perfect little local spots to eat at right up the road (but be warned, things close early around here!) Will definitely be coming back. Thanks again for being my home away from home on the best birthday adventure I could imagine.

There was garbage on the front porch and outside our room and an overgrowth of weeds (not native wild, just unattended walkway weeds) which took away from the BnB ambiance. There wasn't a blind in the window in the bathroom just sheer curtains which to me is the most intimate room so we had to use a couple of my dresses for privacy. There was a coffee maker in the room but upon use we realized it only had decaf and when explained to the caretaker she did not resolve the issue by giving us regular coffee her response was just "oh". The bathtub had not been cleaned as we noticed there was hair all over and dirt in it. Very disappointed as we really hoped for a romantic stay :(

We chatted with Dianne for around 20-30 minutes and she is a wonderful person. Very kind and social. She said we, as is everyone else, are welcome to hang out for as long as you want.
