Kiddie cone of Smores ice cream

I'm obsessed with the Salt Shop!! I've been 3 times and I already can't wait to go again! Their ice cream is soooo good - I'm a huge fan of the Campfire Smores flavor & my dad loves the blueberry flavor. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The shop is small and tends to have a line, but I have never waited too long! Highly recommend!

Perfect treat on a summer night

Cute shop in town to get a sweet treat or two. We were thrilled (& surprised) it was open til 9pm (summer hours).

We really enjoyed the salted caramel (nice crunch bits and not too Caramel sweet) and roasted coconut (great texture). There are seats outside and tables on the side. Great to sit down and cool down with some ice cream. Our dog got some pup ice cream and treats too! So sweet and he thanks them !

I had a delicious brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. My husband had the peanut butter pie. We enjoyed both!

    AMAZING. COFFEE ICE CREAM.

Congratulations on three weeks of business, guys! Food here is PHENOMENAL. So we're a big party of 11 people. We ended up in the area to do some kayaking on vacation (We're from Virginia + N/S Carolina!) and we actually stumbled in here unintentionally because the bakery we were looking for closed... indefinitely hahaha. The Salt Cafe impressed us ALL with delicious food, extremely friendly and personable service, and a SUPER CUTE and welcoming environment. Not a single one of us found a negative thing to say :) We were so impressed by the coffee ice cream that we ordered six cones and several treats. Everything is made with exceptional care and attention to flavors. Everyone we spoke to are incredible people. This establishment has definitely left its mark on us and we can't wait to come back! Wishing you a lifetime of success and prosperity! Keep up the great work!

Fantastic sandwiches ($15), coffee and ice cream at this shop. Friendly staff too! We took our sandwiches on the road and ate at a beach on our way to Bass Head Lighthouse.

This is truly one of the best breakfast places I've ever been to. Everything was exceptional -- the Eggs Benedict, tartines, Turkish eggs, fresh bakery items, and all the different superb coffee selections. Every meal was fresh, unique, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and relaxing, with friendly service that made us feel at home every time we walked in. Clark Point Cafe became one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Acadia's quiet side!

They were fine, not the freshest bagels I've had, but they had a good amount of cream cheese, just okay overall. The croissant was large and nicely toasted, likely not baked in-house (gave off Costco croissant vibes), but it came with a really tasty berry spread. The blueberry scone, however, wasn't great. Not a fan of the texture or flavor on that one. For coffee, I tried the dirty chai and a regular drip coffee, both solid and satisfying. But the real showstopper was the lavender latte. I'm obsessed. It was fragrant, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Easily my favorite part of the visit. I also had the BLT sandwich and the smoked salmon tartine. Both were delicious. You could tell the same ingredients (pickles, veggies, capers) were used across multiple items, but it still worked well and tasted fresh. Lastly, I ordered the Dutch baby pancake. The presentation was lovely, and it was freshly made, but the flavor was just okay, I've had better. The overall experience was really fun. People around us were checking out my food and even asked for recommendations. The staff also acknowledged our spread, which made it feel even more welcoming.

We stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner during our Acadia vacation based on a recommendation from a co-worker and we are very glad we did. I had the fish sandwich with fries and a specialty cocktail made with bourbon, ginger beer and honey (I forget the name). The fish sandwich came for way more than enough perfectly cooked haddock and a crunchy and delicious beer-batter crust. The fries we excellent, too (they can so easily be bland and boring, but these were not!) The cocktail was ice-cold (perfect for this hot summer day) and delicious, if a little sweet. My partner had the Mediterranean Plate which came with Grilled Flat Bread, Hummus, Tzatziki, Marinated Cucumber Salad, Marinated Olives, and Feta. It's a breakfast & lunch cafe that values using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. We stopped for lunch and ordered the Vegplant (V) and Bahn Mi (v) sandwiches. The Vegplant had an eggplant spread, roasted vegetables, and tabouleh on focaccia. The vegan Bahn Mi had tofu, pickled vegetables, greens, miso spread, and cilantro on a baguette. Both sandwiches were excellent and we ordered a couple of iced chais--they were house made and among the best in Maine. It's counter service, and the patio seating was just what we were looking for on a warm summer day in June. We went back the next morning for breakfast and found it to be a little trickier--according to the person behind the counter, the only vegan breakfast item was the hash brown. I had the yogurt parfait--it was as it was described on the menu and just okay--I generally prefer fresh fruit--it had a fruit preserve, which was just okay--maybe it needed more. The hash brown was made of shredded potatoes and was what you would expect. Overall, from a vegetarian/vegan perspective this is a solid 5 star lunch spot, and I love what they're doing here.
