    Choices of tap beers
    Kelly L.

Visited this taproom with a couple of friends and loved it! Loved the atmospheres and ambiance here. The seating is spacious it doesn't feel crowded even when it's busy. They have a wide range of draft beer choices on tap, and we all loved our drinks. My personal favorite is the SteepleJack Tropical Pils which is pretty light with a fruity note. I usually don't have much expectations on food in taprooms but the pizza here was amazing! We got a burrata pizza and it was freshly made & baked in the oven. It was crispy & just overall delicious! Would definitely come back again!

Tried here at Trailhead a couple times and between the two visits, it's just ok. Nothing bad, but nothing great or memorable to set it apart from say... Ballard pizza Co. On both visits I got pies and some drinks. Beers and the selection they have is OK, but again, this place is surrounded by breweries. The thing that sets it apart is the pizza, or the ability to get food whilst drinking that isn't a food truck. Well how's the pizza...? You guessed it. Just ok. A decent selection but it's wood fired. Not very saucy or cheesy though. On the latest visit our server...just seemed like he had ants in his pants or something. He spoke real fast and just overall seemed hurried like he was ready to go. It was a bit awkward. Maybe it was me. Either way Trail head is a little quieter than the rest of the drinking spots in the area and welcomes parties of 4+ so you can easily come for that usually without much wait, but beyond that it's pretty average here to me.

Yum! This place has great pizza! It is New york style thin crust pizza with lots of different options for toppings. The pies are not huge so its good to order a salad or side if sharing the pizza. I would order 2 pies for sure if there were more than 2 people or if you are both extra hungry! The drinks options also include cocktails here which is great because I love a good cocktail. I tried the Smash which includes gin, citrus, and basil. It was nice and herbal just the way I like it. They also have 28 rotating beers on tap! For the pizza we shared the Cicero pizza that comes with a lot of Italian meats. It was delicious! But all the pizzas sound good honestly. I also ordered the Caesar salad and it was a nice size with fresh crunchy lettuce and lots of parm. The dressing was excellent and it even comes with 2 whole anchovies on top, which I didn't love but definitely adds a salty flavor.

Wonderful gourmet root beer on tap here!

I went to a fairly new brewery next door and decided to duck in here for a light snack and to check out their tap list. The tap list for beverages is huge. I went with something I don't often get but almost always enjoy and got a craft root beer on tap from one of the local craft beer breweries in the area. The root beer was wonderful! You are starting to see more and more at select breweries that they also brew root beer. It definitely is a gourmet spin to this sofa often with very taste bud pleasing results. For my light snack I got the pickled vegetables from the appetizer section. Nice selection of various kinds of veggies all pickled. Some that I didn't even think would make good pickling but great tasting all the same!

Some of the best pizza I've had. After we landed in Seattle our first stop was LUNCH since we were starving. We opted to go to Trailbend and I'm so glad we did. It's located in such a great neighborhood with other taprooms nearby. Their bar has a huge selection of rotating taps. I opted for a sour and then a cider and both were delicious. But let's get to the important part: the pizza! We ordered three pizzas - the new Cascades pizza which had pesto - Enigma (without prosciutto) - garlic herb oil, mozzarella, provolone, egg, lemony arugula, pecorino, pistachio - Chelan - garlic herb oil, mozzarella, provolone, mixed mushroom, pecorino HOLY CRAP this was all delicious. The crust is so good and the ingredients were fresh and went so well together. We also got some apps: their garlic boat and the pretzel knots. I might continue dreaming about these pretzel knots for years to come. The space is so industrial and cool and the service was top notch. Can't wait to be back!

Great happy hour menu with perfect portions! Good location for hitting up multiple spots! Really nice indoor/outdoor seating.

After spending the day relaxing in the sun, Trailbend was a great place to get some food. Vegetarian friendly, there are many options for everyone in your group. Outdoor and indoor seating available with a large selection of beers, wine and cider on tap. Yum! stop by and enjoy.

    Buffalo wings

Whatever you do, do not order the wings. They must have been the worst wings of my life. Small, and no amount of sauce could cover the taste of old pasta expiry date chicken. We didn't eat much of them, despite being drunk and hungry. These also looked questionably cooked. Just a terrible experience. Drink here only.

    Seasonal burrata
    Alexis M.

Came here on a sunday afternoon and the place was pretty empty. The service was great and the seasonal burrata was delicious. It had rainer cherries in it and it came with a side of bread (which seemed like it was pizza dough brushed with yummy seasoning). Huge beer selection. Will be returning for sure

    Is this business dog friendly?

Dogs are NOT allowed on the patio. We were unfortunately turned away. Totally get that dogs aren't allowed inside but not being allowed on the patio is a big bummer for a Ballard taproom/brewery.

There is a food truck on site, but it was closed when we visited. No worries, though, you can bring outside food, which is perfect since there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. I asked the bartender if they brew at this location, and he said they've moved all brewing to a different location in Seattle, but it's still super fresh and tasty beer all around. This is a spot worth visiting in Seattle or getting together with a large group for a few drinks. Plenty of choices for everyone!

Random barrels and umbrellas, as well as maybe 10 or so picnic tables across the two outdoor patios (dog-friendly). Saw they also have private event space off to the side. Plenty of indoor seating as well.

I believe that they are right. I ordered the half chicken, Nashville Hot, cornbread, mashed potatoes and gravy and the collard greens. My go-to HH cocktail here is the Vieux Carré, but I like herbal sweet & bitter, so it's right up my alley. Currently there are five HH cocktail options and they are $7... hard to find in Seattle! I've also had the rainier & rye for $9- the rye is great, forgot to ask what kind it is. I've had a few other HH drinks, which were alright, but these stand out the most. As for food, I've only tried the spicy Seattle dog, and I would get it again. The hot dog is cut up & shaped weird (see photo), but it tastes wonderful. I heard the fried chicken is great so I'll try that next time. Also, I was excited to see that they had buckeyes on the menu, but they didn't have any when we visited. Inside is spacious and woodsy, & outside there is an enjoyable patio. Servers are nice and seem happy to be there, which always elevates my experience anywhere. I definitely recommend coming to Triangle Spirits for Happy Hour (available daily 3-5pm, dine-in only).
