Delicious, GIANT fish sandwich--perfect to split with someone. I cut mine in half and still couldn't finish! The sweet tea is perfect and the fries are very good as well. My kids raved over the BBQ pork sandwich and my husband loved his philly steak. Great little place with outdoor seating, which was perfect since we had our dog with us. Had their famous huge fish sandwich. Really good pieces of fish. Next time I'm driving through and stop, I'll bring my hot sauce or some creole seasoning for the fish. Cool little roadside place in the middle of a very small town. You order at the window and they call you when the food is ready. You can eat at the picnic tables outside or take it to go. I'm not sure if there's anything on the menu that isn't fried other than the burgers (not saying that's necessarily a bad thing). I had the cheeseburger and it was decent. The fries were also just average, nothing special. The fish sandwich is huge. I thought about getting one but I'm glad I didn't because there's no way I'd be able to eat it all. My friends live down the road from this place and I've driven by it navy times on my way to their house. And they've asked every time if I've eaten there yet. This is a little roadside eatery that has the hugest fish sandwich I have ever seen. Finding a good fish sandwich in coastal Florida should be easy, but I have searched for decades now with uncountable disappointments. DJ's Deck in Port Orange was my go-to favorite for years, then I discovered this belly-buster. They must pile on at least a full pound of fried fish on a large bun that is hot and tasty. My minor complaint is the tartar sauce is bland and even when I ordered 2 extra cups, it wetted up the bun and made me eat it with a fork. The lettuce used is disappointing with big chunks of white core pieces thrown in, so lift up your bun before you indulge. You'll sit outside on picnic tables in a simple environment. You will see dozens of locals coming by to pick up to-go orders during lunchtime and also eating at the tables. The fish sandwich is 8 bucks and well worth it, but if they added quality lettuce, tomato, and good tartar sauce, I would be a lifetime customer. read more
