Decided to go to counter and eat outside to enjoy the Ormand beach ambiance. I had the gator tail poboy sandwich and it was absolutely amazing! This place is on a premium piece of real estate that makes eating there feel uniquely coastal. The food was okay, I got the scallop meal with the lemon caper sauce with a side of mashed potatoes and Parmesan green beans. I am an AVID scallop lover and these were underdone, not raw but not done. Flavors were okay in general but many folks in my party, who are seasoned seafood enjoyers, found their meals to not meet what they would have expected. If I could give this restaurant more than five stars I would. This restaurant is beautifully situated right across the street from the ocean. It shares a parking lot with the Topaz Motel and there is also street parking. If I were local this would be a favorite haunt of mine. The staff are nice, knowledgeable, honest when you ask a question and just the best. We had a wonderful meal and all of us enjoyed our food and dessert. The food is plentiful and delicious. The lobster bisque was so good. The crab cakes are some of the best I've had. The key lime pie is homemade and so good! This is great restaurant and worth the money. After exploring Washington Oaks we decided to stop for something to eat on our way back to our Airbnb. The restaurant is located in an old hotel and has quite a bit of seating. Check out the catch of the day and decide how you would like it. I decided on a fish sandwich which was a challenge to eat with the thick meaty fish but it was really good. The buns are amazing too. Wow! The restaurant is under renovation but they still managed to pull off an amazing meal. They currently only have outdoor seating and a limited menu but the outdoor heaters and the incredible food still make it worth your while. The service is superb. You know they are working hard as they are wearing shorts and it's chilly in February. We had smoked fish dip to start and then three of us had fish tacos and one had the cod. We were all raving. Hubs & I were staying in Flagler Beach for our 32nd wedding anniversary in December of 2023. We'd brought Gilligan with us so I was looking for dog-friendly dining options. Flagler Beach did not disappoint! I really had a hard time narrowing down our options as nearly every full-service restaurant in the area offered outdoor seating and welcomed our four-legged family member. Flagler Fish Company offered a dog-friendly covered patio with a very short wait on a Friday night. I started with the Sangria. It was small, but strong & had a very rich flavor! I also ordered the Lobster Bisque & loved it. Lots of lobster bits and the bisque had a great flavor. For my meal, I chose the fried unicorn fish. It had a crispy fry with light flaky meat - so good! Served with my fish was a side of asiago potatoes. These small baked potatoes were stuffed with cheese, and so tasty. My meal also came with sautéed spinach, which I loved. The spinach was sprinkled with nuts on top for crunch, however this was a very heavy side & I could only have a couple of bites. Please don't misunderstand... it was incredibly good, but very rich. Hubs enjoyed his oysters, too. Our dinners were great anniversary meals, and Gilligan had a good time as well. We'll definitely return on our next visit to Flagler Beach! read more

The spinach side was delicious as well. We've been to this restaurant every time we visit Palm Coast. This is now located in a new location. Not too crazy about the new space. It has its pros and cons. It's got a view and it's got a funky vibe all good, but the space is dingy and tables and surfaces were sticky. The main dining rooms were very noisy so we sat outside. The volume was way better out there. I think the sound bounced off the walls inside. Shout out to Brad, our server, very attentive and he was efficient and checked in without being obnoxious. Visited Flagler Fish Company on a recent trip to the area. It was my first time in and I was pleasantly surprised! The food and service were both great. Brad was my awesome waiter. He, and the gentleman that delivered my food to the table, were both great at getting my order out accurately, quickly, and hot and also checking in. I had a grilled red drum sandwich and delicious cheesy grit cake and of the biggest slice of key lime pie I've ever seen for dessert! Highly recommend all. Have been a few times and it never disappoints. I didn't get a picture of them, but they have the best crab cakes I have ever eaten. Filled with crab and not too much breading. Lightly pan fired, they were delicious. I had the blacked fish sandwich and my boyfriend had the A1A. Both were incredible. I love the thin crispy fries. Not crazy about the vibes at this location compared to the original. Excited for the renovation to finish up. Patio was dog friendly, we brought our two pups. read more

Where do I start. We went out for a special occasion. There were 5 of us. We sat inside , thought it may be more comfortable, due to hot temperatures outside. It was not . Heat does not usually bother me , but everyone was hot in the restaurant! We were there for a birthday. Which sadly turned out miserable.we ordered several apps and drinks. Drinks were good, apps were ok. Tuna was not great, just ok. Shrimp cocktail was ok, and fish dip, some liked some did not. But they gave us tons of potato chips which no one ate. At least they were crunchy, and not soggy. Dinners were also ok. My son got blackened grouper , he said it was good my husband also got grouper and he liked it , too. My daughter got a 42.00 dollar lobster roll , which was not on a roll, more of an open faced piece of bread! Very disappointing for 42.00 dollars . She got red skin potato salad , and so did my husband. They both liked it. My mom and I got the fish of the day which was cobra. It was not great, I wanted to try something different, should have gone with the grouper! Our French fries were way, way too salty!!!! Spinach was ok , nothing fancy, also a little too salty. My son and husband are / were commercial fisherman so we know fresh fish! That's why we were not thrilled with Tuna app! We will not be back to Flagler fish company . I stopped into Flagler Fish Company looking for some fresh seafood on a beautiful evening in Flagler Beach. Most of the outside tables were taken, so I sat at the bar with Ashtyn and Desiree. Ashtyn recommended the fish tacos and a side of cole slaw. While I waited, Desiree recommended a light craft beer from Jacksonville. Delicious! The tacos came out and as you can see in the photo, it was an epic taco with large chunks of white flaky fresh fish with a side of purple cabbage and onion slaw. Then best slaw I've ever tasted. The tacos were on spot and tasted great. We sat and talked and I brought up their local made fish dip. Desiree suggested I taste the clam dip (also house made). She brought some out on a plate with a few homemade kettle chips. Wow! Great. Desiree said she mixes the clam and fish dip together for taste. I'll try that next time. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Flagler's today. If you're in or near Flagler Beach Florida, this place is a must stop for fresh made food and fresh seafood. We ordered Carolyn's A Catch, which is your choice of catch of the day on a house made bun with sauteed spinach, caramelized onions, aoli and sliced tomatoes. There were many fresh catch options to choose from and perhaps we should have tried the fresh caught Unicorn fish since we'd never seen this before, but we love fresh Grouper and so opted for this. We also ordered their house made (lightly) smoked fish dip. Everything was so fresh and delicious and portions were generous. The fish sando was flavorful and juicy and included a large thick piece of grouper. It comes with a choice of sides, and I chose the savory grit cake with cheese, which was also perfectly cooked and included tasty morsels of corn. The fish dip was a large serving with a plate full of house made potato chips. As advertised, it was lightly smoked & the sodium level was perfect (so often other restaurants tend to over salt it). Amazing restaurant. It is one of the best fish restaurants in the nation. The grouper blackened with the horseradish sauce is off the charts. I love sautéed spinach - there's is as good as pappadeaux- and that is a huge compliment from me. My wife had the Mahi Mahi in butter and white wine sauce. Nothing short of amazing. So good! Out of 6 of us , 4 of us was served cold food. My salmon & spinach was cold so could not eat it. Server offered to get another one but I chose to take it home & heat it up for dinner. Will never go back after I saw the thick dust in the air vents as I was leaving. The place definitely needs a thorough cleaning!!!!! Windows & walls are dirty also.
