The Barber Academy certificate of completion

If you're considering enrolling in a barber school, I highly recommend The Barber Academy in San Jose. The experience has been nothing short of amazing, and it has provided me with the skills and confidence I needed to succeed in this profession. There are a bunch of walkins to practice on ! A special shout-out to my instructor, Chris. He truly stands out as one of the best teachers I've had. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but his passion for the craft and dedication to his students is unmatched. Chris creates an engaging learning environment, offering individualized feedback and making sure every student feels supported. He's patient, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we all understand the material and excel in our practice. Kev and Steph are great instructors as well always willing to share their knowledge and experience so that we can apply them to our haircuts. Thanks to The Barber Academy , I feel fully prepared to step into the world of barbering, and I couldn't have asked for better mentors. If you're looking to hone your skills and learn the trade of barbering I would definitely check out The Barber Academy in SJ.

Came at opening 10am on Saturday and all barbers were already taken. Super small parking lot in the back with a few spots were also filled. The wait was 35-45min as a walk in. You can also make an appointment but it would be barber specific. Most haircuts average at least 30min to cut from what I observed and mine took 1hr+ which is understandable as these are students. My barber was really easy to work with and the cut turned out 7/10. For $5 before tip, this is well worth it if you have time or luck out on getting a good barber and just making appointments with them in the future.

Mondo in the cuts gave me a fungus from his clippers it started in my neck the. Started spreading through my body

My review is long overdue, I graduated the IT support…read morespecialist role back in 2022. i was part of the first IT class the school had it was brand new when I was there not sure how.It is now, but when I was there the experience was a joke and I didn't realize it was until I actually started working as a Tech. Learned pretty quickly, I was completely unprepared for real world IT. I knew the basics when it came to networking, Gpu,cpu, mobo, ssd you know all the components you would expect to learn about But the thing is, I barely knew anything Because they really taught us anything. Just enough to take our money The rest of the coursework was solely based off the comptia book and a few spreadsheets they gave to us but that was it ! , I can't speak for how it is now ? But if you are the class of 2022 or 2023 ? Goodluck you were scammed lol ! fortunately I managed to make it work and started from the bottom worked myself to higher positions along the way I'm now a Production Tech ( industrial ) no thanks to Cet I had to make it happen that school is not going to help you, you would be better off buying the comp T book online. Special shout out to Renaldo ! He was the first I.T teacher I had And was actually very knowledgeable, As far as the field goes unfortunately it did not last long and he was let go for reasons Not explained ? My second teacher was an idiot I doubt he could even build tbh, Just took our own money and ran As far as I understand it only a couple of us In my class actually stuck with the field the rest went and looked for other careers. It's sad, but I honestly can't blame them For the lack of real education, we had at the school. Do not go here For I.T !!!!! You can learn online for as little as $300 ! You can even just learn off youtube tbh At least the basics

There were two young males standing at the front desk and the young receptionist was LOVELY! Very welcoming and answered questions we didn't even know to ask. She gave us directions to the right campus and we were on our way. Once we got to the auto mechanics building, the instructors and students were friendly and helpful. They spent about 45 min with us and showed us around. Its clear they know what they are doing, with hands on experience and appear to be connected to the area for future jobs after the program!

What's advertised: * A structured, beginner-friendly bartending course *Professional environment *Hands-on training with proper materials *Certification upon completion What I actually experienced: The class was held inside a storage unit. Not a bar. Not a classroom. A storage room (see photos). The environment was dirty and unprofessional, and one of the juices provided had visible mold, which is completely unacceptable for anything involving food or beverages. Several basic ingredients (like cranberry and orange juice) were missing, so we were told to substitute with whatever was available. The class was supposed to run from 7pm-11pm but ended early around 10:20pm, and there was no legitimate certification test, despite that being advertised. Most of the time was spent casually making drinks with very little structured instruction. This did not feel like a real training course. It gets worse: Photos taken during the class were later edited with what appears to be an AI-generated bar background to make it look like students are learning in a professional bar setting. That is NOT what the actual environment looks like. On top of that, the certificate I received was issued with an incorrect date from a previous year, which raises concerns about the legitimacy of the certification itself. To be clear, the instructor was kind but the overall experience does not reflect a $440 professional program in any way. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before spending their money.
