They are a team that works together, so you never want for anything. We always have a hard time picking a drink. The bar specials are always delicious and very well made. My husband love the ever changing craft beer draft menu. The food is fantastic. The French onion soup, the ribs, the fries, the shrimp Caesar salad... just to name a few... and don't forget about dessert... we have been there a bunch these last few months and continue to be wowed every time we go. Legend has it that The Barn lacks a sign because it predates a prohibition on eating and drinking establishments in that part of Wyckoff. They were allowed to stay in business but could have no indication on Sicomac Ave that they were there. There's only the light in the tree and if you miss it, you might be driving around for quite a while. Not sure if it's true but it really is a cool story and why else isn't there a sign? The food at The Barn is secondary. There are any number of places I could go and eat better; cheaper, too. Drinks are quite good but also not cheap. You go to The Barn because it's a cool place with a great vibe. I have been going there for years. I've yet to have an exceptional meal, nor have I ever had a bad one. I love the low ceilings, ancient wood booths, bar and names carved in tables, many of which were done long before I was born. It takes me back to a simpler time and for that reason, I love going there. All too often we review the places on Yelp based on food, price and service; and of course we should. But sometimes there's more it. In the case of The Barn, there's a lot more to it. If you've never been, it's absolutely worth a visit. If you have and it's been a while, hit them up again. Best ribs in the area! Went here for a birthday. It's a very nice restaurant which is a little bit hard to fine. I would make sure you drive slow approaching the entrance. I always recommend getting the appetizer of ribs instead of the full rack because it fills you up. Highly recommend their zucchini fries and wide arrangement of beers read more

Having not been here in 45 years, I wanted to see if it was still open. I was pleasantly surprised that it was. In fact, this place was opened as a Speak Easy in the 20's. My last time here was in the 70's. The place is almost the same. Post and beam barn with a railing for bar stools. That was cut down and they actually have bar stools. They also have central heat. My last visit there, the potbelly stove in the middle of the room WAS the heater. You froze sitting anywhere except next to it. They have a great choice of beer and wine. They also serve food. Unfortunately, I just went there to check it out and have a drink. Next visit, I plan to eat there. The place was crowded with a waiting list on a Sunday night. It's hard to find. Look for a lighted flagpole on Wyckoff Ave. There are no signs. Its a residential neighborhood. Worth the trip. read more

Going to this place is like going back in time. It's an old barn. It's cozy and intimate. The staff is friendly. The food is good. They have a diverse menu. It's a great place to grab a burger or a steak. My mom loves this place. I think she loves the nostalgia of going there. I've been there a few times because it's close and the food is good but I don't think it's as good as my mom describes. There is nothing special about the food but I have no complaints. read more

Simple night turns into big ordeal with bartender... When you get there, they provide a temperature check, but results are not accurate. My reading was 91.2 and my cousin was unable to get a reading yet we were both allowed to enter to dine. Complete Illusion of COVID safety procedures, most likely to stay open. The waiter was great, but experienced an extremely confrontational bar tender and staff when attempting to close out. Felt very exploited during the whole experience, even though my cousin and I were paying costumers. Will not be going back to this establishment. I don't recommend this place for anyone who's trying to enjoy a peaceful evening or a relaxing atmosphere. The food wasn't that great either, but I have to recommend the bbq ribs if you do decide to waste your time and hard earned money here. read more

Thoroughly unimpressed. It's very difficult for the owner cause the parking situation is very odd due to it being in a residential neighborhood. Didn't get to go inside the barn I'm sure it's pretty unique judging from the pictures. I don't want to go and on over the food but I will just round it out by saying that I didn't feel the food justifies the prices at all. Literally a pile of greasy greasy food with pretty much zero vegetables unless you order a salad. It's a pub and so of course you have to expect pub food. But I've had better pub food and would not eat anything here other than a beer and an appetizer. But it's unlikely I'll ever return. There's nothing here other than a cool old barn. The wait staff is off the hook. But let's talk about the food. You must try the ribs...fall off the bone and slathered on bbq sauce was a delight. The Bison burger was cooked to perfection and I had it on beautifully toasted pumpernickel bread..YUM. My husband had the Teriyaki chicken sandwich which was moist and tender with a delicious hint of teriyaki. But the finale of rice pudding was to die for!!! Please do yourself a favor and come on in! We were a couple of 4 having dinner Saturday, Feb 12. We have been to The Barn numerous times. We paid our bill which was $330. We were finishing our drinks when the owner came to our table told us to hurry up. Obviously they are more Interested in turning tables than having their customers enjoy themselves. The food here is ok. The beer list is ok. The kids menu does not include the drink so they charge extra. The prices are a bit high for what you get but what really got me yesterday was that we were charged 75 cents for bbq sauce. Are you serious I just paid 11$ for my martini and 21$ for my overcooked tuna and my very blah vegetable medley and you are really gonna charge me 75 cents for bbq. read more
