Salad with chicken Grilled Chicken Piallard Salad

I went there with five of my girlfriends for lunch. They offer a full brunch menu, breakfast menu on one side and a lunch menu on the other side. Lots of great choices like omelettes, French toast, eggs salads, burgers sandwiches. Something for everyone. We started off with a delicious pizza that we shared. Chef Arthur Toufayan came out to greet us. After that, we all ordered different things. My two friends shared a salad and burger, which they split for them. I had a kale salad with ahi tuna which was more than enough, actually couldn't even finish it. My other friends ordered another salad and were raving about the chicken and how delicious it was. Nice environment, casual very clean. I highly recommend it.

I went to Cafe Amici with some friends for brunch and it was truly a sweet experience. We had a lovely waitress and the service was quick, pleasant, and flawless. I got avocado toast with goat cheese and it was delicious! The vibes inside the cafe are perfect and quaint and it's not this large sterile looking brunch spot. Definitely more home-y which I love!

Id like to rate them 3.5 stars meaning the establishment, people, and food met expectations but did not have a wow factor. I went there with a couple of friends for brunch on - Sunday. Despite not having a reservation and intimate space, we were seated within 15 minutes. The service was quick, attentive, and informative. I felt that the French toast and omelette weren't much better than I could make at home.

This is the perfect spot for a lunch. It's adorable, the food is delicious and fresh. They also have pretty fantastic portion sizes. Zero complaints. I am drooling thinking about this place and can't wait to return on my next trip to the area!

This place deserves the 5 stars and a shout out! I took my Mom here earlier this week for a birthday lunch. It was perfect and I am so thankful!!! From the moment we walked in everyone was kind. The hostess was patient and instead of rushing us to the first open table she instead allowed my Mom to pick a seat and waited until it opened up. She was happy to accommodate the table choice. THANK YOU. Our waitress was attentive, also patient and the provided perfect balance of great service. My mom and I are a little particular and she totally accommodated our requests graciously. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE: EVERYTHING CAME OUT OF THE KITCHEN LIKE WE ASKED! BUT WAIT THERE IS EVEN MORE! THE FOOD IS BOMB! We had the hummus app - so good! - and both had turkey burgers. DELICIOUS! They are served with sweet potato fries which were also amazing! We ate and chatted and not once felt rushed or any type of way.She even brought us additional drinks at the perfect time.It was just a super nice experience. Atmosphere is clean, warm and comfortable. Food is excellent! Service was fabulous.Lately going out to eat is totally underwhelming. Food is over priced, service sucks and I'd rather just stay home than be disappointed. Amirite?!?Thank you, AMICI for restoring my faith in local food service industry and being stand out! We appreciate you and will definitely be back. Cafe Amici saved my Life, and it can save yours too 5/5

Adorable little spot that was perfect for brunch. Had the Buffalo chicken salad which was absolutely delicious and very filling. Service was lovely, ambiance is lovely, and overall just a great choice for an easy brunch/lunch. I look forward to coming back for dinner!

Cute cafe with a nice vibe. We shared the Mediterranean breakfast and French toast. Both dishes were super yummy! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant wasn't super packed, which I appreciated.

    Beet Salad

Terrific BYOB dining option. A varied and broad range of items on the menu. Food Review: TURKEY BURGER is OUTSTANDING! Tender and moist. A very generous portion. The mango chutney is a perfect complement to the burger. A must try instead of katsup. You will be pleasantly surprised. Sweet potato fries nicely fried. Also a geneous portion. MARGHERITA PIZZA. A geneous portion. Nicely seasoned with a fresh flavor of basil. VERY cheesy. (That is not my preference, just sayin) Could have been cooked a bit longer, crust not crusty and a little limp for the amount of cheese. BEET SALAD. I have to give them a ding on this item. It's called a Beet Salad but it's really an arugula salad with beets. Not a lot of goat cheese or pecans. Dressing was light and not overdone. It actually could have used a little more dressing. Greens and extras very fresh. My disappointment is I was expecting a Beet Salad with arugula....not an arugula salad with beets. Expensive at $17 for an arugula salad. But overall a good dining experience

An overall good experience this time from Cafe Amici. I ordered the Trofie and it was very good. The pasta was perfectly cooked with three shrimp and a decent amount of mushrooms. Only gripe was asking for bread and receiving two very small pieces for a $130 meal (with four entrees). Has bread become on par with gold?

It was on the quieter slower side for reservations which was more enjoyable. We started off with appetizers besides the table bread. The cheesy bread is a favorite compared to their normal bread. The Asian calamari from the specials list was not something I personally enjoyed as I'm not a teriyaki sauce person and the rings were a bit chewy. The ahi tuna everyone at my table seemed to enjoy as well. The clams casino were personally my favorite and I do wish we had ordered two of them as the clams were very small. Onto entrees most of us ordered some type of steak. Filet mignon, NY strip, or braised short rib. All were cooked to our perfect temperatures and well flavored. A bonus is that all entrees come with a salad, baked potato, or fries instead of having to order sides à la carte. The halibut oreganata was also delicious and a huge portion as well. I will say dessert was probably my least favorite part of the meal. The chocolate cake I had was just ehh it was extremely sugary and the vanilla ice cream tasted like breyers to me. The cookie dough cake was the best option our table chose as it was unique and well presented and not overly sweet at all. The coconut sorbet was alright but an extremely small portion for $12. The cannoli was also interesting and I would probably not order again as it tasted more meringue and sweet than the typical ricotta cannoli filling. Overall a good meal but we definitely could have changed the appetizers we ordered, and ordered no desserts. Our server Rolando was fantastic. We never had to ask for water, drinks to be filled, and he happily accommodated any questions or requests we had.

The restaurant is very pretty overall, though the interior is quite dim, making it difficult to read the menu without additional light. The tables were also placed fairly close together. Our server was polite and welcoming throughout the evening. We started with the Korean fried chicken and tuna tataki. The chicken was moist and coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. The tuna tataki was flavorful; however, the taro chips were very thin and tended to break easily when holding the tuna. For our main courses, we ordered the Icelandic cod, rigatoni, Freebird chicken, and a side of whipped potatoes. Dessert was the hazelnut chocolate crunch, which was a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the food was enjoyable. That said, the pricing felt more in line with a fine dining experience, while the atmosphere and service were closer to an upscale casual restaurant. Some small details, such as the whipped potatoes being served without a serving spoon, stood out. While minor, these details can make a difference, especially at this price point.

The bar staff kept running back and forth between the bar and another building, I'm guessing to grab bottles or restock. It was distracting, and I honestly wish they had just walked quickly instead of sprinting through the space. The bathrooms were also really tight and pretty filthy, which didn't help the overall feel. The food itself was fine, but everything tasted extremely salty. The hospitality was incredible. We went there for my birthday. All the staff knew it was my birthday and they also knew that I was eight months pregnant and wanted to make sure that I was comfortable. The food was exceptional. The wait staff was so nice and provided recommendations while not pushing any one dish. We got the focaccia, softshell crab, Peking duck and chicken liver for appetizers. The softshell crab was the best I've ever had, and I would come back to this restaurant for this alone. The Peking duck was juicy and tender with the most incredible slaw type salad underneath it. The focaccia with the butter was also phenomenal, the owner actually brought it out to us and we had a nice conversation with him and you can tell he just poured his heart and soul into this restaurant. The focaccia is definitely not an appetizer to be overlooked just because it is bread. While I couldn't have any of the chicken liver mousse, it looked stunning, and my husband said that it was incredible and so light and fluffy, and it was a massive portion. I look forward to when we come back when I'm not pregnant and I can eat it. For dinner I got the Arctic char, and my husband got the pork. The Arctic char was unbelievable. It was piping hot and literally just melted in my mouth with each bite and the side that came with it was a mix of asparagus, mushrooms, farro and I don't know what else, but it was fantastic if I could have that side on its own as well, I would order more. My husband's pork was crispy and delicious with another incredible slaw topping, and it was so massive he has to take home like a third of it for dessert. We had the lemon meringue tart for dessert, which was also incredible and so refreshing for a dessert. All of the food was outrageously fresh and just outstanding. This restaurant is our new favorite place and on the way out we even made a reservation for three weeks from now to come back. This is probably the best restaurant that I've eaten at in Ridgewood hands down and I'm so glad that they are in the area. The restaurant adds a new vibe with food that is so phenomenal to match. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area as a MUST try. Of course me and my husband will be going back in a few weeks and we can't wait.

The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable.
