We had the fluke fish tacos that were some of the best fish tacos I've ever tried, as well as their seasonal special - buffalo chicken soft shell crab (soft shell crab fried like buffalo chicken nuggets, that include a side of buffalo sauce). The food was excellent! We went on a Saturday night and they had live music. The place wasn't overly crowded and it was a really great for a summer date. If no one was allowed on the platform, that should have been enforced consistently. Instead, it felt like it was fine for women but not for men. What should have been a fun night was completely ruined by the way the situation was handled. Staff should know how to de-escalate situations without resorting to excessive force.

We paid through the restaurant's QR code system, received confirmation, and left. In the parking lot, our waitress and another employee followed my wife and accused us of not paying. She showed them the payment confirmation, but they still questioned her and asked her to take a picture of it. They caused a scene, leaving her embarrassed and harassed. The food and service weren't much better. Three out of four glasses had lipstick marks, and every plate had visible food residue. I contacted the restaurant afterward, but they never responded or acknowledged my message. We came for a nice family meal and left feeling upset and embarrassed. Completely unacceptable.

I will say that I think depending on what type of music is playing, this place draws a particular kind of crowd. On Saturday they were playing oldies so that's who showed up to listen. I would definitely go back if they had a band that was playing something a little more recent though! Note: this place is a little hard to find, and the wifi is weak (though they offer guest wifi which really helped us figure out how to get on the road to our next destination).
