What a great party idea! Party Xtreme Laser Tag hosted a competitive game of laser tag during one of the birthday parties I attended. They came with inflatable barriers to hide behind, the laser guns and the vests that you need to hit. There was a company rep that pretty much played referee and explained the purpose of the game simply and clearly. He stayed during the entire time and handled all the equipment and such. We use them at our church's Fall Festival every year and love them to pieces. They arrive on time, they set up in a timely fashion and they're clean-up is super well-done: no damage to the church lawn or anything. My husband usually works with the host from Party Xtreme and he's always impressed with how the host is able to accommodate those with special needs. The host clearly gives instruction and watches for good safety practices. I will say this much: they work better outdoors than indoors due to the light bouncing off of the walls and make it challenging to "hit" the target. In years past, we simply turned off the lights, but parents like to watch their kids. Last year we had it out on a grassy area and it worked very well. read more

I've now hired Party Extreme twice and I could not have been happier. Last year, we did a nerf gun party at a park and Russel was there early to set up and facilitated games for the kids which wasn't easy with 15 5/6 year olds. This year, my son wanted a Hot Wheels party. Russel came with four huge bins of tracks and hundreds of cars. He set up a crazy fun track in my garage and driveway. I booked Party Xtreme for my son's 12th birthday party and everyone LOVED it! the kids had a blast playing and even the adults. Ordering was a breeze, I did it online and was emailed a confirmation. (I added on an extra half hour which was perfect time). I also recieved a call a few days before hand to confirm the party. Our host arrived about 45 minutes early to ensrue everything was set up on time. I had a concern because I have several small children ages 4-6 as wel as older kids 10-13 so I spoke to the host and made sure all the smaller kids had an good amount of time to play as well. My son's 12th birthday party was a hit thanks to Party Xtreme's Laser Tag. I went online and ordered three hours in advance instead of the standard two-hour party since I wanted the kids to have extra fun. It was just the right amount of time for 12-13 year olds. Nobody was bored, but they wore themselves out by the third hour. Sweet! The package included on organizer who kept the laser tag party fun by changing the games every now and then. He arrived 40 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time to set up as promised. I was afraid that would be an issue after reading the bad review by Rebecca, so I called for a confirmation since I ordered online. I received a call a few days before the party and was reassured that he would be there. That was very much appreciated. After the third hour, the organizer spent some time packing and off he went. This is the second year in a row we've used this company for our school fundraiser. It's a demanding gig as there are about 130 young boys (K-5th grade) angling all at once to get back on the course. Both years they arrived with plenty of time for set up and were nice to both parents and kids the entire event. Very professional. We booked them regardless and were glad that we did so. To us, all that mattered was my son and our guests had fun using them. I used this company this passed Saturday and I was so very disappointed at the cost compared to services we received. Our guests arrived late and that's not on them, but even after the guest showed up, the staff that was "hosting" did absolutely nothing to group the kids to play. It turned out to be an every player to themselves, which meant that I paid for the barriers only to have them as very expensive decorations. The kids didn't used them but for a bit, and 30 minutes before my 2 hours were up the staff asks me what I want to do. I told them that the advertisement said they were going to play games with the kids and why didn't they, her response was that the kids showed up late and that they didn't go over to where they were to play... As if 7 yr olds are going to do that on their own. Laser Island, Pump it Up and Sky High Sports do a much better job at interacting with the kids and making the bday guest feel special and honored. This was a waste of money and would never recommend them at all. Do yourself a favor and don't hire this company, you're better off buying the nerf guns and bullets, and have the kids keep them as their party favor when the party is over, that would justify your expense instead of this! read more

I booked Party Xtreme for my son's 10th year birthday party. It was for 14 kids and I got the basic package for 2 hours and one host. The host was a nice guy, but it was his first time doing a Lazer tag party. He arrived well ahead of time to set up. When the kids started playing , we soon realized that all the guns were malfunctioning and none of them were working right. They didn't have any vests , just really junky guns. The host tried to reprogram the guns to no avail. There we were left with 14 kids and nothing to entertain them with for two hours!!!! my husband , the host and myself called the company multiple times and left massages and asked for help and advice. No one picked up the phone or got back to us , even though it was during their normal business hours. It was a total disaster. Thank god , there was a playground nearby and we took all the kids and played games till it was pick up time for the kids. Finally at the end when the two hours was up, someone from the company called back and apologized but that wasn't helpful when I had 14 kids and nothing to entertain them with for two hours. Party Xtreme came out for a church event today - Mother and son laser tag day. So much fun! Our coordinator was knowledgeable and pleasant, worked great with the kids of all ages (and the moms), and was very nice. He even helped out with other parts of the event that were not his job - he definitely went above and beyond (finding water for my family when they had all run out, helping to clean up a ball-pit area). I think the whole event went off without a hitch, and the laser tag was definitely the highlight. Russ was so good at adapting to our quick and changing routine to get all the kids time to play. He was fun with the kids and helped to make the experience a blast for everyone. The best part for us, was to the chance to sit back, relax and watch as those boys tired themselves out! I booked Party Xtreme more than a month and a half in advance for my son's 7th birthday, party was just last Saturday, of course the kids are happy because they are playing.But the 'party host' who was supposed to be active was just standing and not talking, there's no games, the kids were just running around shooting each other. That was not the deal, I was told for 2 hours they will have at least 7-10 games. For $260 - 14 guns / goggles and inflatables was it really worth it? I can just bring my own guns and have the kids run around for free! One of the kids got injured twice, he fell off one of the inflatables wearing the goggles, by accident got hit by the nerf ball (ball was harder, not the usual nerf bullets) bled and the 'party host' did nothing. I had to tell him to remind the kids no head shot! Service was really bad. I called many times to confirm, make sure to send someone good and a day before reminded them again, I was assured all the people who works for them are good. I have to give credit because the guy had to inflate and deflate those inflatables but that is part of his job. read more

I would give zero if it were possible to still post this review and warn any potential customers. Beware of booking and risking losing your money. My 12 year old son has stage 4 cancer. My younger son has been of course having a difficult time with my 12 year old and I always being away and in the hospital. My younger son requested a laser tag party at home for his birthday. I found this company online while in the hospital during the limited amount of time I had to devote to planning the party. I booked them online and put down a deposit 1 1/2 weeks before the party in order to be sure my younger son's wish would be fulfilled. I tried to call them first and was only able to leave a message. I then simultaneously put down the deposit, reserved the date and time and used the contact form to ask questions about the services offered. I got no response to the call or contact. I made the same attempt a couple of days later by phone and via the contact form. Again no response. 5 days before the party, still in the hospital and gong to be in the hospital the day of the party, I went onto my paypal account and sent an email to the email to which the deposit was sent. I also left yet another telephone message that day. Crickets! The following day I made a crazed effort all the while catching my 12 year olds vomit in buckets and trying to comfort him and much more related to his care, I contacted other companies and was able to speak to a live person at one who was able to accommodate my request for services. Less than 24 hours before the part, this company sent a form confirmation for the party. I "replied" directly to that confirmation explaining they had not responded to any of my prior inquires and I could not rely on their services and wanted a refund. NO REFUND TO DATE.
