We went in with my Great Grandson who is almost 17 months old in for his first little boy haircut…read more He was born with a full head of hair and his hair was past his shoulders and in his eyes. We had to wait a short time for our turn , and my Great Grandson had a great time playing in the enclosed toy area. His haircut from the beginning to the end took 10 minutes. And Susan was amazing. The babies Mom wanted him to have a " fade haircut " . Susan was a little skeptical at first but was willing to give it a try. She showed him the electric razor and told him that it tickles, and asked him if she could tickle his head with it. She was very quick using the electric razor and finished up with comb and scissors. She then put a bit of product in his hair to spike up the front. She never forced him and was very cheerful the whole time. Best of all his haircut looks amazing ! No more people asking us how old is she ? Afterwards she took a photo of him, attached it to a my first haircut certificate and attached a small bag of his long hair. His Mom loved how his hairstyle came out and said she would definitely be back when he needs his his next haircut. I'm so happy that I saw an advertisement for this salon.

The car chairs are a great way to put the child in a good mood. The bubbles keep them occupied, as well as the tv. They have a enclosed play area so that the kids can't run off. This is great for the siblings that are waiting their turn in the chair. We have tried to other places, but after today's visit...we won't be going anywhere else!

I would not recommend. I'm torn on the rating because the end result looked okay, but I chose what…read moreI chose because of value and lack of price transparency. I was honestly excited to come here because I was able to snag a last minute blowout appointment and I've had great success at similar places in the past. Walking in, the place is definitely dated and the chairs are old with cracked material. The wash is good and as you would expect. My blowout was fine, but took way longer than it does anywhere else. I was there for 55 mins. The blow dryer temp was definitely extremely hot and with all of the passes over each strand of hair I was definitely nervous my hair was getting fried. When I get blowouts, I'd say most salons spend more time doing a rough dry prior to going in for the style portion so I was really surprised and honestly kind of concerned by the two minute rough dry here. The real shock came when I checked out. I was charged $78 so after tip you're talking over $90. For a blow out. From COST CUTTERS. I was in a rush to leave so didn't have time for an argument but asked why so much more than usual and I was told because of my hair length (mine falls to about the length of your armpit) and how long it took. And there was no mention of extra charges during the consultation. I have probably had over 50 blowouts from stylists around the country and this is the most expensive blowout I've ever had in my life. So save yourself the money and go to Blo, DryBar, Pink Soda, Gallery at the Mill, Icon Salon, Strand, or literally any other "expensive" salon in the area because they'll take out their Dyson, Shark or other dryer, have you done in 30 mins, and charge $40-60.

I am fed up of this place and wouldn't want anybody to come here!!!

I was very lucky to find Melissa via a referral from a co-worker. Word of mouth is fantastic like…read morethat. Me (see my co-worker looking FABU-lous): Who. Cuts. Your. Hair?! My coworker: I went to Melissa in Manchester... Me: That's in my neck of the woods. Give me her contact info. Like...NOW. Well, it went down something like that. I'm trying to catch the enthusiasm and absolutely heart stopping need to get my hair done by whoever crafted what was on my co-worker's head. A phone call or two later, I had an appointment with Melissa. She's very accommodating and knows her stuff. Within a week, I was sitting in her chair and she was doing my hair cut using a technique I've never seen. She seems so casual, chats you up, and all the while she's eyeballing your head and hair 360 degrees. She cuts the hair wet. Then dries it and recuts its. Then she walks around your chair, checking out your hair and will go back in many times to do little tweaks and touch ups. Talk about good with details! You can tell she's been doing this for a long time because if your stylist has such a laid-back attitude while you're in the chair, you're either with an idiot or you're with someone who REALLY KNOWS what they're doing. Melissa definitely hit this cut out of the park. She was able to give me a really nice cut, she took a lot of hair out, gave it a shape, and it still has some length. I really like it. I felt before my hair was blah, which she pointed out what was going wrong with it, and how she would rectify it. And she went above rectifying...she gave me...Beautiful Hair. She is also very much into education. She will give you a ton of styling tips while you sit in the chair and after. She is adamant that if you have any questions, she's just a phone call away. So, to wrap this up, great little studio space, awesome stylist, and great hairstyle. Done. Done. Done. Get your butt over there. You won't regret it even if you have to drive a bit. She's that good.
