I asked to do a FaceTime consult and she happily agreed and we discussed what I wanted to do with my hair. I gave her my card to hold a deposit and booked my appointment! Obsessed is an understatement, I looooove it! Everything was pretty clean inside, she took my temperature before sitting down and asked me a couple of questions. I…read morehad an appointment I booked over two weeks in advance Last evening I got a text, asking me if I could move the appointment up I replied that no I was coming directly from another appointment above in the same building. When I arrived for my appointment, I was about 15 minutes late as I came from another appointment that ran over. I was told my stylists Brenda had left but the lady sitting at the counter could do my hair. I was like, wow, she didn't even text me, the response was " it's not her responsibility to text you". The new stylist offered was noticeably much younger, and I asked what Kathleen's fees would be. At this time, the blonde woman, (owner, manager?) refused to give me a price and kept asking me how much the senior stylist had quoted me for her service. I stated that as Brenda was no longer present and I would like to know how much it would cost Kathleen to highlight and cut my hair. The blonde lady got continually more aggressive and rude and told me I was agitated and that maybe I should reschedule. I told her I would not be rescheduling, and I was just asking for the price of the new stylist. Blonde lady continued to refuse price quote. Obviously, my hair was not done here and will never be. I took the blinds photo for my post and she threatened to call the police because I took her photo. This place is a real joke no wonder it's always empty. I was…read morevery nervous to find a new salon after my previous experience but Jen was not only empathetic to my situation and sat and listened with patience but also was completely professional explaining what options were available. We discussed a game plan to get my hair back to healthy and made me feel as if we knew each other our whole lives. There is nothing that makes you feel more important than a stylist who understands you and treats you like family. HIGHLY impressed. My second visit a month later was just as great as the first. Her knowledge is extensive, she doesn't make empty promises, treats you professionally and personally. Absolute 5 star service. I understand the business , I too was a stylist in Enfield for many years. I had told the stylist about my upcoming brain surgery, not sure if she remembered, but I had to cancel my rescheduled appt as well. I apologized, and was told she could not afford another cancellation. I felt I could not make a appt in the future. . My bill for the services plus the buying of retail products was a shock, 400.00. My bottle of shampoo was 75.00 ,such a expensive salon I can't image why they chose Enfield, Newbury St. in Boston is where they be!ong.

I had burns on the top of my scalp for days afterward. I was in so much pain. My hair looked fried, frizzy and orange. All I wanted was to lighten my blonde up and de-brass it a bit. She did the complete opposite, and I had to pay an arm and a leg to have it fixed at a salon with competently trained stylists. I am so upset at what she did to my hair I have to make sure to warn others to please not go here. Do not let this woman experiment on you! Lesson learned. Upon arriving I noticed that many of the clients were men. I didn't realize that so many guys were into getting their hairs foiled with highlights. The girl who worked on my hair was friendly but I can tell she wasn't experienced. My hair is difficult to work with and after leaving I didn't notice much of a difference. My layers were still the same, I asked her to keep the length but get rid of the stray ends. Bangs weren't impressive. The most annoying part of my experience here was the attitude. When I walked in these people looked at me like I was Tarzan's girlfriend or something. There was an older man who paced up and down the salon, I assume he was the owner. He would attract more customers if he learned to smile a little. He was selective in regards to who he greeted. No thanks I'll take my money else where, I can find better salons in West Hartford. He should probably fix the tangled cord situation, I would assume that's wouldn't pass a safety inspection. I won't be going back because the experience left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. The salon is tiny and the chairs were so close to one another. I can feel the air from the blow dryer from the girl next to mine.

She made a weird comment after I asked about colorings offered. She never asked my daughter if she liked the cut or was happy.
