The apparent positive side is that there is no state tax and residents get an annual state refund. A small bottle of tide liquid detergent was $10.59 and it's $5.69 at home. My deodorant which is $3.29 at home is $7.19 here in Juneau. A Harley Davidson T-shirt which is $29-$36 at home at the Harley Store is $53-$55 here in Juneau. What a beautiful place to visit.
