    Seasoned to perfection

I found this little burger trailer on accident. I just happened to be in HP, and my daughter (Lil Gordon Ramsey) said she wanted a burger. Looked up Burgers in the area, and this place was close by. Ordered online, and picked it up. 1st of all, the burger was FIRE. If you have an appetite, do yourself a favor and double up the patty. Everything about the burger was on point. From the seasoning on the patty, to the melted cheese. And the fries were seasoned to the GODS! Whatever ya'll do, dont change the seasoning on the fries. I sent Lil Gordon to pick up the food because there was no parking (Be Aware), and she didn't ask for any ketchup or ranch. (I dont know if it was offered). But they were good without any kind of dips. The menu is small and simple, and the drinks are canned, but this place is definitely worth a try. I'll definitely be back. They have entered my top 5 along with Amboy, Hen & Heifer, Mr. Mushroom, and Smackburger.

One of the best places to eat one of the best burgers!

OMG I was at the Hollywood Bowl to see David Gilmour and The Beast Burger's truck was in the entrance. I expected an ordinary food truck burger, but no! I'm a burger snob: I grind my own chuck from grass fed roast, taking a lot of time to trim off all the connective tissue and double grinding it with a coarse plate. I know burgers. The Stinky Bacon Burger from these guys is definitely the best food truck burger and up there with the best I've had anywhere. I think it's better than Umami Burger and maybe even better than Nepenthe. Amazing! Fantastic!

The best burger i've ever had from food truck. Juicy, fresh meat and well seasoned fries. Great customer service. Thank you Gabriel and team!!!

Came with friends to Block Party for their monthly drag brunch. Block Party doesn't serve food but there were QR menus on the table for The Beast Food Truck. Two of my friends ordered the breakfast burrito, and one got a breakfast sandwich. I had my heart set on the onion rings, but they weren't available so I ordered the seasoned garlic parmesan fries. The burritos were loaded with eggs, cheese, & hashbrowns. One had bacon in it. The breakfast sandwich was an English muffin with a friend egg and cheese. My friends enjoyed their selections. The garlic parmesan fries were delicious! Hopefully, next time I can try the onion rings.

The burger was spot on. Glad there is a non-meat burger on the menu. The fries are well seasoned and had plenty of cheese if that's what you like, I took a little off. Nice spot to drop by as I was just visiting up by the Rose bowl.

Sooooooo good! They have 4 burger options which I like all straight to the point. Everything is made fresh, my sister and I had the Beast burger with a beef patty soooooo good the ingredients meshed perfectly just amazing. We made it a combo the fries was crispy and hot. The food truck is around some vintage shops so you can look around while you wait. There's a small seating area outside, 10/10 I'll definitely be back when I'm craving a burger! The service was good took less than 15 minutes to get the food.

I was really surprised that I ordered a well-done burger and it came out so juicy! The patty is thick and juicy and so delicious, I definitely enjoyed every last bite. The fries had caramelized onions, cheese and sauce, very similar to In-n-Out's animal style fries, but with A LOT MORE FLAVOR! This food truck definitely delivered!

What a gem ! Service was friendly and food was on point . Burgers came out neatly done and made to order / very fresh tasting . Even had a fun branding on the top bun to make the experience unique . Parking is difficult but the burgers are worth it .

I love their savory anti-beast burger, it is sooo delightful. Customer service is always great and it's usually posted in a relaxed atmosphere.

Decided to randomly try this out one day and it was an amazing burger! I'm not sure how they could make such a good burger out of a truck. Have a unique menu with different types of meat and also vegetarian options. I got the beast burger (bison meat) and I would highly recommend. The parmesan were also to die for. It also seems like a small business (possibly family run) that I want to support.

GREAT GREAT GREAT! Absolutely LOVED this meal. Both my daughter and I got the Beast Burger (bison meat) and it was really delicious. I enjoyed all of the toppings on my burger and am glad I didn't modify - they worked perfectly together. My daughter subbed cheddar and skipped the rest but she's a plain burger kinda gal! The fries were also super yummy. Thin, great tasting, perfect crispiness, cajun-y, and cooked in a good fresh oil. I ate every last one of them. We like our burgers on the medium side and this was definitely medium to medium rare, so if you want it cooked more, be sure to say so. Can't wait to come back and try the wings and have another super flavorful BEAST BURGER! *drool* PS: I do love a good presentation and well thought out details for a fun & appealing overall dining experience - I feel like this place hit all those marks! :)

My new favorite burger place! We have driven past several times but haven't ordered. Well so glad we did last night! We had the Stinky Bacon Burger, a California King burger and a modified California King with only cheese and ketchup. We tried all of their fries and don't know how their sweet potato fries are super crispy! They were all amazing. Everything was amazing. :)

We shared the ribeye chilaquiles and the churro waffle and a side of potatoes for the chilaquiles. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and were the perfect addition to the chilaquiles plate. The chilaquiles were delicious and flavorful, and because they're cooked as tortilla strips, I felt they held their texture much longer and stayed crispy. The ribeye was cooked nicely, and the sunny side up eggs came out perfect. The waffle churro was soooo delicious. It wasn't insanely sweet, it was just right. There were so many menu options that I honestly wish I had more time and more of an appetite to fully indulge and try more dishes. We were in a bit of a hurry. I tried the chilaquiles, which were quit filling. They were a different style than the traditional version. They used crispy tortilla chips similar to the kind you get in tortilla soup, which actually gave the dish a really good twist. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. The food overall was really good, and I especially enjoyed the latte because it wasn't overly sweet like a lot of places tend to make them. Overall, such a great little breakfast and coffee spot in Eagle Rock. I'll definitely be back when I have more time to explore more of the menu.

We had an incredible time--the food, drinks, and hospitality were all fantastic. Everything was delicious, but the Wagyu Bone Marrow Corn Cheese and Chef Deb's K-Town Nachos completely stole the show. Starters & Small Plates: King Oyster Mushroom Chips, the Ahn-Joo Platter (great sampling of their bites), Mandu Lumpia, and the Sashimi Chopped Salad. Medium & Large Plates: Joseon Style Bossam, Bulgogi French Dip Sandwich, KFC Wings (messy--don't wear white and ask for wet wipes), and the Kongguksu. Note on the Kongguksu: it has a slight kick, so skip it if you/kids can't handle a bit of spice. Dessert & Drinks: The Fuji Apple Eggrolls were ok--the standout sweet bite was actually the Gochugaru Peanut Brittle (made with soy and chili, perfectly sweet-savory) for the hn-Joo Platter. For non-alcoholic drinks, I tried all three and I liked the canned Milkis best, while everyone else loved their cocktails and wine. Inside is modern and stylish with a long, narrow layout, decent seating, and a few TVs over the bar. Great for dates or groups up to about 15. Eddie, the manager, was kind enough to set us up in the back section to accommodate our party of 13. Since it was hot out, I asked about A/C and he assured us it'd be the coolest spot, though it ended up a bit warmer than expected. It was also near the back supply/storage area so there was a faint odd smell, but on the plus side, noise levels were low enough for easy conversation. For parking, there's street metered parking or a paid lot behind the building. The service is what truly locks in 5 stars. From managing our large party reservation to the splitting of the final check, the entire staff--from host to waiter--was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Eddie for being so accommodating and taking such great care of our family.

The first thing I ordered was the Wagyu Bone Marrow Corn Cheese, and I have to say--it was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the texture, and the seasoning was perfectly on point. This was definitely one of my favorite dishes of the night. Next, I tried the Kimchi Carbonara. I would give it a 7/10. If you enjoy spicy food and like kimchi, this dish definitely has a nice kick to it. However, for the price of $25, personally, I don't think it's worth ordering again. That's just my opinion, though, because everyone has different preferences. I also ordered the Cheesesteak Sandwich. The meat was very tender and practically melted in your mouth, which I really enjoyed. The only thing I didn't like was the bread--it was a little too thick for my preference and didn't seem to go well with the meat. It also made the sandwich a bit messy and sloppy to eat. Other than that, the flavor and quality of the meat were great. The aesthetics of the restaurant were awesome, and the atmosphere was nice. We went on a Saturday night, and there were only a couple of other guests dining at the time, so it wasn't too crowded. Customer service was great! Our server was on point and gave us a helpful rundown of the menu. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend checking this place out and trying a few of their unique dishes.

QUICK TAKE Get: Fish of the Day, Lamb, Moroccan-style Mushrooms Skip: Duck was our one miss Know: This is a good place for adventurous eaters who like sharing dishes and trying unexpected flavor combinations. Holy Saints does a nice job of making food feel creative without crossing over into "trying too hard." There are a lot of different influences running through the menu, and several dishes had us talking about the flavors and ingredients as much as the food itself. What we tried: Moroccan-style Mushrooms - A great example of what Holy Saints does well. Earthy, savory mushrooms with contrasting textures from the nuts, thinly sliced radish, herbs and crispy elements on top. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked together. Definitely one to share. Fish of the Day - One of the highlights of the meal and something I would absolutely order again. The fish came over rice in a deeply flavored sauce with peppers, herbs and fresh vegetables. Colorful, comforting and much more interesting than the standard fish-and-vegetables preparation you see at a lot of restaurants. Lamb - Another winner. Rich, hearty and well seasoned, with the sauce pulling everything together. If you're visiting for the first time and like lamb, this would be high on my list. Duck - Good flavor, but it seemed like the duck sauce could have benefited from a little more time to rest before being sliced and served. We joked that we should have brought a bag, taken it home and eaten it as leftovers instead. Sometimes duck might just need a night to think about what it did. What I liked most about Holy Saints is that the food wasn't boring. The kitchen takes familiar ingredients and puts them together in ways you probably wouldn't think of yourself, which makes it a fun restaurant for ordering several things and sharing around the table.

Dishes tried: - Sourdough bread and bbq butter, solid for a bread dish, butter is definitely unique, reminded me of Lay's BBQ chips in a good way - Grandma's Risotto w/ prosciutto, okay for me? Prosciutto was a supplement here and needs it imo for that oomph, otherwise a fine risotto dish but would pass unless it speaks to you - Barnyard Bolognese - a bit underwhelming to start, just too one-note for me, but it eventually grew on me and would get it again if I wanted a rich pasta - Duck Magret Au Poivre - easily my favorite dish here and what I would come back for and recommend for people, tender duck with the right amount of fat and a great sauce. Fries are a bit thicker than I would like, but still enjoyed it. - Seasonal apple pie - more of a danish if I had to describe it to someone, but nice texture and more importantly, not too sweet!
