Got the "Blue Chip" burger combo - the burger was tasty - and it wasn't stuffed to the gills with lettuce - you could taste all the separate components: bun, burger, onion, tomato, sauce. The Fries! The Fries! They were crispy and long and lightly seasoned. I don't like seasoned fries that much but these were exceptional - very slight dusting, but it enhanced the crispiness of the fries. I usually order fries well-done, but I forgot to, but never mind, these were perfect. Plus, they were really nice there. Order at the counter, and quick table service. Hubby had the pastrami and egg breakfast burrito. (served all day) He didn't have much to say one way or another. The zucchini, fries and onion rings side dish was good. They were crisp and not overly greasy. Nice size portion. Enough for 3 with leftovers. They include a cup of ranch dressing at no extra charge unlike some other establishments. Yes you know who you are! Service was okay. Nothing bad...nothing outstanding. The person taking my order would not win an award for her friendliness. But...she got my order correct. Unfortunately, I just had the worst tuna melt of my entire life. The staff was very efficient and friendly but that was the only positive part of the experience. My sandwich bread was really soft and soggy and the tuna hadn't been wrung properly leaving a wet mess in the wrap. The fries were good, but they didn't make up for the sandwich. The staff is extremely friendly. During Covid, they actually sold us EGGS and GROCERIES from the window as they were in high demand in early 2020 when "quarantine" was a novelty. Pete's is always on point. My favorite types of burger joints are the one off, or Mom and Pop locations. They remind me of my childhood before there was a McDonalds on every other corner. This place never disappoints, and their burgers are always HUGE, Juicy, and Messy. Just the way their supposed to be. Pete's is one of my favorites mainly because I live in the neighborhood, but I never get tired of their food and service. Their breakfast is AMAZING as well. There's just one thing that I don't like. We eat there a lot.
