Came in for the Glow Up Seasonal Facial and Refreshed Eye Treatment with Emily. Emily was a dream, my dissatisfaction is with the salon setting and overall vibe. It's an open concept with three stations set 6 feet apart. I've been to other salons with a similar setting and never experienced the amount of chatter between a client and another staff person, who I later learned was the owner Kathy, as I did today. Maybe during a lash and brow service, conversation is welcomed, but a facial, c'mon who carries on conversations or expects to be woken from a drifted sleep with loud talking and laughing? I did speak to Kathy, which just infuriated me more. A good business owner understands the needs of ALL customers, and is open to hearing concerns, possibly giving some thought to a different approach. What I got today was Kathy defending the vibe of her salon, and ya know too bad for me. So new customers be warned and Kathy, much luck to you in the future. read more

I've had my eyes in The Beautiful Life XO for a long time as a fan of lash and brow tints. Finally made an appointment and splurged with a brow tint, lash lift and tint. Oh my god! Why did I wait so long? My lash lift and tint looked incredible for 6 straight weeks. It's been 2 months since my appointment and they still look great, even if not as perfect as the first 1.5 months. I currently have silver hair and find that most brow tints are too warm. I mentioned this and Katherine went the extra mile to get the perfect shade for my brows to complement my hair. Absolutely love how dedicated this business is to perfection. Katie is a miracle worker! I have very short straight Asian lashes with a monolid. My lash envy got the best of me and I tried extensions from another boutique. Although they looked beautiful, they were uncomfortable due to my eye shape. When the stylist tried shorter lashes to help with the irritation, they did not make enough impression for the price and upkeep. Also, extensions are great for get up and go but I think I get up and go too much because I was constantly worried about sweat, water, wind, etc ruining my expensive lashes! With a long vacation coming up, I began researching lash lifts and am so happy to find The Beautiful Life. Katie was very meticulous, explaining everything and taking her time. There was no discomfort in the hour it took, I even dozed off. It has been almost 4 weeks since I had it done and my lashes are still curled and lifted. When wearing mascara, my eyes look like they did with extensions but with no maintenance and no fear of fallout! I could not be happier with Katie and her service. Katie is fabulous. She always does an excellent job with my eyebrow waxing - she takes her time and uses quality products that never bother my very sensitive skin. She goes over after-service care with me after each appointment. Her space is calming, clean and beautiful. And she sells wonderful products - but is the least-pushy salesperson, so make sure you ask her about them! The lash serum is amazing. All I can say is Wow!! I have had my lashes done before but they have NEVER been so full and perfectly symmetrical! The business owner just opened her own salon but is a Master in her profession! I can't believe she even did Keshas' extensions! I personally try to go to small business owners to help grow the community. This girl is so Amazing! She put on special eye patches for wrinkles during the session...what a difference it makes. The previous salon I went to just used tape, it was always uncomfortable. From the cute little boutique type setting that was sooo relaxing to Katie's calming touch all the way to the amazing lashes, I will definitely be going back again and again!
