The check in process was easy but for your first time here you may not know! Just go to the ipad & follow the questions! The girl did exactly what I wanted - no judgement, no putting her own twist on it, i showed her how much i wanted off & she did just that! I had wanted to get rid of a good portion of my tail & make my brows straighter & she did them amazingly!! This was also my first time getting them threaded, a LOT less painful than wax. I hate when i'm getting waxed and the light is really bright that i want to really squeeze my eye & the hot wax under my brow - it's very over stimulating. with threading, you get to hold your eye a little & get that extra blocking of light & since you're kinda covering your eye, it isn't as scary!! They don't play music, so there isn't a lot going on to distract you, but it kinda makes it a little less overstimulating! This place is a 10/10 on everything. if you need music bring an earbud! I loved it but there were some skin cuts from the thread and maybe she was too rough. I decided maybe the second time it'll be better- again i had some skin cuts. And she didn't remember me from the first time and asked if i have been there before. The final and third time- the same thing happened. I had some skin irritations but I had my eyebrow threaded before and never had this problem. I stopped getting it cut for a long time and just let it grow out, but I had some big events coming up and didn't want my hair to look like a mop. I decided to trust her reviews and give this place a chance (Never, ever risking a Classic Cut or Super Cut again!) and I cannot say how glad I am that I did. Somi is a very relaxed and easy-going stylist who did not make me feel pressured at all. I told her I wasn't sure what I wanted- I just knew I needed some shape, didn't want to lose length, and I liked the way bobs look, but I know different hair responds to different styles. She talked me through my hair texture and thickness, and offered some ideas that would be flattering- we agreed on one, and she executed it flawlessly. This is the best haircut I have had in years! She gave me bangs, which I have never had, so she taught me how to style and train them to stay in place. She styled my hair gorgeously so that I would be able to sleep on it and still have it look good for the next day! On top of it everything, she's not overpriced at all. I got a flier in the mail and decided to give them a try. The lady with color contacts threaded my brows. At first she started off fine but two people walked in and she started to rush. It felt like it hurt more but I figured I'm just not used to her. It wasn't until later that day I realized she had cut me on both sides! Now the cuts are scabbing. Now I do have sensitive skin which sometimes breaks out and I'm not blaming her for that. I however had never had cuts on my eyes from threading. I stopped by to see if they were willing to rectify the situation but she dismissed it by saying it happens all the time! Funny how it's never happened to me. She operates by appointment so your time is yours. She was very welcoming and took her time shaping my brows. She also finished with a quick cool forehead massage. What I liked the most was that she left me with brows! I have very thin brows and most threaders take off too much with no real shape.
