I have been going to Anna for sugaring regularly for about a year now and I have to say out of all wax experiences with other salons she is by far the most knowledgable and entertaining. I've been seeing Dominique for the last couple months for my sugaring needs, and I feel like I've had enough experience with her to be able to safely say that she is one of the best, and sweetest (hahah get it?) sugarists I've ever had the pleasure of having rip my little hairs out. First time at this establishment but this was my 3283429034768th waxing experience. I have been to multiple businesses and dealt with many estheticians however, Anna has been the most pleasant by far. She is experienced enough to provide multiple options to complete the same service. Waxing, can be painful, no matter who does it but she is the only one who presented options and techniques to minimize pain and time spent waxing. Conversation was also pleasant, she talked a lot, helping me keep my mind off what was going on but she wasn't annoying. She was funny and her awesome sense of humor was evident by the portrait of the naked man on the wall near the bed brazilian waxes are performed. Her studio isn't reminiscent of some of the mainstream salons but her business is clean, well kept and comfortable. LOVE The Beauty Lab! It is my go to place for lash tint, waxing and facials. I found Anna about 2 years ago and am thankful I did. She is knowledgable and can tell you how to get the skin results you want! She makes you feel at ease and is genuinely a sweet person all around. I started going to Anna for Brazilians and she does an excellent job (minimum ingrowns and super clean). Now I have her doing my lashes as well which are superb- I'm very particular about lashes and had her do them once and I never went back to my usual lash gal. Came here for the first time to get the Eminence Ultimate Customized Facial with Tina and loved it! Loved how the Eminence products smelled and more importantly, how they made my skin feel afterwards - moisturized, glowing and healthy! I have not had a proper facial in years and Tina has a great facial massage technique, which is firm and soothing at the same time, I probably could have fallen asleep on the table. Tina is super friendly and answered all my questions about the products and is very knowledgeable about them and clearly has a passion for what she does. This place is truly a gem. All the staff here are really fantastic, but I seriously just had a transcendental experience with Rochelle during a facial. FIRST - they use Eminence products (*swoon). So luxurious. Rochelle has the most amazing energy and touch, you instantly feel so calm and open around her. She is very knowledgable about skin, hair, everything, down to the real science of it, and does an excellent job educating you about how to care for your own beauty. I love that every esthetician puts their own personal touches into their work, and Rochelle offered me Reiki during my treatment, which is why I say transcendental - I went on an emotional journey during my facial (yes I know how crazy that sounds), but she helped open up areas of my person that have been aching to be opened and released. It was such a moving experience, and strangely, precisely what I needed in my life at that very moment. Her warmth and loving nature made me feel safe and secure, and I got a fabulous facial to boot. Rochelle is absolutely amazing!!! She does eyebrow / lash tinting and brow waxing for me. My brows have never looked so good! The dye really fills them in, but they still look very natural. I've never loved my eyebrows so much after a wax. The shape is perfect. Prices are very reasonable. Plus Rochelle is possibly one of the sweetest, positive people around. I've been to different waxing salons in Seattle, this one is my home now! I've been here for brazilians with Sadie and I love how quick and efficient she is. She assessed my skin and helped me find which wax works best for me. The environment is always very clean and warm. I always feel comfortable there which, I think is the most important aspect of any salon. I also had a 60min facial for the first time...AMAZING! I highly recommend it. Sadie asked me what my skin concerns were and also made recommendations on what treatments she thought I would benefit from. She customized a facial for me which included a facial mask and massage.
