Beautiful decor and atmosphere, collaborative treatment plan- as I was able to easily ask questions, we discussed potential side effects (I had none!), and scheduled a 2 wk follow up appt since it was my first time. All seamless and easy! The tox treatment felt like tiny little pin pricks, I rate them 1/10 on the pain scale, it was not a big deal. I started to see notable results within 5 days, by 10-12 days my problematic static line across my nasal bridge disappeared and my angry lines (11's) were gone! I wish this would have been double checked prior to being used on me because even if it's probably fine only happening once and (hopefully) it wasn't in a high dosage.. but was unable to confirm this - it still caused me immense anxiety that I really wish was avoided. I washed it off and emailed my doctor. But I still feel awful and wish more precaution was taken. This was my first facial since becoming pregnant (almost 27 weeks now) and I was really looking forward to it and thought I'd be safe here. Unfortunately I didn't feel safe and I wish I never came now. They don't have pregnancy pillows to accommodate pregnant individuals either. I'd go elsewhere if you're expecting but otherwise they usually do a great job... pretty disappointed this happened to me though /:

Maps told me it would take 45 minutes to get there. I guess it thought I would be going 15mph the whole way. I was finally able to call them to let them know I was almost there. The receptionist said it's 10 minutes into your appointment time so she won't be able to do your treatment but she can still do your consultation. I walked in 2 minutes later and she said she couldn't do it. I said I just got of the phone and they said I could so she went back to ask the nurse Erin if she could do it and she said no because her next client was going to be there in 15 minutes. The consultation I needed was one she had already given me. It would have taken 2 minutes. Needless to say I won't be returning.

Making the appointment through Vagaro was easy, walked me through a thorough intake form, and allowed me to choose my esthetician. I went with Allegra who was a darling from the minute I stepped into Dermaspace. Any worries or fears quickly drifted off given the dim lighting, chill music and zen ambiance. Allegra had a sweet personality, explained the entire process from start to finish, was knowledgeable about anything related to skincare and health, and most importantly, gentle. The facial was around an hour and fifteen minutes, including a discussion of my skin concerns, allergies, goals, etc. It consisted of roughly four total steps: 1) Gentle facial cleansing and exfoliation 2) Moisturization and detoxification using yucca soaked cloth within a volcanic heated cone 3) Deep cleaning of my entire face, clearing out any and all clogged pores 4) Ionization facial wrap of nourishing cotton with a leather mask connected to low voltage electrical current in order to ionize the solution. Afterwards, my face felt completely refreshed and as if years were taken off. There is a reason it has won the best facial in Seattle/PNW for many years--the treatment is truly results driven and very effective. I plan to be back soon.

A prepaid gift should be fully honored when they sell it as a package on their website. Forcing a customer to pay extra for a prepaid package is a terrible business practice. The massage and facial were just okay. Not exceptional experiences.There were communication issue with the girl who performed my massage. The girl that did my massage asked if I would like them to work on my sculp that day. I was confused if she meant during the massage it facial so I asked. She said "Oh! You have a facial appointment too? Then I'll let her do that during the facial." However, the girl who performed facial did not perform massage on my sculp.
