My experience here has been the worst experience of 2023 by far and one of the worst experiences of my life. Coming into the school I was convinced by one of the prior administration how great this place was and how amazing the students are. The students were amazing and I learned more from them than the actual teachers. I told administration that I wanted to transfer because I was being treated like trash and I saw how badly the class room teacher was treating the students and myself. only to have them drop from the school without waring or clear comunication and I still don't know what the reason was for? How convenient. But this is how they treat the students here. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! I have had racist comments thrown at me by the classroom teacher and noticed her dislike when it comes to cutting people of my colors hair. I was verbally attacked anytime I would participate in the class for no good reason which in return made me not want to participate any further and at that point I was already considering to transfer schools. The class room teacher asked us if anyone in the class needed more time to study for one of the test. Me working a full time job and hardly getting any rest I really appreciating the opportunity for extra time. I raised my hand only for her to completely gas light me and make it seem like I was asking for more time? She proceeded to ask the class when we were going to stop sucking on her tits? The vulgar language was completely unnecessary and absolutely uncalled for. I have witnessed her verbally degrade students and push their feelings and life to the side and made it seem like they were making excuses. I felt like I was on a talk show most of the time when I was there. She brought her son to school and had him sit in front of the entire school to talk about why he's smoking weed in the bathroom at school??? Idk what her bad parenting and adolescent child has to do with MY barber education???? She proceeded to act emotionally dramatic crying in the class room and throughout the week took out her emotionally unstable self out on the students. I didn't pay thousands of dollars to hear why her son is smoking weed in the restroom? I paid to learn about barbering. She expressed to the students constantly how the owner Rudy needs her and how she knows he's not going to replace her because he has other schools/business he's putting his attention on. I believe she takes full advantage of this and creates toxic environments knowing she's not going anywhere and she loves getting away with it. What happens between administration and teachers should be kept confidential but like I said there is no maturity here at this school. A bunch of kids trapped in adult bodies picking and choosing who to abuse knowing they will get away with it. The teachers here do not care about your life or future. Its a complete shit show here and I regret putting my hard earned money into this place. I tried to get into contact with Rudy the owner and I was told by the administration that he didn't want to talk to me. YOU will not get your money back so please before you decide to put down a big down payment please experience what the class room is like prior so you have the ability to pull out and go to another school. The teachers here can not control their emotions or words and at the age they're at is embarrassing. Two full grown adults and they act worst than teenagers. I was black listed by the administration. I thought the lady at the front desk was being understanding and was trying to help me. only to find out she twisted my words and made it seem like I was going to expose the school? All I wanted was my money back and I would have disappeared and left. But maybe the universe is using me to help guide others into not making the same bad decision in coming to this school like how I did. There are better schools and ones that will not treat you like trash. I showed up on the day of my appointment and the location was closed. I proceeded to text her but didn't receive her response until hours later. She didn't offer to reschedule or attempt to make things right for her shortcomings. I had to ask for my deposit back and I obviously had to reschedule my photoshoot. Completely unprofessional for someone that is supposed to be an educator at the school.
