I am so happy with my decision to finally get central air and so satisfied with this company. Customer service was great and Howard made sure to make me feel at ease and really blew the competition away. The installer was very nice, informative and personable. He was steadfast and made sure the job was done. He cleaned up after himself too. I know I went with the right company and that I did receive a very competitive price. I had been quoted a much smaller unit from another company had doubts that it would do the job. Howard was straight forward with me and told me it wouldn't. I also had a heating and air conditioning system installed by The Bee. Mine was installed in 2022. I had free service for three years. I had a problem last year. Several technicians came out. The problem was fixed for a period of time and now has resurfaced. I called and learned that they were now actually Blue Valley. The response was totally unsatisfactory. They could not tell me whether I ever had a free service, what system was installed and had no access to any records of the purchase or warranties or service agreements. Very unsatisfactory. I used to be able to speak with knowledgeable people who had access to my account and records. No more. Call someone else!! read more

They sold out to Blue Valley Heating Cooling and Plumbing. Absolutely no follow-up whatsoever. We had a AC and Heating system inspection done just for general maintenance. The tech was fine however did not note anything related to the heat exchanger nor send us the estimate he promised. I called this company to get some answers and find out what happened to the estimate. The woman answering the phone said someone would call me back. 3 days later I got online and chatted with Gavin and he said the same. Now, 3 days later, no contact. I actually called The Bee as that is normally who I use however apparently they sold out to Blue Valley. Don't call this company or the Bee, its BS that no one can even call you back when you make that request. read more

Got a new HVAC system installed by the Bee in July 2024. So far we've had to have them come out 3 separate times for leaks, issues, etc. related to the AC system. Now, on the coldest weekend of the year, our heat has stopped working. They are unable to send anyone out until MONDAY - with temperatures reaching in the negatives tomorrow. Absolutely ridiculous. They also expect us to pay for them to send the technician and are offering no solutions even though they are leaving us and our home in a potentially dangerous situation. We requested dispatch have a manager call us back and no one has. Do not recommend at all, too many issues, no solutions. You're better off going to a major retailer. read more

Danny checked everything from inside the furnace and tested the thermostat . He showed me photos of what he inspected and what the condition of various parts looked like inside of the furnace. I asked a question about the thermostat and he explained how the device worked at night to keep the rooms warm at the temperature that I had set earlier. read more

I do not typically post reviews, but because The Bee Heat and AC did such an exceptional job in repairing my AC at a reasonable fee, I felt it important to let others know. My 5-year old Lennox AC has not worked optimally for 3 summers. Three other HVAC companies have tried to make it work right, but failed. They all blamed the company that did the initial installation, even though it worked fine the first two years. The Bee technician took his time, analyzed the AC performance, evaluated the necessary AC specifications for my space,, executed a diagnostic and discovered the issue. He then provided a reasonable repair quote to which I agreed to, and he repaired it on the spot. Its worked perfectly since then...really, even better than when brand new because he tweaked some of the settings so it ran more efficiently and effectively. After trying some of the more well known companies offering HVAC repair, paying a lot of money, and the AC still not working right, I'm now a forever fan of The Bee Heat and AC. read more

I don't really ever leave reviews. This company earned our business through a competitive bid process. We put them against 6 other local companies and they rose to the top. By happenstance, we got a fantastic deal on some top of the line equipment. We were shopping to replace our janky old evaporative cooler and 30 year old oversized furnace. We upgraded to full central air and a modern furnace. Howard came out and gave us a quote, measured up the job, and was honest and straight forward (never attempted to oversell, and in fact, sold us on proper equipment that wasn't top of the line efficiency since we'd likely never recover the cost). Russell and Obed came out and busted their behinds and were super professional and diligent. Cleaned up the job site and even threw in a few add ons when they found an issue (for instance, hole in exhaust on water heater). I'd recommend anyone who is looking for HVAC work to at least have them come out to bid. Outstanding work, competitive prices, and excellent work force. read more

Technician was polite but felt service was expensive for what I got. Paid for a maintenance and check on the furnace for selling our home, and it was done in less than 15 minutes. He said it looked clean and nothing else to do but expected it to be a full multi step check anyways. Got this same service done at the new home with a different company and it took time, fully cleaned the inside, had a multi step checklist and explained it all. Would have appreciated more customer service as well as a service besides yep it looks fine and charging $70 more. Technician again was very nice and they were an easy company to schedule with just wasn't wowed and was with a different company so they were good but I would get quotes from other places and maybe be more involved during the furnace cleaning/maintenance to be able to feel like you got your money's worth. read more

Let me start by saying we did not use The Bee once, twice, but for years. Our end with them came a month ago when our furnace went out, error code 42 inducer motor issues. We called, they responded. Technician did little to nothing to address the error code and left because "it was working". Fast forward to last week, a month later; when our furnace went out again... same error code 42. Russel, a supervising technician came out, who has been at our house before. At this time it was found that a bird was in our inducer motor outake, that was well decomposed over 3-4 months, and our motor was bad. Russel confirmed that the previous technician should have at the very least checked the voltage on the motor to see if it was lowering, and checked the intake and outake. It would have saved out motor. Russel proceeded to notify us that this part was on back order, for months. Leaving us in the mountains of Golden with a newborn, without heat, and having to tell family they can not come in for the holidays. Further unfortunate for Russel and The Bee, we have security cameras through out the house, including the hallway outside the furnace room where Russel implicated that the previous technician failed and the motor would have been saved. Further Russel was the one who got this the previous technician the job, and Russel was upset because now he would have to write him up. I spend the weekend, and my Monday calling every supply shop in the US and other local HVAC companies. Today, Monday I was able to get a motor overnighted at the cost of $1,000... and the same time Mac Vik HVAC was able to find this motor from carrier, locally, the same supply shop that The Be, and Russel supposedly was sourcing a product that would have been also ordering from. I was waiting until today, and a call back from the owner before we were forced to file an insurance claim; and unfortunately that arrive late tonight after we had to get our insurance involved. Howard the owner, was rude and even after sharing the details above, said "he doesn't see how this is their fault". Further even now being informed that this furnace is only 3 years old, and not out of warranty like Russel stated as well (thank you Mac Vik for being thorough). Howard also threatened me that corporate sabotage was a federal offense, event when I was informing him that this was out of my hands and in the hands of the insurance. I would look elsewhere for your needs, their technicians and office cared nothing that I, and another HVAC company were working diligently over the weekend to find a part, in this massive supply chain shortage, and was looking at having no heat until the new year. Their office did offer to quote an entire new system install, at my cost though. Unfortunately an insurance ding, but insurance always goes after negligence; especially when their own employees admit it. read more

Last week during a nasty snowstorm, and on one of the coldest nights of the season, the circulating pump on our boiler failed, leaving us without heat. After numerous calls to HVAC companies that were closer in proximity to our house, and after being told each time that "we're not sending technicians out in this weather", or "we don't have anyone available to send to your house this evening", we expanded our search. I came across Busy Bee Heat & AC, and they advertised "24 Hour Emergency Calls", so I called them. A couple of hours later at 2:00 a.m., Howard (the owner) came out to our house to assess the situation. We both knew that he likely would not have the necessary parts on his truck, but at least he would know what to order. He came back the next day and replaced the pump and got us back up and running. He came back again two days later to re-bleed the hot water heat lines to eliminate air in the lines. Everything now works great. Howard was very knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions about my heating and air systems, and helped me understand what I would and would not need as far as preventive maintenance. I'm grateful that he braved the inclement weather to come out and assess our needs, and that he followed through to ensure that we had heat during a particularly cold stretch of weather. I will definitely use Busy Bee Heat & AC again, and will gladly recommend them to family and friends. read more

I have to down grade my previous review. They tried but gave up. I have heat but the boiler won't shutdown. Possibly my system wiring. They wanted to upgrade all the zone controls for an additional $5000. Not too happy at the moment. Now I have to find someone that can link my zone valves with my new boiler. read more

There was an issue with HomeAdvisor scheduling and phone number of record. So, I had to call due to not being there at the HomeAdvisor scheduled time. We were able to resolve the conflict and they came right out and were still within the two hours window. They found the issue and made the fix within 30 minutes. I thought all was great. Then 2 days later the leak was still there... they saw my review on another site and contacted me, which I thought was nice. They scheduled to com look at their work for free (I would hope so since its still leaking so the valve replacement is not a fix if still leaking). They did not arrive as scheduled, 2 hours late they called and said they would have to reschedule because I had to leave for work after waiting an extra 2 hours they wanted to still come out! I said I would get hold of them the following week as I travel for my business. So, I text the guy, we agreed on a day. He text me and said he would be there between 8am and 10am. I got a call at Noon that he was on his way! Are you kidding me, I actually am in a customer service business, as well. I would be out of business if I treated my clients like this... I told them 3 strikes, I was going to find someone else to fix what they did... No, I would not recommend. PS I have all the saved text messages! Wendy read more
