A refund was processed to my card without my authorization or any prior communication. I contacted the business multiple times to request an explanation and allowed more than two weeks for a response, including adding additional time in case management was unavailable. I have received no response. My concern is not only the handling of the transaction itself, but the complete lack of communication and accountability afterward. Processing a financial transaction without authorization and then failing to respond to a customer's attempts to address it is unacceptable. I hadn't been back to this spa in a few years and so I treated myself to a massage last week. I accidentally booked an 80 minute massage but they were super accommodating and so lovely that they rebooked me on the spot for a 50 minute instead. I wish I had arrived much earlier to take advantage of the luxurious quiet area that they have tucked away behind the reception area - must remember that for next time!! I was extremely excited to receive my facial and massage at Lavender Hill Spa, I arrived 15 minutes early to my scheduled appointment time. I received an amazing, relaxing, and pleasant facial from Landry (5 's to Landry), towards the end of the facial I hear LOUD knocks at the treatment room door, it was the massage therapist, Mary, whom was the individual I was scheduled with at 4:30 for a 90 minute massage. It seemed the facial was running a few minutes behind, and Mary took it upon herself to interrupt my previous service. As an esthetician MYSELF, this is EXTREMELY unprofessional behavior. My service is over and I throw on the robe as soon as possible to be convenient for Mary. By this time I make it to the hallway where I am supposed to be passed off to my massage therapist. I am not greeted nor made felt welcome by Mary. All she says is "your facial went over scheduled time so you will not receive your full time today" I thought about it and requested to reschedule my appointment for a better day so I didn't feel even more rushed and unrelaxed. But then I was met with "you can reschedule your appointment, but you will be charged 50% of the service for a same day cancellation. Mind you, I was ON TIME. I ended up still receiving a 60 minute massage from Mary, and she isn't bad at her job, you could just feel it was rushed. I get dressed and head to the front desk where I am met by who I believe is Lizzy. She asked me how my massage went and I said "okay" and she followed that up with "what made it just okay?" I replied with "the fact I didn't get my full time." She then told me "since YOU went over on your time during your facial, we weren't able to accommodate your full time during the massage." Once again, I WAS THERE ON TIME. I am extremely upset as this was supposed to be a birthday treat for myself. I ended up paying for my treatments after given a 25% discount OFF A 90 minute massage. And when I requested a receipt I was told that it wouldn't be available at the moment due to the computer having issues. How convenient! I was 100% failed by this company. read more

I have purchased a monthly membership for massages and have used various masseuse here at the spa and have loved each of them. My favorite is Jenny, she does the best deep tissue massage and gets my knots out... her hands are magic and she really is so experienced and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend this place enough. What a delightful surprise! My hubby bought me a groupon for this spa. I usually end up being disappointed in groupon gifts, but this spa was Fabulous! The spa is located in an adorable section of Keller that is reminiscent of a trendy, cool spot in Austin or Dallas. As soon as I walked in, I felt relaxed, warm, and cozy ---- some very nice aroma vibes were happening. I was greeted and led back to an area with large, plush chairs which I lounged in while filling out my paper work. I was also offered lavender champagne or hot tea......,I went for that lavender champagne and it did not disappoint ;-) They have a beautifully decorated bathroom in which you change into your robe and flip flops. Then you place your items into a basket and return to the waiting area....and more champagne (or tea). A very nice masseuse named Sydney led me to a lovely, warm massage room and gave me ample time to get situated. I was already calm and relaxed from the ambiance....,and the champagne. The actual massage was one of the best I've ever had! Sydney was amazing. My massage also included a body scrub and peppermint aromatherapy. I was totally chilled out after my session. I have found my new favorite spa in DFW, and already plan on going back after the holidays. There is plenty of free parking. When I attempted to set up an appointment the business refused to set up an appointment for me without me giving them a credit card number. I advised they were already paid for the service. They refused to schedule me an appointment. This was such poor customer service, I would not use this business. Went in for their signature package, a 90 minute Swedish massage and 50 minute facial. Jenny did the massage and it was amazing and thorough with extra attention on my back, as asked but still plenty on hands / feet and scalp. I feel refreshed! (5 stars) Heidi did my facial. It left a lot to be desired (3 stars). She spent most of the time trying to sell me on products in the salon and the salon monthly membership packages. A fair amount of time there was nothing on my face, she was just talking! At least work and talk!! She spent way too much time complaining about my shampoo / conditioner and trying to sell me on the salon's products and their membership. It came across very pushy and not relaxing. I was trying to be polite and ask the occasional question or just say uh-huh but she didn't get it and kept going. This is among the worst facials I've ever had and it didn't help that she shorted me quite a bit of time. She left me in the room to change at 11:07, I'm quick and waited a couple minutes on the table for her to return and start. She left the room promptly at 11:50 for me to dress. So I got about a 40 minute facial, not 50 minutes. I'm not sure if the massage ran over (which I have no control over - I was at the salon early!) or if they don't leave any room in between appointments when you schedule a package but combined with the selling I'd never use her again. read more

The form that was attached and required was very harsh in tone. It seemed designed to discourage male clients. Had the BEST day at the spa with my Mom today. We both had the Holiday facials and Body scrub/massages. Stephanie, the massage therapist, had very strong hands and was able to work out my muscle knots without pain while maintaining my relaxation state. Kim, the esthetician, was also amazing! The facials were individualized to our skin care needs. All of the products were natural and smelled amazing! They have a relaxation room with a fountain on the wall and serve you hot tea or lavender champagne along with a warm neck wrap, all while wearing a nice cozy robe and slippers. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my massage therapist was not clean herself (her hair was super greasy) and she smelled pretty bad. Lavender Hill Spa continues to disappoint. They can cancel your appointment at anytime, even the same day without any accountability but if you do the same even in an emergency you lose a credit. They will never respond to an email inquiry. Sometimes they send you reminders and sometimes they don't. Remembers are sometimes sent 5 min before your appointment not the day before as explained. The front desk doesn't seem it have a good understanding of the packages or the add on's. Very unprofessional communication when you can actually get a hold of someone. There were some good experiences but for a spa which is meant to be a treat they should all be good experiences. I was a member that still has credits and cannot get an answer if I can still use the credits or not. My wife emailed them the question two weeks ago and never heard back but today they reached out 5 hours before her massage and canceled it. They do have really good masseuse's so it really is a shame for a business with so much potential to be falling short on customer service from management and the front desk. read more

Pros: Bought the Peppermint Champagne 90 min spa package off of Groupon for my friends birthday. The spa itself is a cute cozy spa in a quiet shopping plaza. We thought we might have been late but it turns out they closed the spa for our appointment so we were the only customers there. That definitely made my friend and I feel hella exclusive. The facial was super soothing. The esthetician was super friendly and attentive. My masseuse was also very attentive. I didn't even have to ask or tell her when or where to apply deeper pressure, she just went for it as she progressed thru the massage. As a person who deals with high stress and muscle spasms in my neck....that little bit meant the world. I didn't have to pause and explain where and how deep I felt the tightness and if she could focus on those areas....she just went for it. Personally, I judge my spa services on my ability to completely relax and I must say, I fell asleep twice. The lavender champagne was different but delicious. (*hello new brunch drink*) The spa itself was decorated very nicely as well. I would come back, in fact I'm probably bringing my sisters. Cons: Given that it is a small spa, the waiting/holding area is open to the break room so you can see the employees fussing about and if it's really quiet you can hear their conversations in the break room. Towards the end of our services there was a little kid playing around. I like kids, but I don't want to see them running around a store. The staff was very sweet and personable. I went there today. I had a 90 minute massage with Stephanie who I've seen before. She's amazing. I've seen other therapists there too who were also great! The experience there is awesome! First you get into a comfy robe and take a seat in the waiting area which has a water fountain and relaxing low lighting. Then you're offered something to drink. I took the Lavender mimosa because i needed it, lol! It was delicious! They also put a warm aromatic thing around my neck that feels like a long warm hug while you wait for your therapist to come get you. Their rooms are super cozy and plush. Aroma heaven! I was eager to buy a promo package and couldnt wait to redeem it. I had a 50min CBD massage with Anthony, his pressure and focus on my trouble spots was wonderful. I was so relaxed I snoozed most of my 50 min facial. However, when I was coherent the aesthetician impressed me with her detail oriented treatment. My skin was visibly lifted, hydrated, and rejuvenated after she massaged and drained all my stress away. I have purchased another package and will be thrilled to go back.
