Have eaten there many items both dine in and take-out. The Greek and Spinach salads are good. Fish is usually pretty good and fresh. Had the baked scrod on Good Friday. It was good. However the server was not pleasant and did not follow up even once to see if I needed anything. I begrudgingly left a 20% tip but really wanted to leave her a note that I would have tipped much more if she treated me as a valued customer. She was only pleasant when she brought the bill. Usually is packed a decent amount whenever I get the chance to stop by but the wait staff is often very fast at catering to needs and not to mention very friendly and welcoming. Always love getting take out and doesn't take very long for the food to be prepared. Great place overall! read more

Nice atmosphere with nice staff. Clean with lots of booths. They have pretty much everything on their menu and offer breakfast all day. Breakfast is ok and the sandwiches/wraps were pretty good. We weren't impressed with the pizza or the burgers. We particularly enjoy their Cuban sandwich & the turkey fresco for a quick lunch. Having been in the restaurant business my whole life, just retired from it, bought a groupon...which I was never a fan of when I served/managed, I saw this restaurant on the groupon site.... so I decided to buy one....... We live in Franklin, so visited this place... My friend who lived in Bellingham always spoke highly of your establishment. Well the food was great, service needs help, but I get it, she was sweet and said she was new... Sadly every table around us complained about the groupon. I hope the owner is going to read this.. Bottom line, you buy a groupon to bring people in, it was valued for 30 dollars...fine print, no alcohol, tip, etc... as a manager/server I always would ask my patron if they had one, explained the rules, etc.... if they did not spend the total say 30, I would advise them to get dessert, app, all that good stuff.... otherwise they would lose the difference, even tho they spent half the price tag. We still honored it regardless..... Long story short, they demanded you spent the 30...we had drinks, not included, tip not included, get it..... LOL I was amazed... so we ended up getting a side of sauce for 2.29 to make it 30.... a tiny side container mind you.... This poor woman just getting off her nurses shift was getting takeout and was told she was 6 cents short and could not use it... At this point I had to go up to the takeout counter and guide the poor girl.. She said, that is what we were told. Wow OMG... feel bad for the lack of education on the groupon... no cash back, if you spend 25, you mark it as that... does not have to be the full 30... I guess you will see how this will all settle, we were only there for 40 minutes and every table, takeout was pissed off..... Hope you read this and I don't mean any bad press, just learn the rules of the groupon... simple... train your staff, and whomever is the manager, never saw you on floor to help those poor girls..... I wish you the best of luck.... in the future I would not promote the groupon, they can hurt you if you don't do the right thing... each server needs to ask the question... "do you have a groupon? and explain how it works.... saves alot of people being confused and unhappy..... Bellingham Palace has fantastic food. Mostly everything I've ordered is delicious. My favorite thing I've eaten there was the steak and eggs. (Although it was my husband that ordered it..) I ordered the Monte Crisco I think is what its called. I liked what I ordered too, except the steak and eggs was wayy better. The only thing is it's super busy when we go and the waitresses don't have the best personalities. They could have better waitresses working for them. Cute little breakfast place. read more

Friendly, fast staff and good breakfast. Though the food is always way too salty -I feel dehydrated for the rest of the day after breakfast here. Went tonite for dinner had a coupon from new england perks. After dinner gave the coupon to the waitress. She returned a few minutes later and tells us they won't take it that they havenot had one in a while even though the expiration date was 2018 .That the manager says that they will just give us the face value of 15.00.This is fraud .The manager should have came out not let the waitress have to do his dirty work .They sell these then back out after they get you there.Unfortunately we like this place go there many times and bring friends.But the ripoff they pulled with us and who knows how many others they lost customers.Will follow up with N E perks and A.G. office read more

My wife and I first discovered this place when we moved to the area 4 years ago - from our very first visit when we tried their amazing burgers (my wife's favorite is the Taco Burger), we have been throughly impressed with the Bellingham Palace. Their menu has a good variety with all the usual staples and some interesting twists (Mac n Chz w/ Grilled Chicken, Bacon & Ranch). Lived in the area most of my life, always a go to, since i have moved about an hour away now everytime i am in the area have to stop in. Fresh veal dinner is the best in my opinion, my husband loves the fresh veal parm always raves about the sauce.(would love to know how to make it) The create your own pasta is good too. It wasn't really what I expected, not really the experience I was looking for in a dinner. I cut into my eggs Benedict and it was barely cooked. The table I sat on was very uncomfortable and unstable, and the service was not as moderate as I wanted. The waitress wasn't too friendly and I didn't feel comfortable leaving as much of a tip as I did. The place smelled a little funky, and I wasnt too happy about that. I enjoy this place. Everyone is very friendly and have never been disappointed. Ordered takeout last night and had to wait a bit because our pizzas weren't quite ready. The lady behind the desk was very polite and seemed very busy but had things under control. My family and I usually would stop in during the week and have never seen so many people! Been going here for over 15 years. Always very clean, smiling, attentive waitresses, the food comes out ridiculously fast. my daughter and i went for first time. first of all, we walked in and waitress said "sit where ever", not the nicest. my daughter ordered french toast with strawberries and cream. the strawberries were the frozen ones drenched in syrup, her toast was so mushy and sweet, it was inedible, she barely a 1/4 of her toast. i ordered the bullseye. the toast was soggy, and there was so much cinnamon in the mixture, i could not taste anything else. i used the hollandaise sauce, which is blah, to try drown out the cinnamon, but it was not appetizing at all. i ate less than 1/2 of my meal. not worth it. first nad last time i go. will stick with yolks on diamond hill, there food is much, much better. ann m read more
