Stopped here for lunch with my brother and nephew and the staff was very nice and accommodating for the infant. Has a local bar and pub vibe. The food is on the expensive side for pub style but it was good. I got the turkey tip and veggies and it was $24 but could have been another turkey tip or two. My brother got the burger and fries and it was good. Definitely worth a stop if you're in need of solid meal and casual vibe.

Martini flight!!

Best turkey club ever!!! Home made turkey right in their kitchen then sliced an inch high! Fresh and delicious with scrumptious fries. Coming back for a girls night and the martini flight that I saw on the next table.

My husband and I went in for the first time today and I was blown away! Such a cute bar with the game on every TV! Everything was so delicious - and the staff there were so incredibly nice, kind, and attentive. We had the nachos with chicken, their crispy and delicious potato skins, and the chicken Philly egg rolls (special for the week). The food was seasoned well, hot, crispy and gooey in all the right places. I had the spicy watermelon margarita and it was perfection. The drinks are nice and cold, the food delicious, it's a must visit!

Upon seating, our server appeared to be the bartender She started by saying that she they had a busy weekend and went over the one page menu with us, letting us know what dishes were not available This immediately reduced the selection by a fair amount. I don't know if this is a positive or negative you can look at it either way, My guest and I opted for two soups one French onion one house soup. the onion soup looks great however was lacking in seasoning. I hear good things about this place and all the pictures look fine. Perhaps we'll try it another time

Carolina Steak Kabobs with peppers and onions and Florentine Rice

So delicious and always reliable for excellence! Tonight we got the fish and chips, which was cooked to perfection and not the least bit greasy. My dish was spectacular! I got the Carolina Steak kabobs. I don't usually like to get the same dish twice, but I'm definitely going back for these! They came with peppers and onions and Florentine rice -perfection! We finished with lemon Italian crème cake. So good! The service is top notch, just the right balance between letting us enjoy and checking to see if we need anything. It's a tiny bit noisy but great for a date, night out with friends.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. It's located in plainville, towards the back of a business park. There was ample parking and the area had plenty of lighting. When we got there we had to wait around 30 minutes to be seated because the restaurant was full. The restaurant was cozy and had a very local feeling, if that makes sense. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I waited 1 hour for my food. We were going to walk out that's how long we had to wait. No complimentary bread, nothing. They just ignore you. Finally we got our food and it was all really good in my opinion. The service not so much.

The delicious dessert, " wicked huge brownie sundae". This is beyond delicious !

Great food, great people, and an awesome ownership. Owners that really care and work hard at their community. Clean, fun and really enjoyable.

Mac & Cheese with scant pulled pork, mostly bread crumbs

So why only one star? We have limited funds and really look forward to when we can go out as a family. One or two flubs are understandable. When so many things are neglected as well as sub par it is impossible to give grace. If the manager does respond to this review to this I say, you missed your opportunity when we were sitting in front of you. You were well aware that we had concerns and did zero to make amends in the moment. We really wanted to like this place. It had a welcoming feel when we walked in, and then events unfolded. What follows are what made up a portion of our complaints. There were smaller infractions not described here. 1. They brought our apps drop them on the table and ran. We didn't have knives and when we couldn't get anyone's attention we got our own from a basket on the bar. 2. Three of the mains arrived and again it was a drop and run. As that food got cold we waited for 5 more minutes for the fourth meal. We had to quickly say that we wanted mustard and more drinks, as the server was making another speedy exit. 2. The Mac & Cheese with pulled pork had scant pulled pork and we just okay, which would be the theme for the entire meal. 3. The meat lovers pizza was over done. 4. The meat on the Ruben was gray, and looked and tasted more like roast beef than corned beef. Finally, they dropped the check and ran. After waiting 10 minutes, I timed it, visibly frustrated, my husband brought it to the bar. No one, at any point, asked if there was an issue, or even asked if everything was okay. It was obvious that the tables were not a priority. Overall this was a disappointing experience, one that we will not soon repeat

Nice place first time there. I ordered the baked haddock on 6/20/2025 at about 7:30 pm. Got about half way through the fish then found black spots in the meat of the fish which means that the fish had diseased parasite. when i brought to the attention of our server she brought back to the chef and he said that it was a clump of pepper.it was not. When i got home it bother me on the excuse. I called restaurant and asked for the manager they said that the owner would call me latter that night. Still waiting for the call.

Blue Moon and Cranberry Margarita

This place really exceeded our expectations. We hadn't made solid plans for dinner out and dropped by here in case there was any availability. We were lucky to get a couple bar seats. Had a fantastic meal and cocktails here! I had the steak tips, mashed potatoes and asparagus/mushrooms/tomatoes/garlic. Probably the best vegetable side dish I've ever had. Incredible flavor. The mashed potatoes were amazing and the tips were cooked perfectly (med rare). The tips come in 3 sizes: 8 oz, 16 oz and 20 oz. I got the 8 oz. and it was perfect. My SO had the prime rib special and he loved it. The cranberry margarita was huge and delicious (not too sweet) and a key lime martini was the perfect dessert. Good beers on tap. Friendly service. Will absolutely be going back again very soon!

I had no idea they do buck-a-shuck oysters on Sundays during football season. If I'd known earlier, I definitely would've been here all season long! We grabbed a dozen and they were fresh, cold, and delicious. Our server, Karen, was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. She convinced me to try the beef vegetable soup, and I'm so glad she did. She mentioned that the beef comes from the ends of their filet mignon -- and honestly, it was the best beef vegetable soup I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, and she even split it into two cups since we were sharing. Such a thoughtful touch! Before we left, my boyfriend wanted to gamble a bit, so I planned to take another glass of wine onto the casino floor. I told Karen I wanted to try something different, and she surprised me with a mini wine tasting of three options. I ended up choosing a wine I never would've tried on my own -- and loved it. Karen truly made the experience special. Stellar service, great food, and awesome vibes. We will definitely be back!

Let's do deets: FC has a HUGE menu -the sushi offerings alone is more volumous than the Chemical Abstracts library. The place is basic decor wise with some bric-a-brac items peppered about and gingham tablecloths which are fun and festive. They got tons of seafood offerings and much more... Let's get down to the Pladder. It was 38 bucks and had O-rings AND Fries and Fish and Scallops and Clam Strips as well as FBCs and Shrimps and it was wicked kankle and thunder-thigh inducing. Simply immense and even daintily adorned with a fresh flower. The fried batter was not at all greasy and was light and floury as opposed to heavy and oily. This Pladder is not for gastronomic wussies and is most certainly not to be trifled with, bro. My One had a Quahog Stuffie and got The Twins. Nice n' fresh since they got a live tank here, bro. Service is good here and prices are quite reasonable as well, bro. This was by far the mostest biggest Seafood Pladder I have encountered in my 60 years of sowing down Pladders. Peep it out, YELPers. Four-month-old modern looking authentic Chinese eatery in a Route 140 shopping center offering…read moredumplings, noodles, dim sum dishes, and a slew of authentic Sichuan entrees. Spacious seating, with many booths and a long bar. Reasonable pricing, with all but a few items under $20. Easy parking. Seafood Pastry: Unique item, flaky outer shell (think phyllo dough), and a moist filling with chunks of softer seafood, with shrimp the predominant flavor. Good mouthfeel, good flavor, and something new. Fried Pork Buns: A favorite dish of mine, and theirs are unique in that there's much more meat, the meat is incredibly tender, and the filling doesn't separate from the buns. Nice thin lacy "skirt" that forms from contact with the frying surface. Good flavor, good texture (browned bao dough different from Peking ravioli), great dish. Elite. Soup Dumplings: Perfectly cooked, perfectly filled (pork and slurpable soup), and good flavor. Served with a different soy-based dipping sauce from the pork buns. Really no negative here, but nothing distinguishing from other good ones I've had. Pork with Sweet Bean Sauce: Shredded strands of stir-fried pork with a sweet bean sauce. Think hoisin sauce but not quite as sweet. Some strips of greenery provide flavor and texture contrast to this 99% meat dish. Served with four pancakes similar to mooshi for do-it-yourself wraps. Solid item as long as you like sweet. Twice Fried Pork: One of my "barometer" dishes I try at any first-time visit to a Sichuan restaurant, and Time Travel knocked it out of the park. Bacony strips on the cusp of crisp with great flexibility to match the alluring flavor. Thin-cut leeks for extra complexity and contrast, perfectly worked into the mix. Appealing heat that tingled with every bite, but wasn't trying to blow your face off. The perfect mix of flavor and heat, and of meat and vegetable. Easily elite and my favorite dish so far. Boiled Beef in Spicy Broth: Some of the most velvety, tender beef I ever had, boiled or not. The sauce it was sitting in had plenty of heat and flavor throughout, though not as spicy as it looked. Dried chilies, minced garlic and cilantro added to the equation if desired. Stunning and a dish I'll return to for sure. Veggie Dumplings: Tender green exterior and a soft and tasty interior of tofu and mushrooms. Good mouthfeel, much different from crumbly veggie dumplings. Asparagus Lettuce Salad: A cold item with a tall mound of long, thin, shaved strips they're calling asparagus, but technically it's a Chinese vegetable called celtus. Crisp and refreshing, with hints of vinegar and hot oil, and way more than a hint of garlic. Scallion Pancake: Very good batter flavor, great crispness, and light enough to not fill you up before the entrees. Even though the sauce didn't have ginger, it's darker and thicker than most, and a little tangy. Garlic Wings: Their standard wings, tossed in the same sauce they use for Garlic Eggplant. Tasty stuff, even inside. Saucing a little spicy but mostly sweet. Sizzling Fish in Spicy Oil: A gigantic bowl and an absolute bargain, with the fish large, tender, and infused with the spicy oil. Thin sauce, brothy texture, and not as oily as most. Plenty of dried chiles. Very enjoyable. Eggplant in Garlic Sauce: Bright purple vegetable, likely fried (without batter) to get them bacony crisp on the outside, while lusciously tender inside. It's loaded with little garlic bits, thick, and more sweet than garlicky, making it approachable for American palates. Spicy and Sour Potatoes: Solid rendition, with matchstick-like shreds of droopy but al dente potato, with both heat and sourness present, but less sour than most. Taro Puff Pastry: This is an absolute must at the end of the meal. Served hot, crispy, flaky and with a mildly sweet hot taro filling. I can't imagine a superior version. Service: This was another strong suit, handled by two young, affable men who doubled as kitchen staff. You've got to love having a server who not only brings you the food but who also has a hand in making it and who knows the menu firsthand, able to answer questions about ingredients and dish composition. Great guys. If you're looking for something authentic, fresh, and different, without going to Chinatown, this is an exciting new place that's worth a drive.

Decor wise, there's not much to write home about. Outdated with lots of wood but, hey, it's a pub. Which is why I didn't expect fancy restaurant prices. The evening started out fine. Our friendly young server brought us a basket of warm Irish soda bread with real Irish butter, which was delicious. Our water was served in cute logo glasses. Strangely enough, the beverage menu listed wine prices but not cocktail prices. And we wanted Margaritas, which weren't listed. When we asked our server, she immediately said they didn't offer them. Since they have a full bar, we asked why. I honestly don't think she knew what a Margarita was. She said she'd ask the bartender & came back to tell us they could make them. We asked the price. Again, she had to find out... $12. We agreed, but when she returned with two drinks in Old Fashioned glasses, I refused mine. The drink was literally 4 sips! My dining companion kept hers & said it was nicely made but not worth the price. I ordered a ginger ale instead ($3). We both ordered fish & chips ($21) and, again, were disappointed with what we received for the price. The chips appeared to be hand cut & were tasty, but the small, thin fish fillets were breaded in what I believe was cornmeal. Edible but certainly not what you'd expect from an Irish pub. Where's the beer batter? Neither of us liked the tiny cup of coleslaw. Afterwards, we asked for a dessert menu. Again, no prices. There were three desserts & several coffee drinks listed. We opted for Irish coffees ($13) and were pleased with the coffee, whiskey, brown sugar and fresh whipped cream concoctions. With tax & tip, the total bill came to $105.76, way too much for this kind of place. And, they ended up charging us $13 for that mini-Margarita. Whatever. We won't be back.

Deep red walls, wide-plank floors, framed portraits of people long gone, a fireplace; this place has the kind of character you simply can't manufacture. Add a live jazz duo playing piano and upright bass in the corner and the atmosphere is close to perfect. We settled in at the bar, which has a decent whiskey selection, and started with cocktails. We also shared the kale and butternut squash salad; we asked them to add a goat cheese medallion from their spinach salad, and honestly it was the right call. That bright, creamy note was exactly what the salad needed...or maybe what I needed. I do love fried goat cheese on a salad. Either way, it was perfect. Then came the cranberry rolls, which were the quiet star of the afternoon; crunchy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. Don't skip these. For mains, I had the breakfast skillet, which is essentially everything but the kitchen sink loaded into a cast iron pan. Heavily loaded with meat (Arby's would be jealous), homefried potatoes with satisfying crusty bits, a couple over medium eggs, and served sizzling hot. The cheese sauce draped over the top was lighter than you'd expect, landing somewhere between a béarnaise and a classic cheese sauce; it kept the whole thing from getting too heavy. It took a while to work through, and that's not a complaint. My partner had the butternut squash and brown butter sage ravioli. It was well-cooked, flavorful, not too rich, though a little more sage would have put it over the top. The bartender had a good sense of humor and clearly knew his way around the bar. The problem was that he was doing too much; he appeared to be his own bar back, serving the six people at the bar, waiting on the tables within the lounge area, and it appeared he was covering other tables outside of the lounge area as well. He was often away, and with salad plates, appetizer plates, and menus sitting in front of us long after they were needed, the clutter added up. Pre-bussing costs nothing and makes a real difference. Tighten up the staffing model and this place is a very easy five. If you're in the area, you should stop in and check it out for yourself. I'm not sure if the jazz duo on Sunday brunch is a regular occurrence, but if it is, you should definitely make a point of it. They were wrapping up around 2:30-3:00 and it made the whole afternoon feel like something a little more special than just brunch.

Rollatini was good, salad was umm interesting - had a ton of fruit on it with a dressing I didn't love but it wasn't bad, just not sure I'd get it again. Onto the entrees - everyone really enjoyed their meals (short ribs and seafood cardinale) except me lol. My side pasta with pink vodka was good but my Chicken Rossini (labeled as a staff favorite) wasn't bad, it just had a flavor I didn't care for, a little bit of salt did help it but I wouldn't get it again.
