The good little taco doesn't say enough! The dorados taco was devoured in 2.5 seconds. Since this was my first visit, I tried a little bit of everything. The sope, rolled taco tostada and the dorado taco. Of my choices, my favorite was the dorado taco hands down. Huge fan of their flautas de papa! So glad they can customize your order (vegan/vegetarian). I've also requested the sopes with just beans & veggies because the salsa makes everything so flavorful. They are pretty speedy to taking phone orders (I am a regular when I'm town.) Only down side they didn't take my order over the phone as they are now requiring payment up front. Ok, Shoes is in Yuma this week. I was hungry so I went here for some take out. I got 4 Tacos Dorado @ $2.55 each. Ouch! The service was really quick. The people are friendly. The place is very clean and modern. They are expanding, and they even got a certificate from the City of Yuma for beautifying 8th St. This make me wonder why the City made everyone in the area put trash cans in front of their houses, instead of continuing to use perfectly good alleys. Anyway I got back and poured hot sauce on the first taco. YUMMY! Then the second, third, and fourth. I could have kept eating. They were great! The hot sauce was perfect. I didn't see guacamole on the so I asked and of course they had guacamole and it was fantastic! What makes this place so busy and great is its simplicity and awesome food. Small menu ensures everything is hot and fresh. Couple that will a sparking clean restaurants and great service and that is why it's so busy. I ordered tostadas, rolled tacos, dorado tacos, and a flauta with a Diet Coke since they don't have iced tea. They do have have lemonade. The dorado style taco is a crunchy shell with simmered beef and lettuce and cojita cheese with these amazing pickled onions. The tostada is like a flat version of the taco (same beef) but with a layer of creamy beans as a base. Both of these are piping hot and fantastic! I have never like rolled beef (same beef) tacos that are not covered in cheese and guacamole. I would get these again maybe without the lettuce. As for a flauta people in Yuma love them and I think they are a mashed potatoes in a rolled taco. I'll pass. read more

El Buen Taquito is probably the biggest reason that I'm glad I don't live in Yuma. If I did, I'd gain 50 pounds in no time just from eating here. It's so good. I'm not sure if I mentioned this...but it's so good. I don't care that they don't have a larger menu. I don't care that they only have one salsa. I don't care that beef is the only meat option. This is one of the most disappointing establishments in Yuma. It had potential when it first opened but since then the owners have made enough revenue to grow into a 4 wall eating diner. Thus leading them to spend less and less money on their ingredients and the dishes have suffered because of this. Over salted, over cooked, tacos and dishes that have gone up more and more in price each time I visit. They don't even have deals for buying large quantities of tacos for parties, each taco/flauta is sold individually when they used to offer bundle pricing. This place has the most simpilice menu, but the best. The tacos dorados were my favorite until I had the rolled tacos. Now I'm in love with these rolled tacos that are my new Mexican food craving.
