had a lot of fun staying here over a weekend. it was doing a promotion, still expensive but i assime the price would be even steeper during the holiday season, but hey let's be honest we're paying the price for the location! It's a good place to crash if you want to do some barhopping in the West Hollywood area. it is just a few blocks away from the noisiest street and far enough so I slept OK. I had a few friends over to hang out at the courtyard in the evening and the staffs were nice enough to turn on the heater even though the restaurant that the courtyard belongs to was already closed. there was a huge jug of water at the corner of the courtyard, was not clear that if it is for the patrons lol. The room is small yes, but I do appreciate all the cute design details that they put in to make the room ergonomic and comfortable. I really like that lamp on the nightstand. A really nice rooftop lounge area on the third or fourth floor I forgot, great views of the city but you have to be careful, when I was there there was a lot of condensation on the lounge bed cushion so you better feel it first to make sure it's not wet before you sit on it and get your cocktail dress ruined.

This is a quaint no frills hotel. It has great staff, Thanks. I didn't know anything about this hotel when I Booked it. No elevators or ice machine. The med was large & comfortable! I had a terrace room which was great. I happen to enjoy music from the restaurant below. The staff were so great! They carried my luggage up the stairs. I hade trouble with the Keyless entry & they were so helpful! I loved the fact they had a refrigerator in the rooms. I was initially disappointed in the place. It's not fancy, but you can't put a price on their WONDERFUL STAFF -- Gwen, Angela & Marissa! The gentlemen who helped with my luggage. Thank you for all your help. I stayed in Rm 33 1/31/24

What a bad experience. The rooms here are SMALL. I reserved a 1 bedroom, and the photo showed a living room and bedroom, but when arriving, it definitely was NOT the same room. The room was soooo tiny and the restroom was like a little closet. The door lock to my room stopped working during my stay, and took over 30 minutes to get into the room each time I wanted to come back. I decided, based on this, to get a different hotel since they said they were sold out and couldn't move me. I packed my stuff and left. Later, they offered me a 50% refund. Why do they think 50% discount is acceptable when I had to get another hotel room at a different place because their door lock didn't work? Very odd service for a hotel chain. Update. After reaching out to three people and messaging them on social media, they decided to issue full refund. Thank you Sonder team for helping to escalate the issue.

Stayed here for two nights during Pride weekend in West Hollywood. It is the cutest boutique hotel I've stayed at! The outdoor spaces were adorable, loved that there was a restaurant on-site, and the staff was fantastic! Really easy to talk to everyone and overall, I felt very welcomed and safe. The room was smaller than expected but it was incredibly comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed + more. The code to my door didn't work at first but the team was on top of it and did not leave my side until the issue was resolved. Again, super well taken care of. The location was perfect for my needs as it was walking distance to food and entertainment. This was a really fun and relaxing trip because I didn't have to worry about anything during my stay here. Ending the day and returning to my room felt like coming back home. Thank you Sonder and Hotel Staff!!

Our teacups were refilled before we realized they needed to be. Our food allergies were met with ease and grace. It was the first time dining out that we did not feel extra attention given to the table for our food allergies. Daniel simply named our allergen free replacements without over explanation or extra attention, just as he presented the other tiered trays to our table. How lovely to feel as though our allergens were just taken "par for the course" and we weren't made to feel as though are needs were subject to commentary. We did have a frustrating element of our experience. 3/4 of our party had leftovers, which the service team packaged out of sight. Each of us received leftovers and the individual Peninsula cake in a bag. My adult daughter didn't have leftovers, so she didn't receive a bag, so she didn't receive her cake. We noticed after we had retreated beyond the lobby. At that time my daughter didn't want to go back and make a fuss with one of the employees and quite frankly I didn't blame her. It felt like a faux pas to go ask someone for a cake that should have been given to her already. Especially when we spent $700 for the experience. At that price - at any price - we should receive every element included in the tea service. There's no excuse to omit one of the featured elements of the tea. I'm quite frustrated by this Less Than 5-Star Service and there's no recourse for us. It's not like we can just zip on down to collect a cake that should have already been given to us. We live over 2 hours away! This once-in-a-lifetime event, as delightful as it was, has been marred by the lack of service demonstrated by the fact that every member of our party did not receive the cake we paid for, were promised, and were very much looking forward to.

For nearly $500 per night, I expected the beautiful boutique hotel that was advertised. Instead, after check-in, we were taken to a completely separate building across the street that looked nothing like the property shown in the photos. It felt more like an old apartment building converted into a motel. The room contained little more than a bed, a nightstand, and a TV. It was completely different from what had been advertised. We immediately returned to the front desk and refused to stay. We left and booked another hotel that same night. When I requested a refund, I was denied. As a result, we lost $500 for a room we never even stayed in. Afterward, I found numerous guest complaints describing experiences similar to ours. What surprised me even more was seeing negative reviews followed by dozens of perfect 10/10 ratings, which raises serious questions. This experience felt misleading from start to finish. Guests should receive the hotel they were shown and paid for, not a completely different building across the street. What is especially disappointing is that these complaints are clearly not new, yet nothing seems to change. The hotel appears fully aware of these recurring issues but makes no meaningful effort to resolve them or accommodate affected guests.

I was recently told that I have had 151 different stays here, and that alone says everything. This is my all-time favorite hotel in the Beverly Hills area, and it continues to impress me every single time I return. From the moment I arrive, the service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They do not just recognize me as a guest; they make me feel like part of the hotel family. The valet team and the doormen are incredible. They know exactly what I like, they remember my preferences, and they often have everything ready before I even get to the hotel. That level of personal attention and consistency is extremely rare, even at luxury hotels. The property itself is elegant, comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. It has the perfect balance of Beverly Hills sophistication and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are always well-prepared, housekeeping is excellent, and the entire hotel feels polished without ever feeling cold or impersonal. The food is another major reason I love this hotel. The menu is absolutely amazing, and you can tell it was created with real care and quality. I understand that the menu was designed by a former chef from a Michelin-level restaurant, and it absolutely shows. The ingredients are top quality, the dishes are thoughtful and delicious, and everything feels elevated. The room service is especially impressive: fast, accurate, beautifully presented, and consistently excellent. It is honestly some of the best hotel room service I have experienced anywhere. What separates this hotel from so many others is consistency. After 151 different stays, I can say with confidence that this team delivers again and again. The service, food, valet, rooms, atmosphere, and overall hospitality are all outstanding. It is very difficult for a hotel to maintain that level of excellence over time, but this property does it. As someone who travels often and has experienced many Marriott properties, this hotel stands out as one of my favorites. It feels like a home away from home, and the team deserves a tremendous amount of credit for making every stay feel personal and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Beverly Hills area. It is truly a special place, and I will continue coming back every chance I get.

This hotel is only about 15 min walk or so from Rodeo. (I wouldn't recommend you walking at night but during the day time or even early evenings like 6-7pm. I would be fine. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area. The reason it got 4-Stars instead of 5-Stars is due to the following: -Fitness Center: Extremely Small. I appreciate they did a deep clean before my arrival, but the carpet was still damp and the room smelled so heavily of cleaning solutions...I checked in at nearly 9pm so I don't know why it was still like this. Also the no elevator thing really, really sucked as a solo female traveler. I was constantly in stairwells trying to make sure no one would follow me or corner me.
