Nectarines I'm picking from the trees today
    Catherine S.

I went to spend time with a volunteer group from church. It was a lot of fun. We were helping them to get the food off the trees before it was too late. It was at least 25 of us. I think that did it. I worked in a nectarine aisle, and then two other girls did peaches and a bunch of people did apples . It was lots of fun. Had a really good time. They're always looking volunteers to help. It was a great way to meet people connect with new friends. Your businesses doing fairly well family member has reopened it thank goodness. We all he was so concerned I was gonna end up being bought over by someone who didn't care about the land they would end up building houses or something on it but luckily that did not happen. The girl making all the pies, etc. on the property she is actually a local girl from the area. Went to King Phillip the high school here and she has now working for the farm. Everything she makes looks amazing. It's all delicious fresh made from scratch meat right in house. You can't go on well worth the trip. Whether it be by yourself or bring your family for a nice day of picking apples and having a treat a great way to make memories.

The Big Apple is coming back to life under a new generation of ownership! We had an awesome picking apples and enjoying the old timet experience.

Cool! Driving around, we stumbled upon this place and just had to stop in after seeing the orchard and inviting facade. It's a small shop with many items like jellies, syrups, homemade pickles, baked goods, fresh fruit & veggies and APPLES of course! So we ended up buying a ton of different things and I just had a slice of the pie. My oh my was it yummy!! Crust is thin and the pie if FILLED with fresh crispy apple. Warmed mine up and topped it with a scoop of ice cream - wow! I definitely liked all the variety they had here...and the apple picking will begin in September! There's also a cool board listing all the types of apples they have and their characteristics (crisp, sweet, tart, good for pie, etc.) Stop by if you can! I am taking a star away because they only take cash or check - and we didn't have either. They DO have an ATM at the back of the store but it will charge you a card fee of $2.75 to withdraw. Anyway, BRING CASH!

Went on our way home as this is between our place and the DMV. Got a few bags of apples and some delicious donuts and Brussels sprouts. Was planning to go back but just read the previous review. Shame on you for allowing your employees to mock a deadly global pandemic. Healthcare workers like myself and my ED/ICU colleagues risk our lives to take care of our patients. If you get infected, we will take care of you regardless of your ignorance. Because that is our job. But reading about that "hoax" mask makes my blood boil. A true slap in the face. So demoralizing. I will not return.

If you're a newbie to this place, take my advice, cause I had a learning curve when I came this past weekend. The main barn that you come up to is not where you pick apples. You can park here and pay $3 per person to take a hayride to the orchard, or you can drive past the barn (on your left) and take the next street on your left to get to the orchard yourself. If you drive there yourself, there will be signs to guide you and at the top of the hill where will be people selling bags ($15 small bag, $25 big bag). What I liked: Their caramel apples are the bomb. They're loaded with caramel and somehow even easy to eat. They also have a bunch of pickle barrels with homemade pickles. Awesome. What I didn't like: Utter confusion trying to find where the hell to pick apples, terrible signage. There are signs that say "$3 hayrides" but also signs for pony rides, so you don't assume a hayride = getting to the orchard. Also, they serve their apple cider donuts cold. But hey, I'm a fall festivities snob! Oh and the trees were all over-picked. It's the beginning of the season and there were NO cortland apples, the trees were bare, except for the tippy tops, but they'll holler at you if you climb. All in all I liked this place. They have apples, apple cider, apple cider doughnuts and caramel apples which are all must-haves for an apple farm in the fall.

    Hayride!

Sort of expensive for apples. Picking area was closed, but if you have nothing to do, good place for a weekend"something to do area"

It's really that bad. We go if we need some steaks only because other stores are shaving their steaks down to slivers. But it'll cost ya. The produce is really bad, usually old and rubbery. Go to Market Basket for better produce. Usually if we are making a steak dinner we buy all the ingredients at Market Basket and then come here to buy the steak. Everything here is about 10 to 20 percent higher cost. And it's obvious, the place is usually empty, you'll never see a lot of customers in this store.

The sandwich looked and smelled great, but things went a little sideways. They were out of blue cheese for the panini, which happens -- no big deal. I even offered to grab a package from the cheese section myself, but was told that wasn't allowed. So American cheese it was. The real disappointment was the Italian. The salami still had the casing (skin) on it, and it was completely unchewable. I ended up having to peel it off slice by slice, which totally killed the experience. Nothing ruins a good-looking sandwich faster than fighting it just to take a bite. I'm sure I'll be back -- Big Y is usually solid -- but maybe not during the dinner rush. Attention to small details like this really matters. Big Y, do better.

HOW TF YOU GONNA TELL ME I CANT USE SOMETHING YOUR MFKING STORE IF ITS GOT YOUR LOGO AND I HAD SOMEONE PAY FOR IT AND ITS A LEGIT GIFT CARD? They looked at me like was basically a criminal while in there. Like tf yo? So anyways called corporate they converted it to a physical gift card for me. Now here's the kick in the cards for yall... apparently from what corporate told me that they've had anarchy in them choosing what stores are accepting e cards. In my opinion they should be shut down if they dont wanna follow company policies. You're all under the same corporate umbrella your all union i know how it works cause I worked for another supermarket chain for 13 yrs and never heard of such an asinine policy. You let your stores choose if they're gonna accept e cards gtfo here. Its legit company purchase. Next time I come in and that's a big if at this point.. dont follow me around like I'm a criminal or anything dont worry your product looks like trash anyway and not worth stealing to be honest. Clean it up and maybe people will start shopping here again and maybe you won't have to keep closing so many stores too. Just a word of advice.
