Yes, the biscuit is indeed big, but the gravy is substandard in my opinion. The gravy is pretty bland and just really didn't have a good home made sausage gravy taste at all. My family went in for lunch today and used the Yelp check in to be seated more quickly (genius). First off, it was very clean and we were seated promptly. Our waitress, Olivia, was fantastic! She made suggestions for us and interacted with my kids instead of ignoring them like most servers. My 8 month old had a mini meltdown due to smacking her mouth on the table and another server even offered their help. The staff went above and beyond. Now on the food! FOOOOD! Huge portions and it was delicious. We had about a 20-25 minute wait for our food and we order 4 meals and the place was packed. I had the steak finger basket which was perfectly seasoned. It had a small kick but not enough to burn your mouth. My daughter grilled cheese was made with two different cheeses! Everything was exceptional and we were offered to go drinks and boxes and the table was cleared promptly so dishes never piled up. In conclusion, we will definitely be back! The Big Biscuit did not disappoint! As the name suggests, the portions were massive! I was impressed with the staff efficiency as it is opening weekend and we were there during the after church rush. The Titanic omelet will leave you (ship)wrecked! It is flavorful and fresh! The Big Bang burger packs a punch & is HUGE; had to be cut in half to manage successfully. Had breakfast here Saturday with several friends. The biscuits are huge! I had biscuits and gravy with the home fries. The B & G was really good, the gravy had good flavor. The home fries were a different story. They weren't cooked on the grill, they were cooked in the deep fryer. They were blah, no seasoning no flavor really. I should have ordered the hashbrowns. Over all it was good, the only real knock is it's a bit pricey. $10.99 for the B & G and tasteless potatoes. read more

The food was fine. I arrived at 12:15 and seated myself as did a person before me - it took over 10 min for someone to acknowledge me as 4 servers stood behind the counter arguing whose table it was. A person cleaning tables said he would get someone for me since he had passed me a few times. Server came and without looking at me asked what I wanted to drink and walked away as I told her- it was not busy and she had 1 table before me and one that came in after me. Several servers continued to talk behind the counter. Took my order - good came quickly however; my salad was served in a hot bowl and was delivered again without acknowledgement of my presence- No refills on my drink or check back on my meal - she ask how much meal was as she stood with her back to me as she dug around for my bill. read more

Honest review: I am not impressed with the restaurant. The only thing I really enjoyed was the decor. My biscuit was hard on the outside and soft in the middle.. leaving me to scrap the inside of the biscuit in order to eat it. The sausage gravy tasted canned. I really did not care for it and Hardee's makes a better biscuit and gravy. I had the country fried steak that ended up being grisly and I had to chew forever to eat it. I had an ice water due to the fact coffee was $3! Soda was $2.89! Wtheck! While not enjoying my food, or rather trying to eat it so I didn't waste the $13 I would be spending on my grisly food, there were a few health code violations. Including the guy bussing tables... who SNEEZED 4 times in his open hands, wiped the snot on his shirt, and proceeded to wipe tables down!!!! That took the whole already bad experience over the top! Disgusting! I will not be back. Employees... you really need to up your game and remember there are those who watch everything around them.. besides just eating. read more

Dined in for two on a Sunday morning. We had text our name in line prior to arriving. We were greeted and then escorted to our table. Atmosphere was pleasant, restaurant had a lot of natural lighting, lots of customer, well staffed and clean. Me I had great options from breakfast to lunch. Food choices looked promising. I ordered the big breakfast with both sausage and bacon with that includes eggs, potatoes and a side of biscuit of gravy. I also added on pancakes to try. My dish was pretty plain. It was your basic breakfast. Bacon was cooked amazingly if I may add. Crispy but a little chewy. Pancakes were good. My significant other ordered the yard bird and the Bonut. The yard bird is a crispy chicken breast topped with gravy between biscuits. Tasty and some juicy but could've used more flavor in the batter. I think the star of the breakfast was the Bonut. Very tasty ! They could go lighter on the powdered sugar , it doesn't need that much plus it goes everywhere. I give it a four for atmosphere, portion size and Olivia. Olivia was great and friendly. We had a wonderful breakfast in this cozy restaurant. We were greeted by friendly staff and the service was fast and courteous. I had Eggs Florentine Benedict. It was delicious. The poached eggs were perfectly done and the hollandaise sauce was delicious. Other people in our group had omelets and biscuits and gravy which they thought was delicious. Terrible service. It took over an hour to get our food despite there being only one other table in the restaurant. The wait was made even more frustrating when it was obvious my dish had been sweltering under a hot lamp for at least twenty minutes. Also, our waitress never once checked on us for drink refills or anything else. To top it all off, the food we ordered to go for my father was so bad it was inedible. We were very excited to try the new restaurant in town. I was planning on reviewing the restaurant on Campbell however I never really got a chance. My wife and I came for breakfast Sunday morning at 7:45am and were seated. There were approximately 15 servers in the restaurant and possibly 20 customers seated. We were given menus by the hostess and sat waiting, but and no one ever came over. The manager walked by us twice and never acknowledged us either. We waited about 10 minutes and then left. We told the hostess that no one ever came over and she said, "oh OK sorry", So we left and went to another establishment. read more

Great food but the wait time is ridiculous. This morning for instance, we waited over 10 minutes when there were MULTIPLE empty, clean tables. The table we were finally sat at had been empty since we had walked in the door. I asked the manager about it and his answer was they did not want to overload the kitchen. I would much rather have a cup of coffee at my table than stand at the door with a crowd of people waiting for my table. read more

First time here. Seating & service were prompt. It's a bit slow on this Friday morning as there are several staff standing around at the counter. Coffee was strong & hot. Silverware was not clean. My favorite breakfast place!! There is usually always a wait but you can put your name on the waitlist with the yelp app so that's a huge plus. It's always been clean and there hasn't seemed to have been a shortage of wait staff which is much appreciated.
