I went in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was not busy at all. I bellied up to the bar and was thrilled to see the local selection of draft beer. The bartender was more than friendly and we talked about all of the different beers they had on the menu. He offered samples of anything I wanted and so I opted for a flight. The beer was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the bartender fantastic. I had the "BReuben" for lunch and it was incredible! A bratwurst wrapped in pizza dough with sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing. SO GOOD! Fast forward to a week later. I brought the grandson there and we shared te Witches Warts (cheese curds) and they were awesome. The staff, as before, was more than friendly! I cannot recommend this place enough. The owners decided to find something unique in the lakes region of New Hampshire and they came up with the Winnie rum shack. It is a Caribbean rum and beer bar with fantastic options and service. So many different rums you couldn't count them all. Amazing outdoor deck space for groups and I can't wait to come here during the summer to enjoy a refreshing beverage on the deck. Turns out, they're fairly new and a welcomed addition to an area that's primarily filled with biker bars. It's all outdoor seating and the vibes are on point. Gorgeous wood tables, larger wrap-around booths with built in fire pits, bar seating, tea lights, and more. They're also completely dog friendly so feel free to bring your furry friends! The prices are a little more "city" in the middle of the lake region which is the only downfall, but you get what you pay for and everything was incredible! We started with margaritas which were fresh and flavorful. At $15, it's the most I've paid for a margarita really anywhere besides NYC, but it was very good. You could taste (and see) the real lime juice - no mix here. We then decided to order a little bit of everything: from the infamous house fries, to tacos, and fried chicken sliders. Everything was AMAZING. Each item was fresh and you could taste all the flavors in each dish! I can't get over how incredible everything was! Staff was so sweet and friendly. We came on a Monday evening in the summer and got a table easily. It's first come first served but there are plenty of options and an area to just hang out while you wait for a table to open. I actually had a $25 gift certificate to The Lodge At Belmont from a local radio station in my possession for almost a year. I decided to use it tonight on a very rainy Monday night. Blues-ology was pretty quiet with just a handful of patrons here and one bartender running the floor. This bar has the atmosphere of a Southern style blue-sy themed sports bar with plenty of TVs (though not on) lined up along the high ceilings, big screen TV at the bar, digital jukebox, video game machines, electronic darts, and classic music memorabilia on the walls (Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, Stones,...) . It sort of felt like being in Mississippi, but there was actually pop and r&b playing over the speakers, so I felt at right at home in Central NH. There's seating up at the bar and table seating. A small group of women (no hubbys) at the next table were really having a great time playing several rounds of electronic darts over beers. The food menu is the standard pub fare of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salads, chili, chicken tenders, and steak tips. The bar is fully stocked and several beers on tap and bottle are offered. Miller Lite bottles are $2 all the time. The nachos were a big meal in itself and I was almost already full by the time the other food items arrived. The Lodge Club (triple decker) had plenty of thin sliced deli ham & turkey, crisp bacon strps, crisp lettuce, tomato slices, cheese, and mayo on toasted bread. The hand cut fries were on the soft side though and not salted (thanks!). The Hawaiian Pizza (10") with a firm chewy crust very generous amounts of thin sliced deli ham, pineapple, & melted cheese & sauce piled on good! The bartender was courteous and the service was laid back with staged delivery of the food to my table. I had the pizza boxed to go and given a box to pack up much of the food I did not finish. The $25 gift certificate was honored and the remaining total was only $4.40 with tax and before tip. Overall, I got plenty of food with my gift certificate. 3.70/5.00 stars

The clearly didn't use butter and milk to make it creamy and rich. The side of beans was in a little cup and tasted like they were from a can. No onion gravy that you normally find on this dish. My stomach was doing cartwheels last night and not feeling great this morning. My friend had beef stew and seriously it looked like all gravy. Not hearty at all. He said it was okay. There is even a fusball table to pass the time. This is a seat yourself kind of place - but that means the waitstaff has extra work on their hands. We waited a bit to order - but the kids passed the time on their phones. The menu is very limited. They warn you as such at the entrance. Pretty much pizza and wings only. But they do have a few apps. We got the onion rings and focaccia baskets and they came in very large very shareable baskets. The onions rings were fried perfectly. Nice and crispy and not too oily. The focaccia bread sticks were ok. They could have used some garlic butter or something on them. The dipping sauce was plain canned tomato sauce - which would have actually paired the focaccia well IF the focaccia has some oil and seasonings on it. Focaccia texture was good though - but not something I would order again. We didn't finish the basket The main highlight was the personally sized pizzas. It is hard to find a place that makes personal sized pizzas. I got the Hot Bianca and it was spicy deliciousness. The boys got meatlovers and the chicken ranch and loved them as well. I honestly have no idea why this place only has three stars. Though when surveying the fam they pointed out that they are used to thin crust pizza, and this pizza is on the thicker side. So if you like thin crust pizza, this may not be the place for you.
