The absolute worst communication ever. The original quote made by Andrea didn't line up with the written quote. I received an updated verbal quote but never received the written. The work was beautiful but at 95% completed, they stopped showing up and stopped communicating. I had to request a meeting through the public calendar to get a response. Andrea visited, apologized, offered to go with me to purchase plants for them to finish the backyard and that they'd do maintenance on my front yard. The pergola they installed broke and fell the first heavy wind and they tried to bill be separately for that install when it was part of the original quote. My drip system for the front yard isn't working now, due to whatever they did when landscaping the backyard. I don't know who to trust going forward. They seemed genuinely nice and professional at first then 100% ghosted me. read more

I'm saddened that I had to downgrade the review after two large projects that went superbly. After the two landscape design projects that I was extremely happy about, I contacted them again to see if they would take on a monthly maintenance yard work. They said yes, came twice, did wonderful job both times. Then they quit coming. Since it was the winter time, I thought they decided that we didn't need any clean ups, which really wasn't true. But I waited until the spring, then contacted them again. Andrea said that sure, they were interested (which, itself is a bit weird; I thought we had an ongoing contract??), they'd come over on Monday, and NO SNOW. Made another appointment, and ANOTHER NO SHOW. I don't understand why they could treat a customer who spent a lot of money with them this way. That's beyond rude. If they were too busy, they could tell me so. Don't make two appointments just to not show up. They really need to be more professional. read more

What an amazing experience this has been. Absolutely amazing job on my yard and they definitely went above and beyond to fix a mistake that my builder made on my home. We went from a dirt lot to this beautiful backyard experience that has a retaining/seating wall as well as a yard area some rocks and our drainage ditch and they did a compacted base area where we're going to put a shed. What I loved about working with the biggest little yard was how easy everything was. The guy showed up every morning or afternoon and would work almost the entire day until this was done. They ran all the options by me and brought anything that came up to my attention immediately. They were able to work without me being home but also didn't mind me being there. They were kind about my dog, well puppy, Who has some pretty questionable manners right now. Overall this experience was a 10 out of 10 and their price be all of the competitor bids we had. If you need some yardwork done this is definitely the place to go! read more

I did not use their services. But I was able to meet the owners to get an estimate. Because my mom needed HVAC, we had to cancel our lawn care. We are not able to afford it at this time. Never finished the job! They left our job incomplete and 8 weeks later are still refusing to respond to us or correct any of the issues. They also did some very underhanded things such as filling our new raised garden beds with junk filler dirt after being told not too then flat out lied to us about it. The drain lines they put in weren't done correctly, the fence repair incomplete and the trellis is in the wrong spot. read more

I got an estimate for the continuation of a retaining wall and adding rock to my terrible dirt hill and flattening the surface; unfortunately, the quote was a little steep for my current spending budget. We had a station in our sprinkler system that was staying on, so we had them come out and give what I thought was an estimate. The girl came out first and was roughly 30 minutes late. She just talked to me about what the issue was and said someone would come out and look at the actual issue. They sent me a quote to do the work, then they set an appointment to come out for what I assumed was to do the repair, but it turned out to be them actually coming to look at the job for the first time. Again, they were late. Appointment at 3:30pm, showed up at 6:00pm. Gave an estimate of $900 to replace valves that they said were old and broken and to terminate unused station(s)/drip. Called another company the next day, explained my issue, got a $90 quote over the phone for what was assumed to probably just be a dirty valve and if the valve was bad, maybe $150. New company came this weekend, cleaned the dirty valve and everything is great. Do not use this company. They seemed nice, but not punctual and said we needed new equipment, when the old equipment was fine. read more

Really upset that this business didn't work out regardless the reviews. I scheduled for a weed removal/spray service and contacted them to verify if they were still coming despite not making for scheduled appointment time. I got a text response saying they'll be here but turned out to be a NO SHOW without a notice or even a call back to cancel. Communication was really bad and frustrating. Business will text to let you know they are "driving" after refusing to answer a call. Im usually a patient and understanding person but a no show without notice was unacceptable. At least a call back or reschedule etc. I hope this doesn't happen to the next person. read more

Had a paver patio installed. Worked with the foreman to make sure that it met our desires, and they made it happen. They also helped repair our lawn that had irrigation issues due to builder. Now our yard is complete and looking beautiful. read more

Based on the work they did they deserve 5 stars. We wanted more pavers added to the side of our house that doesn't get wind and we also wanted the pavers to extend under the fence to create a wider pathway in front of our house. They did an incredible job with the work. You can't even tell where the old pavers end and the new ones begin. They also put in a great planter area in order to make the edging next to the fence look nice. The Biggest Little Yard was extremely reasonably priced and I was overjoyed that they agreed to our smaller job since so many other companies turned me away and told me I didn't meet their pricing minimums. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because as soon as our job was complete their communication stopped. They were supposed to bring me a few extra pavers to keep on hand and the guy never showed up. We were also emailing them trying to give them an additional job (since they did so amazing the first time) by putting in a fence and they completely stopped responding to me. I was disappointed that a company I felt so lucky to find initially stopped talking to me once the job ended. read more

I've been trying to find someone to come and do my yard maintenance, which, due to mostly zeroscape, would just be monthly, with special sessions for emergent applications and opening up/closing down in the appropriate seasons. Andrea was responsive, set up an appointment, showed up on time, so I was quite happy. Haven't received the proposal yet, but it's also "off season" so I'm sure she'll get back to me before my need is actual. read more

I had a very old wooden sprinkler box collapse in my front yard. I reached out the Biggest Little Yard who was initially responsive. They got back to me very quickly to send me a link to schedule an initial appointment. They showed up a bit late for the appointment but communicated with me that they would be late. They showed up, took some photos and said they'd have to see if Western Nevada Supply had the parts and would get back to me. It's been a week and I still haven't heard back from anyone so at this point I assume they either can't fix my problem or do t want the business? I ended up hiring another landscaping company who was at my house with the box fixed in a matter of a couple of days from my initial contact. read more

The contract for this company only protects The Biggest Little Yard, and gives the customer no protection or say in their project once the contract is signed. They request 50% NONREFUNDABLE deposit to be scheduled. I wouldn't give anyone 20K that I don't know. They can change your design and materials as needed without your approval to complete the job per contract. The Biggest Little Yard determine when the job is complete and not based on your approval or acceptance per contract. The Proposal I received was the lowest out of the four I received and they had half the materials listed when comparing to the other companies. All four companies received a detailed plan in order for me to get Proposals on the same design and material. The other three companies only require 50% deposit on the first day when the project is started. The other three companies were all very close to the amount of material needed to complete the job, and The Biggest Little yard listed only about half the material. Based on their contract I didn't feel comfortable moving forward with this company. read more
