Two words - BIG PRETZEL. The schnitzel and sausage were great, but the pretzel was next level. Very fluffy, great crust, paired well with the mustard.

    Labneh!!!!

My lady and I come here every time before she flies out. The first time was what I thought to be the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. But to confirm the next time my wife flew out we had to go back and I will confirm. This is the best food truck in Austin, maybe all time. Get this guy a james beard award im not joking. Came today to experience the juciest, fall-off-the-bone chicken ive ever had in the form of a wing. Upon showing a slight bit of gratitude the gentleman who runs the joint, my wife and i were greeted with complimentary Labneh. The dish I mentioned i was planning to come back for. Talk about service. 10/10 service 10/10 food. This is THE best place in all of AUSTIN. Forget everything and come here now.

Really fresh, vibrant, beautiful food. Perfectly paired with a cold one. Highly recommend driving out for this.

We ordered some food here to complement our beers from Live Oak and we are glad we did. We tried the brat, pretzel and smoked nuts. The smoked nuts for phenomenal. We liked them so much we ordered 2 more to-go. We also ordered a couple of the cherry bombs for a sweet treat. Everything was great.

This pretzel was as good as it looks. Freshly made, warm, and the Maldon salt was amazing. Queso was great also. The kicker was the service. Didn't grab your name, but the lad it the truck was awesome! Best thing you could do while killing time before the airport.

This hidden gem is worth visiting. Smaller list on the menu so each can be perfected, and that they are. The theme is German food. The food is competitively priced and taste is amazing. The service is great and doesn't take long to get. Come give it a try!

Had their Live Oak Big Bark Brat sandwich. Very good and we'll be having this again when we visit Live Oak Brewery.

Their curry last night was yellow curry and I ordered the chicken for my protein. I didn't put any spice in it and therefore it wasn't spicy to me. The coconut milk flavor was delicious. The chicken was a good portion and they had a small potato in the curry. The rice was fresh as well. The size of the meal was enough for me to save half for today's lunch - bonus! The prices start at $10 (almost everything) and went up to $14 plus the protein. The service was excellent too. Nash being a Navy veteran was talkative which I enjoyed since I'm an Air Force veteran. The ambiance is the great outdoors so as the song says love the one your with, in this case love the place you're at. You can see from the site here to get a number to see where they are located next. Thanks 8E8!

I wouldn't eat here again…read more I had high expectations with the good Yelp reviews. We ordered the ribs and the chicken quarter (which was more like a Cornish hen quarter because it was so small) The burnt end black eyed peas were we very spicy, which I like, but it was not noted and they were salty. We threw them away. I was not impressed and $7 for the chicken (see pic) is a crime when it's that tiny.

I ordered the pork ribs with black eyed peas and burnt ends, and everything was packed with flavor. The ribs were tender and well seasoned, about three in my order, and came with a tangy sauce , grilled toast plus pickled tomatoes and onions that were downright addictive. The Black Eyed Peas were bold and spicy, with chunks of smoky burnt ends mixed in. Definitely not shy on seasoning. They serve everything on compostable plates which I really appreciate. The staff was friendly and knew their stuff. They mentioned the menu rotates often, so what's on today might not be there next time. Small batch, small menu, but worth it. The truck was set up at the brewery, so there's plenty of seating--inside, shaded, or in the sun--and drinks come from the brewery itself. Only reason I took off a star was the limited options, but overall, the food was fantastic. I'd absolutely come back to try more from their menu.

For airport food, I was actually surprised at how good it was. I got the korean steak bowl, which came with arugula, avocado, tomatillo salsa, cotija, pickled red onions, and fried shallots. It had a good portion between the meat, rice, and arugula. Meat was tender and tasted great, especially when you add their habanero sauce they offer. Also got the belgian fries with parmesan, parsley, and a peach bbq dipping sauce. Perfect crisp on the fries, and the portion was plentiful for the price being $6. If your gate is around 16-17, I'd recommend coming here for your airport eats!

I saw someone walking by with an order of French fries and immediately decided that I needed to try them for myself. I went with the Parmesan fries, and OMG... they were amazing! I honestly wish I had ordered two. I also got the pork belly tacos, and they were delicious. The pickled carrots and cucumbers added such a great balance to the pork belly and made the tacos a really flavorful treat. It's one of those combinations that you don't necessarily expect to find, but it works incredibly well. The customer service stood out so much, with the girl at the register greeting me immediately, making recommendations, and being patient while I was being indecisive lol Everything was good, the fries were the unexpected standout, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Austin. There's always something fun to discover here!

Warning to those visiting around dusk in summer: during my last visit we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Other than that, love Radio. This location has three food trucks including one of my favorites, Shortwave Diner. Their smashburger and Reuben sandwiches with homemade fries are delicious. Radio also offers an amazing happy hour from 4 pm to close every Monday through Thursday. The hibiscus mojito is the perfect summer treat. This location has a great trivia on Tuesday nights too. Most recently, I tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Chai Latte, and the Berry Crisp Latte. What I was hoping for were robust, unique, signature flavors, but left unsatiated, wanting better coffee/tea elsewhere. In addition to the diluted iced drinks, another common theme you'll find is an unproportionally large amount of outdoor seats to indoor and challenging parking, and for those who work remote, there's still an ongoing hunger games for outlets. On the plus sides, there are a few food truck options, most notably Veracruz and Wow Poke and occasionally will host a fun event and/or concert. Overall, I really want to love Radio, but the cons make it hard to justify becoming a regular.
