First off, location! What a great location. So many different shops and eateries nearby. It's perfect for walking around on a beautiful day. Or rent one of the lime scooters and go to the eat local food truck area. When you walk in you walk into the gift area. There were so many cute, quirky items to chose from! My husband is upping his sock game, and had to chose a pair. My daughter picked out a cute necklace... on sale too! Bonus! I found a top that fits me perfectly. The fabric is amazing! I came here last night as part of the Mid Town Elite Event and I adored this store. They have marvelous clothes and gifts. They even had a huge unicorn and lots of unicorn items (I ). There were gorgeous dresses that I loved with Sparkle, and glitz. They even had a feather shawl. They had some really cool jewelry. My bff and I were there and she bought a black leather-ish purse that folded into a handkerchief-style purse that had tons of hidden compartments. They also had fun gifts, including wine glasses. Having never shopped in the Midtown area, I was SO excited to find out about this shop! This place has something for everyone! I was excited to find OSU things, and snagged a great t-shirt (on clearance!). I found some great tassel-style earrings, too. There is so much more, so allow some time for browsing all the exciting and interesting items. My shopping was part of a YELP Elite event. What can I say about not only BS but the owner Rachael? The store is always full of the freshest looks and quirky and great gift ideas. Located in the heart of Midtown, this is a must stop when downtown. I went in for Small Business Saturday at their brick and mortar store and the pop up shop location. I found the funniest mug for my friend for Christmas and found myself two gorgeous essential pieces. The prices are mid to high range but these are also quality products. I love supporting women owned business, especially ones so committed to their community. The staff is always friendly and this is definitely somewhere to go if you want something special. read more

I stopped in here last minute after realizing my wardrobe only has three modes: funeral-bound librarian, mowing the lawn, and disco queen. Those are great, until you face the reality that your best daytime wedding option is a sequined dress paired with a Port Authority work logo cardigan. Turn around, don't drown! I needed help, and I needed it fast- or else, a trip to THE MAUL was inevitable. The Black Scintilla delivered in my time of need. Not only was the selection great, but the staff were super helpful at finding something cute and fun. It felt like having a personal shopper. I spent around $120 for a complete wedding outfit, accessories, and several pairs of sunglasses. They also had a lot of unique gift items for all ages and budgets. I'm giving them four stars because they really do meet a need in the community, but it's hard when a store doesn't carry things that fit you, and there isn't much else for you to buy. However, it's my own fault I am overweight (might have something to do with all my Yelp reviews...) so I don't want to fault them for that either! So I thought four stars would be a good compromise. They have absolutely gorgeous clothing and it is all really reasonably priced, and they have an ever-changing selection. I do notice that certain sizes tend to sell out quickly, so you might want to call and make sure before heading there. Their Instagram is fantastic, and keeps you up-to-date with what's coming up and what's in stock. Overall, it is a wonderful store and I hope that someday I'll either get in shape and can fit in their clothes, or more plus options will be available :) read more

Super cute boutique and so loved visiting with the owner Rachel! Rachel greeted us and offered us champagne to kick off the Friday afternoon. She was really friendly and helpful and not pushy at all. This place has great clothing and gifts. We had fun hanging out and talking with her and trying on different things and laughing at the funny coasters and gifts. My friend and I got some cute tops that were really inexpensive ($20) but looked expensive (my friend said it looked and felt exactly like her Vince tee-which IS on the pricy side) and came in many colors. Loved the top I got because it was simple and long enough to throw over yoga clothes and cover my backside. Or cute with jeans. We also got some fun fancy water bottles. This store had a nice selection of Oklahoma tees (really cute ones!) and gifts-great for friends visiting the state and wanting to take something from Oklahoma home. We will be back! read more

I really like the Black Scintilla. I think so much of their stuff is very cute and it's a great place to pick up a gift! I do have a few issues, but it's mostly just because that's my life. Every time I shop here, I find something (or multiple somethings) and they never have my size in the thing I want. This was frustrating at first, but has been a consistent curse for me during multiple shopping trips and has prevented me from ever purchasing clothes here even though I've shopped here 4-5 times. The Oklahoma themed gifts seem a little over priced, but that could just be me. The jewery is what you expect from any boutique in the area. I love their location and they are always super friendly! Hopefully one day I'll finally be able to find what I'm shopping for here and bump this up to 5 stars. read more

My sister and I wandered into the Holiday Pop-Up they were hosting and loved it so much that we decided to go over to the brick and mortar in Midtown and I am so glad! The gifts, clothes and all things Oklahoma were really great but what blew me away was the incredible shop owner! All the employees were decked out in elf gear and were really getting into the holiday spirit. We inquired about a specific item but she said the last one was at the pop-up and even offered to run down and get it herself - we just walked back ourselves but how nice is that?! We also loved an item but they wouldn't have the size we needed until January so she took down our phone number and is going to call it us as soon as it is in stock. I've only been here twice and am somehow the duchess which means people must not check in here often lol! My first time was small business Saturday. Lord have mercy, it was so packed. Good for them, but bad for my anxiety. The store is like the size of a large living room and I would say a with anymore than 8 people, you can't really move. I had to wait to get around the center table to the back of the store, because between the checkout line and people looking at the back wall, my only option was literally crawling under the table to get to the back and I think that's frowned upon in fancy places. The small space is my reason for knocking off a star, but I also realize they are a small local shop and that to have a space in midtown means astronomical rent for your shop, even if it is the size of a large living room. The customer service is outstanding and to be honest I was a little intimidated at first. I don't know if everyone that works here is related but they are all basically perfect and gorgeous and I was like omg I'm in yoga pants and haven't washed my hair in 3, maybe 4 days. But everyone is so friendly! And the owner has been in the shop working both times I've been. The selection is reasonably priced, a wall or two of clothes, a wall of silly gifts, a few home gifts and my new fav Natural Living Products (which is why I come here!). The cramped space makes it hard to browse the clothes, but I follow them on IG and they post a lot with price so it's easy to go in, know what you want and get out. Also, parking is easy and it's a quick walk from Bleu. Looking forward to seeing the journey of this store! read more

My husband and I came in here and redeemed free Yelp gifts, were given some drinks as we were shopping, and were told that a shirt my husband liked could be cut and custom made for his preference. Everything is extremely well priced for a high end boutique store. I'm in love with this place; if I lived here, I would be shopping here every day! Okay I totally love this little shop. Besides the great location right in the hustle and bustle of Midtown, I was happy to see the shop owner working in the store. She was on a work-related call when I got there, numbers and inventory and such, but she quickly wrapped up and came over to help me, which I really appreciated. I loved getting to visit with the shop owner and look at all the great gifts, clothes, accessories and more. Specifically, I was in the market for some sheer kimonos for over dresses. Maternity dresses can be pretty blah, but these comfy and stylish kimonos really are so great for making a dress look totally different and much more like a well-planned outfit rather than just a shift. She helped me find the right size and we talked about other options that might be a good choice for me to get through the hot summer being super-preggo. When I worked Downtown, we had nothing like this, and I'd often find myself in a panic trying when I needed something at the last minute to wear to a party (you know, when you thought you could wear what you wore to work and then decided that sounded like a terrible idea). Anytime I need any kind of outfit, casual, dressy, or just to pick me up, I love coming here. I'm a curvy girl! They carry a large to 3x. This translates to size 14 to possibly a 22/24. As a fashionable Curvy Girl once said, you don't know if it fits until you try it on. So don't let the number on the tag be a barrier to trying something on. I am very pleased with the selection of clothing here. The styles are just as relevant and on point as the regular sizes. The Curvy Girl section is not hidden away, it is part of the rest of the store. The owner seems to take just as much pride in curating these Styles as she does the regular styles. I absolutely love everything that I have purchased here. It makes me feel special. I love the idea of adding Boutique pieces to some of my other items that I wear from larger chain stores. I always receive compliments on anything I get from here. I like the fact that even as a Pluz/curvy Girl you can find something unique to wear that is locally owned. The shop also has a wide selection of accessories. They have some of the cutest, functional purses I have ever seen. There's a little section of friend that is filled with items that are perfect for baby showers, birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, I just need you to feel special gifts. There is a thoughtful whimsicalness to every item in the store. The owner and staff are always very friendly and are eager to help you find something that will make you feel special. read more

The owner is uber helpful and so nice! I will come back to support. I got wine glass napkins and organic deodorant (that actually works and is made in Oklahoma). This place is amazing! Every time I go in they are always so sweet and fun to talk to. The clothing is very affordable and of good quality, and you can find things for both work and play. I'm addicted to their pleated skirts. They keep coming out with new colors! There's also a great section of funky gift items at the front for weddings, babies, pets, and besties as well! I am in love with BS!! I was introduced to this cute chic boutique through a Yelp Elite girls night event, I've been a regular ever since! They carry the cutest variety of clothes and accessories, and the items here are quite affordable. The workers are always so welcoming and friendly, but I especially love coming to visit the shop owner Rachael. She is a sweetheart, and I love getting to catch up with her during my visits here. Rachael and the other workers are always very helpful, and they love helping you find pieces that go together or offer advice if you're stuck on a cute skirt or top and you don't know what to pair it with. Rachael is pretty much my perfect go-to personal shopper! My only wish is that they would offer clothes in XS as their current smallest size is a small.
