    Prime rib sandwich

We were looking for Five and Dime and walked in. Apparently, F&D and Blue Tavern and Taco Diablo are all part of the same location. We sat at the bar and had a great evening with Fernando, the bartender. He guided us to the right glasses of wine and through the menu. We got great chips and a green and a red salsas when we sat down. The red was a killer. We had a BBQ beef and a prime rib sandwich. They are huge portions. The fries were prefect. really crispy. The slaw was amazing. The buns wereI think the torta bread so substantial. The prime rib sandwich comes with caramelized onions. It overpowers the beef unfortunately. It also made the bun soggy. I would have preferred more meat and less onions. We also had flan. OMG the flan was fabulous. really creamy. the sauce was not overly sweet which was nice. And the portion size was generous. They have nice banquettes but we enjoyed talking with Fernando so we might always sit at the bar if he's there when we return.

Great options as three places share one kitchen. We went Mexican with the lunch special of two tacos and a salad. Plus veggie enchilada roho. Both delicious. Good service and cool vibe too.

Love the way this restaurant shares menus between Taco Diablo (a family favorite). The decor is really beautiful & the food is always great.

First, we loved the atmosphere walking in. A beautiful, old world bar sets a great vibe. We sat in a comfortable half circle booth. It felt like we were dining privately. There's 3 restaurants you can order from at this place. We stayed with the Blue Horse menu. My draft beer was fresh and a 10, as was the mimosa my wife had - another 10. They serve fresh chips with two salsa's. Another win! We next had the pretzel with mustard sauce and cheese sauce - definitely the best I've ever eaten. I ordered the burger MR, which was perfect w fries and my wife had the ribs, another winner! Our server was absolutely amazing! We will definitely come back!

Great ambience and service. The custom cocktails are amazing. And you can order from Three very distinct menus. I highly recommend.

The ingredients were fresh and it was a good sized portion. The inside of the restaurant is very trendy and clean. The staff was super friendly and service was so quick. Ordering was easy on their digital tablet. they had tables both inside and outside, and since the air-conditioning was cranked, we decided to eat outside. It was so nice that their staff delivered the food to our table. I got their Elechik'n sandwich and fries, while my daughter chose the Thai Sweet Chili Grain Bowl and an Oreo shake. Overall, everything tasted great, except I felt their sandwich was a bit salty. This isn't fine dining by any means, it's more of a vegan fast food restaurant. I love that they had various vegan and animal rights magazines on the counter for patrons to read. Also, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We learned that this location recently got a soft serve ice cream machine and they can make sundaes. We'll have to try that another time!

Blind Faith Cafe was easy to find and there was plenty of (paid) street parking available. We stopped by on a Saturday around 1pm without a reservation and we were able to be seated without wait in a booth. Service was kind but it was very clear they were busy. This was definitely a casual dining experience and we were not rushed through our meal. Inside this feels like a traditional more-than-a-diner but feels cozy like a local restaurant on a tv set where your favorite characters regular. I chose the chilaquiles, which came highly raved about by my friend who recommended Blind Faith. The eggs come any way you want, I chose over easy, they also let you choose between a tomatillo salsa verde or tomato ranchero salsa, I chose the salsa verde which was tangy with a kick but not spicy, just very flavorful. Both were described as relatively mild/not spicy to me by the staff. My best friend ordered the Vegan Mexican Breakfast with vegan cheese and my partner had the Huevos Rancheros, also choosing eggs over easy. Food came out pretty quick and looked delicious. Most notably everything was vibrant and looked so fresh. The serving sizes are large and were plenty for each of us. Prices are comparable to other brunch spots around the city and the quality was great. Blind Faith cafe was delicious and a good experience. I would definitely return and will absolutely keep them on my list of vegetarian options

We found this restaurant through the yelp reviews, and, as usual, the yelp wisdom of crowds was correct. The meal was absolutely delicious. Sorry, I can't remember the Georgian names of the dishes but the eggplant rolls filled with walnut paste, the bread with melted cheese and egg yolk and the lamb and potato stew were all great choices. The food tasted home-made, as if a grandmother had cooked for us with love in every bite. Lots of garlic - we love that. Washed down with a glass or dry red Georgian wine, a perfect pairing. We were fully satisfied with our main dishes so were not able to try dessert. Next time. The atmosphere was nice - tablecloths on the table, friendly service, not noisy. We will definitely come back next time we are in the Evanston area.

Large $16 or Small $9 Nigvziani Badrijani (Stuffed eggplant with walnut garlic paste) - liked this a lot! $24 Chkmeruli (Traditional Georgian - style oven backed chicken soaked in garlic creamy sauce served in a clay pan) - sauce was thinner than expected. Tasted really yummy! Yes garlicky but not overpowering. I love garlic so I wouldn't have been unhappy if it was more garlic forward. Chicken didn't soak the flavor as much as I expected so it needed sauce to get the flavor. Chicken a little dry. $25 Khinkali (Traditional Georgian dumplings with a twisted top, generously filled with your choice of spiced meat, cheese, or mushrooms, 5 Pieces) - loved these! My favorite dish. Expensive for 5 though, even though they are big. Meat was tender and flavorful. $25 Chakhokhbili (Traditional Georgian family style chicken dish with red peppers onions & herbs) - chicken was a little dry again. Flavors were mild, I was hoping for bold flavors. It was good just not what I expected. Perfect if you're looking for something more mild in flavor without any spice. $25 chicken Ojakhuri (Juicy marinated kabob pieces baked with potatoes and onions, seasoned with traditional Georgian spices and served sizzling in a rustic clay pan) - chicken a little dry again. Potato's were the winner here, garlicky and flavorful! Barely any onions. Price - expensive Portion - good portion, also keeping in mind price is high so it's good the portion is reasonable Service - great! Didn't check on us much though
