I had such a great experience. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! The ambiance was very laid back and mature. The jazz playing and the artwork was a nice touch! The food was AMAZING! This is a definite must try!

Enjoyed a great night of live music and good food. The customer service here was great and the food was unique and tasty. Several nights of the week they have live music. Now if you are looking for a cheap date this is not the place. The price points are on the higher side, but for me it won't stop me from coming back. The portions are pretty good sizes as well. Give this place a try for date night or a fun night out with the girls!

The dining area is absolutely gorgeous. The food is made to order, and the staff members are friendly and professional. Everything was tasty, and I look forward to trying something from the lunch/brunch menu.

My new favorite place. The food is fantastic. The people are so friendly. The cocktails are top class. I'll be sharing this place with my friends and family; it will be a Memphis gem soon.

I visited the Blue Room with a few friends yesterday evening 7pm reservation. Simple open space room with tables. Walking in there were about 4 large beautiful paintings on the wall to the left. We were seated & left for about 40+ minutes before the waitress came over to place our order. She was very nice throughout our visit. But it took so long just to get someone to put our orders in and took and hour to get our appetizers and another 30 for our entrees although we placed our orders at the same time. It was 4 of us and only 2 other tables with customers that a totaled of 8 maybe 9 in the entire establishment. It took an hour for an appetizer of a 2 seafood bisque & 2 orders of party wings (8) that were $18 per order & the bisque bowl was $11. The bisque was delicious and my friends enjoyed their wings. Only 2 of us ordered an entree. I order the $27 catfish plate that only comes with a side of greens and a small dry corn muffin. The other entree was a thin ribeye steak that came on a bed of mash potatoes for $45 & any other sides were sold separately for $8 a side. She said her steak was good. My catfish came almost whole bone in with the head chopped off. The catfish was small & didn't have much flesh. At this point it was an hour & a half. I don't like to complain and love supporting BOBs but this wasn't an luxurious experience. There was no band and no bartender so no alcoholic beverages. There wasn't a nonalcoholic drink menu either so we had to drink nasty tap water. They did have a tv on the wall that played some music. So I ask to speak to the manager about my fish order. He offered a side??? A side? So as asked could I get an order of the wings he agreed. It took a long while as I was still hungry. I just asked for to make it to go. They only gave me (6) wings. Myself and one ordered the delicious lemon pound cake bread pudding. I got mines to go and she didn't. Hers was hot full of cream also given an extra side of cream. Mine came out cold and dry like with no cream on it yet a small side of cream. We waited a while for my dessert to come out cold ugh. So I paid for the catfish plate, bisque, and dessert $55 & left still a little hungry with my 6 wings. The manager/ owner comped the wings. They were ok. Idk maybe bc they're a new business of the wait time. They should really add another piece of fish if the fish is going to be so small and meatless just a suggestion. I won't patronize this establishment again or for a long time until they get better established. I don't mine paying for food but it should be better sized portions and two sides that come with the overpriced meals. But the waitress was nice. There was no gratuity added so I left her $5 regardless of my poor experience totaling $60. 2 Others didn't tip. They might also need to add gratuity since service is slow and portions are small.

When we first pulled up, the line was out the door, so we knew it was good. We waited maybe about 15 minutes, and then we were let inside where we placed our order at the countertop. The menu is pretty big, so there were lots of options to pick from. I got the rooster, a fried chicken sandwich, and others got the kitchen sink plate with a Bloody Mary. After you placed your order, you found an open table. All of the tables were clean and accessible. I loved the vibe! Very up beat breakfast theme. Soon after we got a table, our food arrived. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! We all basically licked our plates clean lol. After they drop off your food, there is no 'service' so you do have to get everything yourself. But, I loved this actually since it was casual and it gave you an opportunity to get up and explore a tad bit. When we were done, the 'server' took our plates and we were out the door. The line outside kept steady! But, I see why! It was a great way to start the day.

I ordered the "Kitchen Sink" along with a side of biscuits and gravy, and everything was outstanding. The biscuits were fresh, fluffy, and easily some of the best I've ever had. The bacon was thick-cut, salty, crispy, and cooked perfectly. Every bite was excellent. I got takeout, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere or service, but the food alone was enough to impress me. I'm only in Memphis for two days, and this place was so good I'm already planning to come back tomorrow to try the breakfast tacos. Highly recommend if you're looking for an amazing breakfast spot in Memphis.

Avocado Toast Let's start with what should be one of the easiest breakfast items on any menu. Avocado toast doesn't need much--fresh avocado, a squeeze of lemon or lime, cracked pepper, sea salt, roasted tomatoes, cilantro, and a little love. Unfortunately, mine arrived with chunky raw onions, a few tomatoes, and not much else. The bright flavors that make avocado toast shine were missing. The sourdough bread, however, was perfectly toasted and had a great texture. Eggs Both dishes were ordered with eggs cooked over hard. Both arrived over easy. That's a simple request that should have been easy to execute. Salmon Benedict Presentation was nice, but the seasoning department apparently took the morning off. Salmon naturally has great flavor, but it still needs something. A squeeze of lemon, a touch of cracked pepper, sea salt, fresh herbs--anything. The salmon was bland, and the hash brown casserole followed the same theme. Breakfast Potatoes We ordered potatoes with grilled onions and received potatoes topped with the same chunky raw onions that appeared on the avocado toast. Not exactly what was expected. Now for the stars of the show... the drinks. The Mimosa was delicious, refreshing, and exactly what brunch should be. The Sidecar deserves special recognition. When the bartender admitted they had to Google how to make it, I became a little nervous. Turns out I had no reason to be. That Sidecar was fantastic and easily the best thing that hit our table all morning. Whoever made it absolutely knocked it out of the park. Final Verdict The Toasted Yolk has potential, but the kitchen needs to become friends with seasoning. The ingredients were there; the flavor was not. A few simple additions--lemon, pepper, salt, herbs, and attention to cooking eggs correctly--would have dramatically improved the experience. Will I return? Yes. The drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and there's enough on the menu to give it another chance. Next visit, I'll be ordering something different and hoping the kitchen brings a little more flavor to the table.
