This is how it went: PROS: - Great location right near the beach, it was a late Sunday brunch (1:30pm) and there was lots of available parking around the restaurant - We were greeted & seated quickly although the place was busy when we got there. Staff was nice. - The decor is a "casual surfer beach house" theme, and they also have lots of signage near the small bar in support of the Buffalo Bills (all opposing teams be warned, I can only imagine the place during regular NFL season!) - The menu had quite a bit to choose from, including a bottomless booze option for $20 (nice!) - The staff is on the younger side so I was expecting far less than the kind service we received... definitely a bonus! - The food was good... we had the Burger and the Shrimp Quesadilla - Price was pretty reasonable for the portions & quality CONS: - My order got messed up a touch... not the end of the world but caused me to purchase something I didn't want - No Gluten-Free breads available (although they do have corn tortillas!) The food was amazing, and the beach is just right up the street. It's a cozy little spot right off the road, but absolutely worth it--especially for the people-watching. Went on a Sunday around 12 and it was mostly full but there were a few spots. Not a big place. Staff is very nice. Overall the food was just average. The breakfast potatoes were good, grits were ok. Small cute restaurant by the beach in Boca. The service was very friendly all throughout and they even accommodated us when we changed our minds about sitting outside - much appreciated. The classic eggs benedict were delicious! Good hollandaise. The cheesy grits were lacking some flavor, maybe butter. The eggsadilla was enormous and very filling! The Boca Beach House is a quaint mom and pop style small place close to the beach in Boca Raton with tasty eats and lovely people. This low-key, beach themed small place has stupendous service and quite delicious food, overall, our experience went without a hitch. The restaurant is pet friendly which is always a plus for me and it has a selection of free refill drinks which I also highly appreciate. My husband ordered the steak and eggs which he said was perfectly cooked and super yummy. I had the Salmon Avocado Toast which was so good, I don't ever want to have avocado toast prepared any differently than with lox on top. Charming, unassuming cafe with qualify food. I was hesitant to try it based on the exterior (only because we're always looking for a vibe and I wasn't sure based on the mini strip mall location if this would be it) but it's super cute inside. It definitely has the casual beachside ambiance. They serve breakfast and lunch; we went at 12:30pm on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all--only a few other customers. The service was very friendly, personable, and attentive. I ordered the lox Benedict--it was delicious!--but my only complaint is that it wasn't very warm. Perhaps the tomatoes cooled it down? Been here many times and realized I didn't do a review. What a great breakfast/lunch place! You can tell the owner prides themselves on providing good quality food! Atmosphere is bright and clean. They have some great art work on the walls that you can purchase. Ample parking in the rear, you can also get in the restaurant from the back as well. Food is made fresh and if busy may take a little bit- good quality isn't slapped together. So many great items on the menu- The chicken club and an amazing and not typical! Great melding of flavors. The mahi tacos were delicious and I got them blackened. Very good and they use anise in the seasoning which gave it a unique/flavorful twist! Great setting within walking distance of the beach. With both inside and outdoor seating, you can find the spot you want if you get there when they open (8:00am) but the place gets busy fast, especially on weekends. After dining here I do not understand how there are so many good reviews. My experience was sub-par. The location is close to the Boca beach, in fact I saw many people parking and taking beach chairs out of their cars. We sat inside and we were the only people in there. A few people were seated outside. The food and service were lacking. Pancakes were dry and served with a tiny amount of syrup, but only after asking for it and served in a little dish. You would think a restaurant with so many pancake dishes on their menu would have a syrup dispenser. Poached eggs were hard. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and dry and the toast served with it was thick and burned. Hash browns consisted of dried out potato nuggets; they were probably prepared early morning and served all day. Salads were served without enough dressing. Our server forgot to bring syrup for the pancakes and the toast for the egg dishes and had to be asked to get it. Blueberry pancakes consisted of a pancake with a few fresh blueberries dropped on top, none were in the batter to cook inside the pancake. These are probably the worst pancakes I have ever had in any restaurant. McDonald's pancakes would've been better. Because we were in a group I didn't want to send my food back, but poached eggs should not be hard. Everything was overcooked which shows a lack of care in the preparation of the food and if you cannot be proud of it you shouldn't have served it. I was extremely disappointed and wouldn't return, as you could get better food almost anywhere. I could have made better pancakes and eggs at home. read more

4.5 stars This is an adorable cafe on Palmetto Park Road a block from the beach. I met my friend here for the first time and we had a great brunch/lunch at an outside covered patio table. The menu was great, with lots of options. I had eggs with onion, tomato, cheese and toast. The eggs come as a scramble, but I asked for omelet style and they agreed. The eggs were cooked just as I like them and the toast was very good, medium-well toasted, just how I like it. The server was excellent. We had a few special requests and she was happy to accommodate. They do serve beer/wine and even drinks like Bloody Marys, but made with a wine-based vodka, which wasn't bad. Helpful Hint: They do have parking behind the building, they are in a small shopping strip. However, you cannot leave your car there and then walk over the beach, without being stopped by the security guard. Overall, I would definitely go there again, there were a lot of other things on the menu I'd want to try! read more

Server was terrible I don't know if it was her first day or what but we told her we were splitting our food she didn't bring us a second plate nor silverware or napkins or refill our waters once after we went inside and asked for waters twice and then asked her again and she seemed mad that we asked and then still didn't bring them. She also charged us for guacamole we told her we didn't want. But I just didn't say anything because she already had an attitude. She didn't check on us until she saw that we were done and needed our check. Then we paid in cash and she never came back out with our change. Mind you it was very slow. First time it came with the yolk fully cooked, second time the english mufffin was mushy almost raw and the third and final time the egg white was only partially cooked kind of like snot. It doesn't melt of course bec it's been out of the toaster a tad too long. The bathrooms desperately need a deep clean. I've seen gas stations bathroom cleaner than this restaurant's. I loved every second of this experience. I went on a Thursday morning just by myself and some restaurants will make you feel weird when you do that, but they were very friendly. The coffee was great though I wish they had some non dairy creamer (to be fair I didn't ask so they might). I had a mimosa for only $5! You really can't beat that price. I also had the coconut pancakes which were incredible. Super light and fluffy with shredded coconut inside and topped with a non diary whipped cream. This place should be great. It has potential, however, a few things: A) The service is terrible. They're slow and inattentive, and clearly don't know what they're doing. That shows how disorganized they are. They can't even get their table numbers right...and they don't have that many tables. Weak! B) Their food is pretty good. However, they run out of their menu items. Not ok. The first time I went they didn't have 3 different items we wanted. Another sign of poor management. They should be able to manage their inventory better. C) For some god forsaken reason, the chef put anise on the Scallops and grits. Yuck!!! Why?!?! It completely ruined what otherwise would have been a delicious dish. I absolutely HATE anise, and it is an unpopular spice in general, so why use it? Are they trying to piss people off? I should have sent it back. Next time, if there is a next time, I definitely will send any dish that's not ok back. (For anyone who doesn't know, anise is a seed type spice, from the anise plant. It is in the same family as fennel and has a licorice taste. It is very strong and not widely liked). You can tell they are ether rookies, or very poorly managed. read more

First time was good. Second time was Yuck - overpriced and Denny's quality food. Inconsistent and ridiculously overpriced.

Gave this place a try on Christmas Eve day. I'm not sure why we've never been. Very cute spot-almost felt like we were in another state...in a small town...at a family-run soot...loved the vibe. Our server was great-super friendly and attentive. The food was good. The biscuits and gravy had a little too much spice for me-but I would definitely go back to try something else.
