The woman at the counter explained there sessions step by step and made sure you knew what you were going for. You get to choose from an assortment of scented oils. I chose the jasmine oil and the 30$ for 60 minute deal. Reflexology with a deep body massage. I left a tip prior due to previous experiences. The setting was very clean and calm. Their musical choice relaxed me with its sound of Studio Ghibli & Disney like style. They soaked my feet in a warm bucket of water and started on my head. The man working on me used the right amount of pressure on every knot in my body! I'm into very deep thorough massages but I've yet to have one so thorough at a very decent price! They went for my feet and before you know it I had hot rocks on me! It was the most amazing feeling! I never wanted it to end... They do your back and just get everywhere! I went for two massages today and this one is definitely aces for me. They give you a punch card so after so many you get on free. I am definitely coming back here and definitely bringing friends! Awesome place. Well worth the money. I did the 90 min royal combo massage. (Basically 45 min foot massage and 45 min full body massage) all for only $60. Run down. You enter and pick a massage package. You pick an aromatherapy scent (I chose eucalyptus, I like to breath deep!) You enter the room (cubicle, walls that don't do up to the ceiling but still private) and undress. Relax and enjoy the 90 mins of blissful massage. Leave feeling relaxed and happy. (Ummm....no happy endings.... get your mind out of the gutter!) Definite repeat but I think I'll do the 2 hrs royal combo next time. read more

I really enjoy foot reflexology, so on a recent trip to Modesto I decided to give the foot treatment at this place a try. I was not disappointed! I called in on a weekday afternoon and was easily able to get appointments for my mom and I just 15 minutes from when I called. They put us in a room together, which was a nice treat! I'm more used to the places that have large, open rooms - but this place looked to have mainly (if not all) private or semi-private rooms. The woman at the front desk was great. She was super helpful in communicating with our massage therapists, who were wonderful but spoke very little English. Our massage therapists were both excellent - so kind, and very good at what they do. We got the one-hour foot treatment. Like the foot treatments I've done before, you keep your clothes on, start on your back with your feet soaking and a head/neck/arm massage, then foot and calf massage, then turn onto your stomach for a neck and back massage. From beginning to end, my experience here was quality. The young lady working at the front desk was knowledgeable and was great about explaining their services and answering my questions. My masseuse (I don't remember his name) was able to find all of my knots and work them out aggressively. When I walked out an hour later, I felt like a new person. We came here for the 1st time today from stockton because of the 5 star yelp reviews to celebrate our anniversary with massages! We LOVED IT we arrived a bit early and we were taken care of. I loved how we could pick out our room scent. For our anniversary they had rose petals on the beds and also chocolate kisses and apple cider. The message therapists were amazing very accommodating. This place really is a new experience for the Asian style massage (soak your feet in warm water, sit on a reclining chair and get pounded on type of massage) also known as reflexology (feet and body, mostly feet) What makes Body Spa different and AMAZING? 1.They are so NICE!! 2. They are so NICE! 3. They COMMUNICATE everything to you. (right when you walk in the receptionists greets you, My sister and I meet Amanda, she is so sweet!) 4.Their massage rooms can be private or shared with whom ever your going with (your preference). Its not a massage chair, but an actual massage table/bed that you receive reflexology in (in many places its on chair). 5. It smells so good in the room because before your massage you get to pick an oil scent to burn( no extra charge) while getting your massage. YAY! 6. The price, with all the services/ atmosphere it is better than some High end places I've tried. $20 for 45 min so worth it! Next time I will try 60 min for $60 and tipping $20 because I already know its going to be great. hehe :D 7.The massage therapists works so hard! I had Alex as my massage therapists he is awesome, and the techniques they use is different in so many great ways! For $20 hot stones are included say whaaat! (usually starts at $40) I have tried a lot of the Asian massages and also Western style massages. This is by far the best in customer service I have experienced yet. I come here about once or twice a month for a massage. It's $50 for a one hour massage with oil plus $10 for customary tip. The oil is actually a hypo-allergenic lotion. At the front desk, you tell the receptionist what kind of massage and pressure you want and he/she will communicate it to the massage therapist. The therapists are Chinese and don't speak much English, but they are very accommodating and take your feedback seriously (using the receptionist as a translator) so don't be afraid to speak up. Anna (the owner) trains all the staff herself so that you get the exact same massage from whomever you choose. There is some variability among therapists, like level of experience or strength, but it doesn't make much of a difference in my opinion. I definitely prefer the Asian style massage over American because it approaches trouble spots from many different angles rather than trying to steamroll the knots out. Tight muscles are like rubber bands; if you stretch them too tight at once they will snap back. You have to heat and loosen them gently and let them relax over a period of a few days. Other considerations for choosing this place over others are that they have semi-private rooms (even for foot massage), competitive pricing (buy ten get one free, free ten minutes if you pay cash), and they are open late. read more

This was my second time here. The receptionist was amazing. She was very sweet. I was not sure what I really wanted to get and she was very patient with me while I tried to decide what I Wanted. She helped me decided so I went with the fully body massage. My massage with Leeann was amazing. I did the 90 minute massage and it went by so quickly. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. All of the things that I dislike about other places were not an issue here. The communication is excellent and the foot massage is just that. I personally dislike when "foot reflexology" includes arms, hands, head and back. The massage therapist that I had was excellent and I was extremely relaxed after the massage. Went for the first time tonight. I took my husband for a couples massage. It was great to be able to go in late because my husband doesn't get home until about 8:00. The spa was especially clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and it was totally affordable. The massage itself was perfect. I asked for medium firm pressure and my technician delivered. She was very strong. She could probably kick some bootie in an arm wrestling match. Afterwards they use warm wet towels to wipe off the oil so you don't feel slimy when you leave. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it. read more

Hands down the best place I have been to. My boyfriend set up massages for his mom and myself for our birthdays. When we arrived they were so polite and made us comfortable. They made sure to ask for any injuries we previously had that would effect the massage, what type of strength we wanted for massage, and walked us through the massage.
