The fried clam strips are absolutely a must. They are getting hard to find around the country and it is a pleasure to be able to get them when in Utica. They are seasoned just right. The oysters were a bit small, but very fresh and served with wonderful accompaniments. The haddock was perfectly cooked. And everyone at my table seemed pleased with the full variety of this most satisfying menu. Coffee and dessert were very nice. No cappuccino or espresso, but that's not why you come to this delightful seafood restaurant. I will continue to come back when I am in Utica.

The dining area had lots of decorations as you'd imagine the theme was beach like. Started off with calamari and it was very unique - the rings were cut thinner than most places and the light breading really let the flavors come through...definitely fresh and really good. Opted for the deep fried haddock and shrimp special, shrimp were very large and still had bite to them so I have to believe they were very fresh. Beer battered haddock was good - two strips with a nice coating. Took a pic of the dinner but it came out lousy - good reason to return.

This Red Lobster was definitely better than most. From the cleanliness to the airy atmosphere to…read morethe diversity in patronage to the quality of food, I rather enjoyed this lunch experience. The food was fresh and delicious. My date even ordered a non-seafood dish and was very happy with the outcome. My crab Alfredo lunch portion was definitely adequately portioned, and I have to say the amount of crab was eye popping. Not to mention delicious! We did order appetizers and I was very happy with my server's knowledge of ingredients. I cannot have scallops (which is a shame, because they always look and smell so appetizing), and the server knew right away that the seafood stuffed mushrooms do in fact contain scallops. We opted for a duo of mozzarella sticks and crispy green beans for an appetizer. The mozzarella sticks were fine -just what one would expect. The crispy green beans were not so wonderful. They were edible, but definitely not crispy and the batter flaked off on the short trip from the plate to the dipping sauce. It almost seemed as though they had used the previous evening's boiled green beans for today's crispy green bean lunch. Who knows. :) Regardless, we were not disappointed at all with the whole of our experience, and I must add that all of the good I saw on other tables as I walked through or that I saw being brought out looked and smelled very appetizing. For a Red Lobster (aka: a chain restaurant), they did a very nice job.

Red Lobster has been a main staple in our family starting with all you can eat snow crabs (long…read moresince discontinued) to endless shrimp which comes and goes but definitely a place where we would go and over eat. We had not been in awhile since new management took over, endless shrimp was removed, and food and service just were not the same. When we heard endless shrimp had returned we knew we had to go back. Mind you prices for participating in the shrimp free for all has gone up substantially and will set you back 29.99 a person. For me I can no longer eat like that so bowed out of the free for all. My partner in crime was totally on board for participating n the free for all.... While plates come out steadily food quality and taste are just not there. Given the price endless shrimp is no longer the deal it used to be and for the price would rather order quality seafood. The restaurant is in clear need of TLC and has not been updated in many years. Sad as days gone by I remember when endless shrimp was in full swing there would be a wait for a table with all three dining rooms open. Unfortunately, the place is like a tired ghost town which is sad to see and would not be surprised to see it close.

Cute crab shack ambience, it's a hot spot so order or arrive before the dinner crowd. My first visit was a Saturday around 6 and it was crowded and not a seat to be had! All the seafood platters being served looked amazing, so I knew I was in the right spot! I was greeted as I approached the counter and was assisted with my take out and recommended popular party sack combinations. I ordered #3 which includes a lobster tail, one cluster or 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb shrimp (I recommend requesting Head Off!) a piece of corn, and 2-3 potatoes. I chose Cajun seasoning and, very hot spice. Warning you best be a very spicy hot lover, it was challenging but loved it! I have already returned for a second time, also #3 sack added extra corn $3 and extra potatoes $3. CrabnGo special seasoning and still extra hot! Delicious not as over the top as Cajun Hot! $47 and change with the added corn and potatoes. $42 and change without. Only one quarter piece of corn first order and two potatoes. Love it! It's going to be dangerous now that I've tried this Cajun Seafood that makes you feel like you are in the Bayou! And the heat that matches!
