Their basic matcha latte has a good balance of milk and matcha and is not too sweet, which I enjoy as I hate having my lattes just taste like syrup. I have heard mixed reviews on their coffee-- some have told me their iced lattes are watery. I was also told the hot coffee was just alright. I also tried the dubai chocolate waffle which tasted great but was a little expensive for the size, but still yummy. The baristas were friendly, and you can choose to order from the counter or have someone take your order at the table which was interesting. I really liked the interior-- it was clean, modern and comfortable and would be a great place to do remote work, ready or study. The view of the lake dock is also nice. Overall a good cafe that I would go to again.

I love the ceramic mugs they come in. Iced Matcha Latte is pretty standard. Ube Latte doesn't come with coffee, so I added an espresso shot. The ube is made with powder (which I personally do not like vs the more pure syrups, as it is more taro-like than ube-like in flavor). Mango lassi is pretty good! Pastries are supplied locally from Bella's. The two croissant based ones happened to be stale, but the cookie was good for the kids.

This trip we found the bicyclists in full gear taking a break on their ride just as entertaining. Service is attentive and prompt for such a busy location! During my last visit, their payment system broke down after I had placed the order. They tried to reset, but it didn't work. I told them that I would gladly pay them on my next visit since I'm there with frequency, but they refused and actually took back my order that I'd already gotten. No trust in their customers, even ones that have been coming regularly for so long. Not even an apology when I went back two days later to pay them the money in cash. A loyal customer lost in one instance because Trailside does not understand the value of customer service and how that can affect its clientele.
