There was a short wait and the hostess kept my wife company while I went to the men's room Our waitress Ellie was very entertaining and checking in on us the perfect amount. Music is like old rock 'n' roll and light rock. My wife loved the Ava Benny, she said it was out of this world! The searving was so big, she could only eat half. I had the Eggs Benedict - I try to have that every place and see who had the best. It was really good. Those little square potatoes are so tasty and the corn beef hash wsa scrumptious! The staff was super friendly and very attentive! The place is always packed and now we know why- 2 key components to a successful restaurant- super food and great service. They have both and more.

This place is hoppin' and consistently fabulous! Came here on a Sunday morning just before 11AM. We were quoted a wait of 45 minutes -1 hour, but got the text that our table was ready in less than 15 minutes! Efficient and friendly staff and top notch food. Dishes that you keep thinking about long after you've left the table. Huge portions that reheat well. This place gets packed but it is with the wait. Coffee is hot and keeps flowing and love the upbeat tunes. The Oreo, brownie, cookie dough panckes, caramel apple cinnamon pancakes, s'mores waffles, and pig pen were all over the top, excellent. Highly recommend, can't say enough good things about this place!

Wife had a birthday breakfast here today and she can't stop bragging how great this place is. Best ingredients prepared perfectly. Cute quaint little roadside place with nice back yard.

Countryside Kitchen is aptly named and a true dining gem in the local neighborhood. I'm awfully pleased to be able to write this review. Right off the top, I can't say that I was responsible for choosing this restaurant for my friend's pre-apple-picking breakfast, but I was responsible for the research that laid the groundwork for the pick. As stated, Countryside Kitchen was perfectly named because if you have an opportunity to enjoy a meal at this restaurant, especially around this time of year, you will come to see how country-cozy this restaurant truly is. If seated in the back dining area, you will be treated to a banana of fall colors and cute autumn decorations. As you wait for your meal, take it all in. The food and the service were amazing but it was the size of the pancakes that took me by surprise. I had the banana walnut chocolate chip pancakes. OMG! Slap your momma good. Honestly, everyone was deliciously down-home tasting. The type of food you pack up and eat the next day which is exactly what I did; is simply amazing. Please do yourself a favor and give Countryside Kitchen a bite; your tummy will thank you.

Delicious food. Good service, food took a little long but I would assume It's because everything is freshly made, it was worth the wait. The place is bigger than it looks, would a nice patio in the back

Worth Every Mile - A Breakfast Vibe You'll Never Forget! We drove an hour out to this gem of a breakfast/brunch spot, and let me tell you--it was so worth it. From the second we walked in, the energy was just vibes. The owners made us feel like family--literally wouldn't let us leave without making sure we were full, happy, and smiling. The service? Next level. Every detail was taken care of with so much warmth and intention. You could feel how much love goes into this place. The food? Unreal. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and like it was made just for us. House owners were beyond amazing--so welcoming, funny, and kind. This wasn't just a meal, it was an experience. If you're thinking about going, stop thinking and GO. This place is a whole mood.

Was very good but place was loud at least for me and kinda small. But still amazing food and worth going to for sure! Will come back again for sure!

Friendly service, good value. Nice diner for breakfast in Mahopac. Came for breakfast and ordered the special with 3 fluffy pancakes, bacon, sausage, and Sunny side up eggs. The portion was huge but I'm not sure why the plate has to be so small. The eggs, sausage, and bacon were layered in between the pancakes and the plate was so small that you could not separate them making it hard to eat.

    Amazing pancake.. banana/pecan

The restaurant reminded me of a trip to Ireland where we had stopped in a small food market and there was a pub in the back. But it was a good meal. The Cottage Pie was pretty good..again, I prefer the classics so I would rather a Shepherd's Pie ( with seasoned ground lamb and not beer ), but it was still a nice comfort meal. The decor is cute..I miss the dim light and warm / dark woods and colors that you expect in an Irish pub. I met the owner on the first visit and she is very nice and I wish her great luck..but the kids who work there have very little passion or personality unfortunately. This really is a nice little place and I hope it succeeds..but it has a few up hill issues..first is its smack in the center of many already establishment great restaurants the other big one is this: 75% of people who live up here moved from Southern Westchester or the Bronx..what does that mean? ..it means we all grew up on Rorys!!! And that is what we are seeking up here. Anyway, nice little place for a comfort meal if you are tired of Good Chinese or Italian. Enjoy!

More afraid of what I did not get especially the fish items. The sushi bar and the lobster as well as crawfish were screaming out " eat this and you will be in the emergency room in 20 minutes " All items were overcooked and dried out. The only food with Chinese seasoning was the Roast beef you cut yourself. You had part raw part med rare or well done. I knew it was going to be horrible because it was lime cutting a shoe to get a piece. I was right. Stuffed mushrooms 1/2 were sour 1/3 were buttery and weird. ShuMai awful. Instantly tasted rancid. I spit it in my hand and threw it out the window. Steamed pork bun had a tiny piece of pork meatball ins. It was very dry no flavor ( out the window) Kimchi loaded with sugar Eggplant loaded with sugar we'd loaded with sugar Stuffed mussels load with sugar. Everything was sweet!! Why?? I left the phone in my car if you saw the food you would understand that this place will not remain open very long. The one and only item I would ever go back here for is the Hot and Sour soup. Probably the best within 20 miles. Very authentic. Restaurant is very big very clean. Staff was very odd and unfriendly. But I'm used to that. I loved the front as it's a little marketplace with souvenirs. (0/10) Dear fellow Americans Chinese food is not sweet!!! Kimchi is not Chinese and oysters are not dry and dark ( scary)

They were great, better than other places with very oily food and of course the closest one we have instead of going all the way in Danbury and Cortlandt. They have a lot of seafoods with sushi area. They also have some cold seafood, which I wish they also have Hot crabs and seafoods too! Their shrimp has flavor as well as the other seafoods they have, my favorite was the cheesy mussels! Yum! Went twice for it! They have some vegetables if you're vegetarian and of course some sushi and sashimi too! Some seasoned fruits, different salads as well are available. Paid almost $60 for Wednesday afternoon which we think is reasonable. Will be back! :)
