    11. Pork Dumpling
    Rebecca B.

This was my first time trying this place and I ordered delivery. The dumplings were very good, very flavorful. The shrimp nime chow was disappointing though. It was wrapped well and stayed together, so that was definitely a plus. However, I was not a fan of the excessive amount of lettuce and the large cucumber strip. I would much rather have less of those and more noodles and bean sprouts. The coconut rice was ok. Nothing spectacular. I ordered a side of the hot oil. It was hot but the flavor wasn't there. I would order the dumplings again and would like to try a few other things before making a final decision on this place. It could have potential that I just haven't tasted yet. It's at least worth a second order eventually.

This place is tiny and clean. We went here because I saw the boba sign in front and wanted to try something new in Wakefield. I ordered Mango Curry with the chicken option and satay chicken. It was delicious and curiously the sour unripe mangos added to the dish. My daughter ordered the Emerald Plate. She also ordered a strawberry boba which tasted like strawberry yoohoo lol! As we were eating a kid on a skateboard came in and asked how much a boba tea was. He didn't have enough and said so and turned to go. The lady at the register told him she would get it for him. He seemed embarrassed but eventually accepted. I include that only because it's a small thing but shows the generosity of this woman who was server and register. It wasn't busy but I found it a graceful thing to do.

First Meal Review ** Takeaway/Takout First let me say that the staff was VERY friendly both when I ordered over the phone and arrival. The place was super clean and my order was ready for contactless pick-up. That being said this was not my favorite Thai meal locally. We ordered three lunch combos which came with an appetizer, soup/salad, and lunch portion entree...so a great value at $10 each meal! But... the chicken on all three meals was so not good. The chicken satay had great flavor but was tough. The fresh spring roll was indeed fresh but the sauce lacked any flavor or basil so basically lettuce and rice paper. The salad was fresh and great dressing. The tom kah soup was smooth, tangy and flavorful as it should be. The mango curry was flavorful but those veggies were chopped huge and again the chicken was tough. The hot basil stir fry had the same chicken issue and the sauce was very thin and overwhelming. The pad thai was super sweet and the noodles stuck together in big clumps. Maybe it deserves another review at dinner... we will see...

Pretty cute place located in a non descript shopping strip. Food was pretty standard for a Thai place. Flavors overall were on point and a good reprieve from all the fish and chips and lobster rolls in the area

Tom Yum soup. Chicken Satay appetizers.

Very good curry, drunken noodles, fresh rolls. We don't deviate from that order much!

Escorted into the bar area, we chose a Counter style booth right next to the wood-burning stove. I found the additional warmth & cozy surroundings to be just terrific. That night, there was a jazz trio playing, and it added a real sense of flare to the place. My guest and I shared eggplant fries that were lightly coated & crisp absolutely delicious! For dinner he ordered a Caesar salad and lasagna and devoured every bit. I enjoyed the braised beef short ribs, which were tender, served with a rich velvety sauce & mashed potatoes. We added a side of roasted Brussel sprouts that were yummy! (though a bit over salted) Crispy cannolis with homemade ricotta filling were taken home to spoil our kiddos! Our waitress SUE was an attentive and thoughtful, lovely person!

I think I'm going to add it to my calamari now! The kids chicken cutlet meal with fresh cut fries were amazing! The three of us ate the fries and still took the rest to go. Chicken cutlet was thin, crispy and moist inside. We always get the same pizzas wherever we go. Naturally, it makes comparing different restaurants on a good baseline. We got a large NY style (thin crust) pepperoni with half sausage. I'm not a huge sausage fan but my boys are. However, this crumbled sausage was delicious. The pizza is put into a wood fire pizza oven, crust was perfect; thin and cooked well but not burnt. The undercarriage held its shape with a nice bite and crunch! I had to finish off the meal with a Nutella pizza and I have zero regrets. A thin pizza crust with decadent Nutella spread all over it and sprinkled with crushed hazelnuts ended the meal perfectly. Ambiance and decor is modern and beautiful, family friendly and the staff is fantastic! I can't wait to go back and try other types of pizza. They offer Neapolitan, Grandma's and NY; not to mention other foods as well. Ciao!

I just came here a couple of days ago for a Yelp event (please check that review for my thoughts on…read morethe pork bun and Sapporo-style ramen on their menu). I liked it so much that I decided to come back and dragged my co-worker with me. The interior is sort of a long narrow-ish setup, with seating on one side, and the ordering counter on the other side. Edison-style bulbs lined the area, providing a warm, orange-ish light. Cozy. You walk up to the counter and order. They'll give you a number and bring your order to your table. I ordered the blackened tuna bun and O.G. Miso ramen (with an addition of pork and egg), with a Yuki Tora sake. The tuna bun was tasty. I believe the tuna was aburi torched, and it was topped with carrots, scallions, wakame, and sesame seeds. It also had eel sauce and wasabi, which created a great flavor combination between the piercing spice of wasabi and the sweetness of eel sauce. The O.G. Miso ramen used a miso broth, with carrots, cabbage, shiitake, topped with scallions, sesame seeds, and a piece of nori. And of course, I added pork and an egg to it. I love shiitake in my ramen broth, as it adds a bit of savoriness, and also provides a bit of meaty texture. The miso flavor in this broth is much more prominent compared to the Sapporo-style ramen, however, I found Sapporo-style broth much more complex and balanced. I think what I was missing in this would be a drizzle of sesame oil. I also got a Yuki Tora nigori sake with my meal, which I found I loved from the Yelp event a couple of days ago. One with the meal, and another one as just dessert after the meal. Also convinced my co-worker to try it, and he also liked it. This place is definitely worth the visit. In general, you won't find ramen this good unless you're willing to go into the city and pay as much for an hour's worth of parking as your meal costs.

The vibe was very laid back on a 2-3ish afternoon. Parking was street parking, but I believe there's public parking around the corner. The restaurant is pretty spacious. You order first and then sit with a number and the server comes with the food/drinks. The tablet does ask for a tip before you even get served. As my personal rule, I never tip before finishing my meal. I ordered the house ramen and a mapo mushroom omusubi. I like how the ramen uses local veggies. The pork was fine, but I didn't like its somewhat dry texture. The broth was a bit too strong and/or salty for my liking, but I don't hold that against it--it reminds me of ramen I've had in Japan, which is a positive if you're looking for something more authentic. (However, I am finding that a lot of ramen just isn't for me!) I got the mapo mushroom onigiri for takeout. I liked it! It's a little spicy and quite flavorful, pairing with the rice well. All-in-all it was a very laidback experience and I would want coming back here again if I'm in the area.

Everything on the menu looked good. I ordered the Vermont burger, with candied bacon, and onion rings on the side, and it was delicious. My mom ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich, which was my second choice off the menu, but I'm glad I didn't order it, it wasn't quite as tasty as the burger IMO. When we left we struggled to move the tables, as my aunt has a walker, and I did feel like the staff should've helped us with that. Other than that, waitservice was fast and friendly.

First look at the menu, you start drooling, so many great options. Since I was with my girlfriend (who has Alpha Gal and is allergic to red meat) I try not to eat red meat when we go out. They were happy to substitute the ham for avocado on my eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The hash browns for me were a little under seasoned. However next to the salt and pepper they had some hot sauce, a little addition of all three of those and the hash browns were great! They have many different coffee flavor options, service was great. While they were busy they let us know that, and apologized for the delays. We were not in a hurry and will be back again the next time we are in the area.
