I noticed that the menu advertised Mexican Gulf Shrimp in thrir tacos and having lived on the gulf and familiar with the superior distinct taste and texture of gulf shriimp we ordered the cod and shrimp tacos. The cod was great the shrimp was fine but not GULF SHRIMP!!!!! False advertising to enhance the product is an old trick but not one that will curry favor in the well informed. Be honest, sincere and caring and you will have better success! I have been here twice now and the first time was a weekday and we sat at the bar. Our bartender was great and the chicken club sandwich was fabulous! We went again this Sunday and sat outside because it was perfect weather. The hostess who sat us was a delight. Cant say much about the rest of the service. Our waitress hardly came by to see if we wanted additional drinks and in fact I had to walk to the bar to ask about my drink. I asked for a bourbon Bloody Mary but it tasted like the regular ones my two table mates had. The bartender was not interested in making it right or even offered to remake it. Said he would have to ask if there was anything he can do. For $12 he should have offered to remake it. It's just good customer service. So that was disappointing. The food however was excellent. Everyone was happy with the burgers and I had the shrimp tacos and a special tortilla soup they had for Cinco de Mayo. So that's a good thing and I will be back because of the food quality. So three stars is all I can give in hopes that someone realizes that the service needs to be stepped up. Promote the gal who seated us at 11. I probably wouldn't be back to this place. It didn't seem like anything special, just a typical golf course restaurant. The flies were insane! You could not keep them off your meal the second that the food arrived. We were constantly moving our hands to swat them away. We did ask for a fly twirler thing that sits on the table and spins to deter the flies. It helped a bit, but they need to figure something else out. The food was very mediocre. Everyone at the table agreed. The shrimp on my pasta had a freezer burnt flavor, but were actually cooked well. I didn't finish eating them however. Service was a bit slow. read more

My husband and I made a mid afternoon reservation for an early dinner. We were seated promptly and given menus, but from there we became invisible. We got comfortable and waited for a server to take our drink order. The dining room was almost completely empty due to it being mid afternoon. There was an abundance of employees, but no one acknowledged us or even made eye contact. Eventually my husband got up, approached an employee and nicely asked if we could get some service. Was staying on the Del Webb property this past week doing a Dog Sit and really enjoyed our two visits to this restaurant. Last Tuesday we enjoyed their Chicken dinner special. The Fried Chicken dish tasted good and was large enough to share. Our second experience was Sunday evening where we spent a wonderful time with Friends around an outdoor fire pit noshing on Nachos, Fish Tacos, and a Flat Bread Pizza with Beers and Wine as the Sun Set. Great setting, revamped dining room and patio, very interesting menu with eclectic choices. And prices are reasonable. I had the short rib grilled cheese, and it was very good, except the portion was a bit smaller than anticipated. My guests had fries on their plates as part of the fish and chips, and the fries were top notch. The fries would be 6 stars if fried in duck fat, but they still hit 4.9 stars for vegetable oil fried fries. read more

We eat at Boulevards for the first time since they're remodeling. The remodeling is nice. We sat outside. Her waiter was extremely nice and very helpful and attentive. The hamburgers are not made in the house and the patties are some thing you can buy at Smart and final. I ended up having the short ribs which are very good but a little on the cold side and I opted to pay $1.50 for the baked potato. The baked potato was the size of my index finger. Not worth $1.50 I thought and assumed I was getting a large baked potato that you would get an a steakhouse. Don't assume anything! My husband had the fillet and wedge salad which he enjoyed. I think they have a few glitches that they have to get out. But to spend $2 million on a renovation of a restaurant that we can't even get a decent good hamburger is really a shame. I hope that they see this and start having housemaid hamburgers, so that we could enjoy for the spring time out by the pool. read more

Their Beyond Burger is a mushy disgusting veggie patty they are calling Beyond Meat. When I called and said I didn't get a Beyond Meat burger they lied and kept saying it is. I eat Beyond Meat patties regularly and this disgusting veggie patty is nothing close to the real thing. I made a reservation online for dinner to celebrate my parents 66 wedding anniversary. We've been to Boulevard many times and have enjoyed it and this is where my parents wanted to spend their anniversary dinner. We first walked in. We waited for a while, greeted by a very unhappy, hostess, who seated us not friendly at all. Service was just OK. I had noted on the reservation that it was my parents anniversary. We had to tell our server that it was an anniversary celebration and he said well I'll send over an ice cream sundae which I saw a young girl walking around with the sundae Finally she sat it in front of my parents like no big deal. It was just kind of broke my heart. It was a very happy celebration that was not acknowledged by the restaurant at all, even though I had noted it on the reservation. It's really sad how the times are these days no customer service. No smiles no interaction no nothing. Just very sad. read more

Local restaurant indoor and outdoor in sun city compound. Have had salads and pita wrap and tacos there since visiting. Everything is fairly fresh and they do a good job. In 104 degree heat, they made my elderly father go back outside to wait after he barely made it in. The manager was rude and inconsiderate of the elderly residents that pay for the restaurant to exist. This is not the first time the manager has been rude with extraordinary prices, and average food.
