I tend to have a hard time continuing my diet of clean eating when I travel, so when I spent a month in Naples my first mission was to find healthy spots that I could frequent on days that I was out & about. The Bowl was the first result to pop up in my search and I'm glad it did. I'm from Boston and while we have plenty of awesome smoothie shops here, no one does it quite like the bowl. The açaí bowls are delicious and the actual smoothie aspect is always flavorful, which surprisingly isn't common for many smoothie bowl joints I've been to. So while I was here, I made sure to get my fill! I tried: Early Bird Smoothie- Great for people that like to start their day with something more protein & fat based than just sugary, and the calorie content was a win over some of the other options. The flavor could've been a little stronger but all in all, it was really good and I loved that it combined my breakfast & morning coffee. (8.5/10) Good Morning Smoothie- Insanely good and once again, I loved that it incorporated protein & healthy fats since I don't love starting my day with nothing but carbs. It was a little more exciting than the Early Bird flavor-wise. The only downside for me is that the calories are pretty high for my usual morning smoothie (around 400), so I only had this as a treat once or twice. (8.5/10) Good Vibes Smoothie- Snagged this on my way to the beach when I was craving something fruity. Flavor was really good and I'd recommend it for a sweet, refreshing treat, but not something I'd start my day with since it packs a whopping 76 carbs with only 2 grams of protein. Mainly a good one for smoothie purists who like their smoothies fruity. (7.6/10) Berry + Green Bowl- For my friends that want a bowl without the calorie price tag, this one is surely the answer to your prayers. While I missed the comfort of the banana and peanut butter flavors I loved in the Bodie, I still got plenty of bang for my calorie buck and would for sure order this again and again. A really great, light option to start your day. (9/10) Barefoot Bodie Bowl- Ah, yes. The bowl that won my heart. While the calorie count on this one is again, a little high for breakfast, it does come packed with protein & healthy fats that'll keep you satisfied for hours. It could honestly even be split between two people, but trust me, you won't want to share. (10/10) The granola was off the chain and I'd highly recommend bringing a bag or two home with you when you're traveling. My only bone to pick is that I've been recreating a lot of these at home and after some experimentation, I'm wondering if The Bowl uses sweetened coconut flakes and sweetened nut/hemp milks in their concoctions. I usually picture smoothie bowls as being naturally sweet, so added sugars aren't something I particularly want to see in mine, but if that's what makes them so good then I understand why they'd opt for those options. Overall though, I was thoroughly impressed as a self-proclaimed smoothie bowl connoisseur and I miss it every day. read more

I finally made it over there on my last day of vacation and the two ladies there were very nice. They explained their bowls and what you could get in each. The bowls were beautiful and tasty, though I personally did not love the blended up part. There was a taste that I could not put my finger on that I did not like, but that's my own taste buds. Can I just say how excited I am for this place to be in Naples?! I don't even live here anymore, but now every time I come to visit from Miami, I think I might just need to make an excuse to come here all the time! This place is squeezed right in between the Starbucks and Rosendale Pizzeria on Pine Ridge Road. Super easy to find, but parking can be a pain in the butt since it is next to a Starbucks and a business building, but they do have 15 minute parking on the side if your in a grab-and-go kinda mood. The inside has a beachy/serene vibe, with the walls painted blue depicting the ocean, and overall is very simple and clean. They have a lot of different options on their menu for the açai bowls that vary from the actual ingredients in the smoothie blend mixture to the toppings. It was hard to choose, but I ended up trying the Barefoot Bodie Bowl (blend: açai, banana, strawberries, blueberries, peanut butter, and hemp milk; toppings: granola, banana, strawberries, coconut shreds, and honey). It was absolutely delicious. So fresh and healthy, even with the small it was filling, and the best part is that you don't even feel guilty after chowing down because you know it's good for you! The small cost $8, and the large is $10. The large is freaking LARGE. So I would only get that if you're in a "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse" kinda mood or plan on sharing it. They also sell smoothies and have cold brew coffee and kombucha (type of black/green tea, not sure what theirs is) on tap. I think this place is great, because it's something new and a healthier alternative than what else is offered in Naples, there really isn't another place like it here. Salt-sticky from a 3h kayaking adventure, we were seeking a lunch that would be filling but not so much that the tensile strength of our spandex would really be put to to the test - TB fit the bill perfectly. We did the AB&J (acai, blueberries, strawberries, nana, almond butter, almond milk, topped with granola, bluebs, nana, hemp hearts, coconut, honey) and a Barefoot Bodie (acai, strawberry, bluebs, nana, pnut butter, hemp milk, topped with granola, strawbs, nana, coconut, honey) - the BB is very nut forward, but both were light and refreshing, perfect to quench our sun-parched hunger pangs. For acai bowls, they also have a more tropical one with pineapple, mango, coconut milk, two green options, which I shunned as they both had apple juice, consumption of which always feels like I'm flirting too closely with diabetes for my comfort - as well as a version that is a non-fat kid's chocolate milkshake - acai, nana, cacao, coconut milk topped with the usual + cacoa nibs. They also have two pitaya bowls - both beachier in tone - as well as smoothies that are quite similar in flavors to the bowls if chewing is just too much to handle. Order at the back of the store, wait up front - space is bright and clean, pleasant enough though nowhere I'd linger - service is high school musical enthusiastic, though it always seems like there are two gals actually working and the rest are running game on the Ken doll look alike who seems to just show up to look pretty - you'll wait 5-7min for your concoction. For bowls, smalls are $8.02, which I'm assuming rings to a normal amnt when tax is added, large is $10. Smoothies are $6.98-8.02. Buch on tap is $4.01, which becomes $4.25, which is a little steep for the portion, but the mint/matcha/honey is that good good shizz. Though it's functionally no different than what I already whizz up in my Vitamix at home, sometimes it's just nice to have someone portion out your hemp hearts for you, you know? read more

I came in here after a workout. The place looks cute and the employees are friendly. I noticed the flow of people ordering and waiting on their orders is a little awkward, as we didn't know where to order right away because everyone was standing everywhere. I ordered the PB and J. Wow, a little on the pricey side, but I justified it because it is very healthy, afterall :) There was a bit of a wait, but it's Saturday, so it wasn't surprising. The menu was very simple and easy to figure out. There are seats inside, and seating at Starbucks next door. My bowl had a beautiful presentation. The blueberries were sour, but good. I thought the almond milk blended with (ice?) was just ok...not much flavor and a brown color which wasn't too pretty, but they do give you a lot, so that was nice. I'm going to visit again another time and try the Islamorada bowl and see if that has more flavor before I give up on this place.
